I was craving sushi and decided to stop by Ninja Sushi. I got the vegetable tempura roll and dynamite roll. I honestly liked the vegetable roll better than the dynamite roll. The dynamite roll was good, but I really loved the flavors of the vegetable tempura. Ordering was easy, and I love how they have pictures of most things on their menu. We did takeout but there is plenty of seating inside and outside as well I believe. There is also lots of parking throughout the shopping center. Ahhh im kinda disappointed about what took place. We eat here quite often and this was the first time we ever got a response like this. Long story short, my son is allergic to shell fish, we always inform restaurants and any where we go about his allergies. We've never had a problem here before as we mostly dine in the back. This time around, my son and I ordered and he was a little distracted, we take fault in that part. I guess they started putting orders together, which they never used too. Anyways, my son ordered a salmon nigiri and I ordered an ebi (shrimp). When the order came out they were put in the same container which caught us by surprise bc they never used too. anyways when I seen it, I had asked if we could get another order and if needed we'd pay bc my son is allergic. The young lady took the order back and sent a young man out. This is where I they disappointed me. He comes to our table and tells us "Im sorry but we arent able to re make the order because they cant separate for cross contamination" So my son had ask (he is a Manager at a high end restaurant, so he knows about cross contamination) are u folks not able to use a different knife (to keep it simple) and the young man stated, they arent able too. we asked to speak to a manager but they stated non was there and we'd need to call. Needless to say, I dont think we'd be going back and im super sad bc we loved Ninja Sushi :(( But if they can be so careless and non chalant about cross contamination, we dont want to take the chance. read more

Located a few feet away from a huge parking lot, it's hard to miss this place. It's very clean and well kept together here. It's not a sit and order place. The cashiers are very nice, soft spoken and polite. Between ordering food and finding a seat it takes about 5-7 minutes to get your food. read more

Decided to stop in for some sushi and drinks at Ninja Sushi in Mililani Town Center. It was not busy at all, though I can imagine this place could get more lively during happy hours. Our server/bartender was friendly and gave some good recommendations. We ordered the Zen Garden and a Dogfish IPA along with the hamachi carpaccio, Superman, Crunchy and Dynamite rolls. All of our food was tasty and the portions were good for the price. Especially enjoyed the hamachi - it was as well balanced as it was aesthetically pleasing! Update 9/14/2025 -- cash short, zero service. Longtime customer, third strike. Cashier didn't greet, looked zoned out, and couldn't properly count back change from a $100 bill. Receipt showed Change Due $58.42, but I was handed $55.42--short $3 that means missing all three one-dollar bills--after he "recounted" it TWICE mumbling to himself. Receipt name said "Charlotte," but a young male was on the register, so there's no accountability and trust. When I flagged it to another guy that brought our food to our table, he said he's not a manager and told me to I have to get back in the long line to see the cashier--no apology, no help, no escalation. Management, please train your staff to count change out loud & properly, fix POS login IDs, and teach basic escalation techniques so guests aren't punished for the store's mistake. I hate writing bad reviews unless it's warranted. This might be my last visit unless management tightens up cash handling and customer service skills. The lack of Aloha here also seems to be an ongoing issue. Oh, I ended up giving back the $3 as a tip after collecting it from the cashier. Got no apology from him. read more

I've been here before, but this time we checked out the back side where there's a bar and they serve you. The space is actually pretty big. When we went, it was slow, just 1 other party so we sat on the opposite side. There was only 1 man working that whole section. He was very cool and nice, and his recommendations were good. We ordered a lot of food for just the two of us lol. The notible mentions are the garlic ebi nigiri and the dragon roll. Something about torched mayo on seafood is so 'ono. For drinks we had the Yuzu sake (I LOVE anything yuzu, so this was so good and it was very smooth!), "the Green Flash" was also yummy. Tasted kinda like a familiar soda I can't quite put my finger on it. Menu selection is quite small. I wish they had mussels, seems like that's hard to find now a days, even KuruKuru doesn't offer it anymore. Oddly, they didn't have tako nigiri and I dont recall seeing ika. I ordered a cold udon bento set since I wanted more nigiri. After eating everything we ate, it felt like a large portion. The dipping sauce was a little too strong, I think it wasn't thinned out enough or had too much shoyu. It also came out in a plastic bento box lol it felt so out of place because we're dining in and everything else was served on ceramic plates lol Price wise it is a little pricey for the quality being served. Food is pretty good here consistently. Today I got my favorites - Tonkotsu Ramen & T- Dragon Roll. I especially like the ramen here because of the noodles: always cooked right. Service can be spotty at times. I don't know if it's because I didn't leave a tip or they just forgot, but they didn't include the two gingers that I asked for. THIS PLACE DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR, they deserve 0 star!!! We finished a hula show at 8pm and decided to eat dinner at Ninja Sushi. Their sign said they open till 10pm but a male worker was rude and said they close at 9pm. Our girls sat down and the same male worker said we bleached everything so they aren't allowed to sit down. Seriously??!!! We told them their sign said they are open till 10pm and he said Really? Then with an attitude he said Well online says 9pm. He then goes and checks the sign and said, Oh yeah it does say 10. No one knew their sign said they are open till 10. The female manager then tells us because of Covid we have to close earlier. Its been over 3 years since Covid and they still didnt know their sign said 10pm. They then go outside and change the time. 3 years later? Really? How dumb can the manager and workers be that they dont even know what their sign says. We finally get our food and sit down in their outside area. The same male worker comes out and told us we have 6 minutes left before they close the outdoor seating. We asked you are seriously kicking us out when we just spent over $100.00? Stopped in for a bite in my hometown after our family enjoyed the Halloween Trick o Treat event at the Town Center of Mililani, & we knew right away that we made the right choice! The food was great and quick to order. The service was also fast and friendly as we felt very welcomed. The ambiance was nice and casual as many families were observed stopping in. The air felt wonderful after being in the sun for the last few hours outside. The sushi itself was great. My husband and I are big salmon lovers and thoroughly enjoyed the sushi here ordering two of their salmon combos and a California roll set. It was delicious! This has become one of our go to places as hubs enjoys their shoyu poke bowl. I used to always get their beef udon, edamame and fried calamari. Recently the other sushi place in Mililani no longer carries somen or soba. Light bulb on! This place has cold soba and it tastes really good to me with their dipping or pour on sauce. Today I am branching out and trying their soba and sushi bento. When you just need a little lite nourishment this is a place to turn to. They even have salads. read more

My friend and I usually come here for dinner before we go to Fun Factory to de-stress from our busy stressful lives lol. For some weird reason, I always get the same thing - mini udon with 2 piece inari and a lychee calpico drink! Sometimes I'll try to get something different, but whenever I do that, I immediately regret and I'll miss my udon and inari LOL!! I guess there's something comforting about warm udon noodles and soup and inari is a childhood favorite :) The workers are always so friendly and I love that so much. This location is the newer location in Mililani Town Center. It use to be near the movie theater, but now they are located near center stage and much bigger. I noticed that they also have a bar area with more seating towards the back which opens from 4pm-9pm. Thought that was cool! They have many tables for seating inside and when you dine in and they also bring your food out to you. The employee who rang me up was very nice and was also the person who brought my good to me. I ordered the poke salad which was good. The poke was previously frozen but was thawed well and had a good flavor. The salad consisted of lettuce, spinach, cucumber, crispy wonton, topped with the poke. They had a wasabi mayo and sweet chili dressing which I didn't care for. I was hoping for some regular dressing which would have been wonderful. The greens were fresh and not wilted at all so that was a plus! The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and clean. I was sitting at the bar side and noticed the bartender was new. She was very nice, respectful, and professional. While I was waiting for my takeout order, a boy with long hair from the other side brought the food to her. He was extremely disrespectful toward her just because she didn't give him the ticket. Instead of yelling at her in front of customers, he should have taken her aside and explained things properly -- especially since she's new. His behavior made us uncomfortable, and it was clear she felt the same way. I wasn't going to leave a review, but after reading others, it's clear this has been an ongoing issue with that same person. I even tipped her extra for having to deal with that kind of treatment at work. It's disappointing that management allows someone with such an attitude to keep their job. I was craving a spicy ahi bowl, so since we were in the area, I decided to try out Ninja Sushi. I ordered their spicy ahi bowl for myself and a nigiri set for my husband. Ordering was quick and easy. The cashier was friendly and made substituting a fish for more salmon super easy. The wait for my food took no more then 5 minutes which was very pleasing to me. Spicy ahi bowl: the bowl itself looked appealing. It had like a pinch of ocean salad, which I do wish they added more then just a pinch. The spicy ahi was alright. I could tell it wasn't fresh, and some pieces were chewy. The spice level was good and I do love how there was a perfect amount of onions. All in all, I would rate the bowl 4/5. For our family's recent Easter celebration, we decided to bring a platter of sushi from Ninja Sushi in the Mililani Town Center in addition to our home made dishes. We chose the Ninja Deluxe Set which included 10 ahi, 5 salmon, 5 e-bike, 5 spicy ahi, 3 scallop mayo, 2 masago, 6 Shinko, and 6 ume cucumber sushi pieces for about $60. All were freshly made with quality ingredients. It was so good that my sister, her hubby, my brother and his son & girlfriend, all just about finished the appetizer platter before my younger brother and his wife arrived an hour later from Hawaii Kai. The staff is friendly, hard working crew behind. There's dining area in front, side, and closed off area on the back. This place is very spacious and can have little parties after COVID19. I ordered junior bread fish bento set to go for $6.25 like a ultra mini furukaki fish, mayo and another sauce on top with 1/2 cup rice, three tiny daikon sushi, and three cucumber sushi. This is not bad for the price. The fish is crunchy tasty with furukaki and richness of mayo. Rice is slightly sweet, but some mayo smeared all over. I'm saving the mini sushi's for later snack. Customer Service- Front of House-I called this evening at 6:34pm to place a take out order. I politely asked if they could make a platter because I know sometimes they require at least an hour to fulfill that type of order. Server on the line said, "Yeah, sure we can make it." I said, "Great! Could I place an order for ___ platter." Server says, "Oh, oh... hold on ok?" And places me on hold... however, I was not on hold. I could hear their entire conversation. ‍ Basically, the other person who overheard the order didn't want to make it. So while they're going back and forth on this... I'm listening in. Server replied to them, "I think she's just going to call back if I hang up." The other person says, "Just hang up." Needless to say, I did not call back and will not be patronizing this location again. I wouldn't have minded if they told me they couldn't take my order. Take-out The curry chicken donburi, was basically chicken karaage over rice with curry gravy poured over. The curry was slightly spicy, I liked it. Generous serving of rice and chicken, could use more of the curry, wish they poured extra curry over the rice too. I stopped eating half way through once I ran out of the curry. I went here to get their salmon skin. Didn't realize they had a whole restaurant and bar there. Initially went there to do a pick up order but decided to stay and eat and pick up my salmon skin when I was done. Bartender helped with our order. She just started working there so gave her the benefit of the doubt. Let talk about the take out order though. He must've been the guy that took my order and he came to my table and said I have to pay everything separate. Initially I asked if I could pay for my take out with my restaurant food. No problem, I'll come and pay when I'm done eating. He had this attitude like it was a problem for him. So I asked if he wants me to go pay it now and it won't be an issue. He said no. We'll finally went to the counter to pay. Two people in front of me, 5 people behind the counter. No workers acknowledge the customers. My turn now. Go to the same guy, he looks at me like he didn't see me 10 minutes ago. No hi how can I help you. Instead I tell him I'm there to pick up my salmon skin. Stares at me and say oh. Yeah. Customer service should be better. I deal with people so I know how hard it is to deal with some customers but we suck it up and be nice. And I KNOW I WAS NOT A PROBLEM CUSTOMER AT ALL.
