$60 late lunch for 3. Diners asked each other about the ages of their children. Steak ranchero comes with large tortillas so you can make a burrito. The table salsa is spicy, so watch for the chile seeds. Walk to the back and turn right (behind the kitchen) for the restrooms.

Not sure how this place could ever get a negative review. Service was quick even with it being half full. This was some of the best Mexican food I've had in a very long time, and the horchata was on point! This will be our pit stop everytime.

    Machaca con huevo plate

Came across this restaurant while temporarily working in King City. It's literally the best Mexican food I've had in years. Hosts and cooks make you feel welcome. I've been greeted with a smile every time I come in. I've tried different plates however I only took pictures of these 2. Mariscos are delicious with their own unique taste in the sauces. I tried an asada plate today and this was honestly the best asada I've had. The meat was arrachera and it is literally Grilled. Which is what "asada" means. Not your typical diesmillo cooked on a griddle which eventually boils instead of grilling. I tried machaca for the first time, which seems to be a dry beef mixed with veggies and eggs. Finger licking good!Atmosphere is very mellow, where you can enjoy good food and a good conversation with whoever accompanies you. No loud music like most other places. Drinks are served nice and cold! Definitely a 10/10 and a must try if you're in the area.

First time and it was really tasty. Food had great flavor and was fresh. Service was also great, and the restaurant was very clean.

Highly disappointed! I went through Yelp, TripAdvisor and Google reviews. I looked at photos, number of reviews, etc. So bummed. Friendly service, but the food was awful. The rice...never seen that on a Mexican restaurant...boiled rice with vegetables...not even rice pilaf. The beans tasted burnt. The enchilada sauce was pink...that's a first! And not much of it. Zero taste. The taco was stuffed with meat. It was the only decent item. Time to up their game!

Right off the bat the place is very small limited seating inside, but they did put a tarp outside for outdoor dinning. Place is very chill to hang out with friends or have a quick bite for lunch. The enchiladas were good but I feel they were missing something. I have yet to try other dishes in their menu. The drinks are another thing those are amazing. You're stuck in the hot king City weather come grab a Chelada to quench your thirst. . Restaurant provides great presentation of their plates and beverages. Sweet spot to stop by.

    Torre de mariscos, excellent

I was picking up some essentials and things at the local Safeway and asked one of the lovely ladies working there where is a couple good places to eat and she suggested this place and another one which is almost next store. This one had a photo of the Torre de Mariscos cocktail so I picked this location. Food came out super fast. Food is excellent too and enough to feed 2 people . You can tell it's a great place because of who eats here.

    Mango wine margarita

The carnitas were dry and way over cooked, and found some fish bone like stuff in my salad and the margarita glass was hard to handle due to the salt dripping sauce all over the glass and not tasty. No hominy in the menudo soup either. But the service was great and they did take off the carnitas platter off my ticket at my request. The waitress was very friendly and impressed me when she took the order of a table of 13 without writing anything down and getting it all right. I was surprised to see such a large group walk into such a small restaurant but she happily accommodated them and quickly arranged a long set of tables with a smile. I wish them the best.

Chicken soup was everything you'd want.

Holy Michelada my friend! This is one of many regional Mexican cuisines in our town of King City and has a party vibe inside and out. What nice folks! The carry-out trade was bustling but the owners took time to chat with everyone. Our server was gracious. The food- I am a taco lover-search them out. Their shrimp taco is the type made with the filling, then fried. A previous reviewer might not have had this type. It was crunchy, spicy, filled to the brim with flavorful shrimp. A house specialty. Plentiful portions, have some chicken soup here- very good- fun spot in town.

What an amazing gem this is in King City!! I was coming home from a camping trip in the area. I saw…read morethe reviews, the pictures and I had to try it!! This is one special family owned restaurant. The food is amazing!! The portions are plentiful and the flavors are divine. I was greeted upon entry by a very lovely young lady. She was very nice and provided excellent customer service. I had the bang bang shrimp appetizer and let me tell you....BANG BANG!!! The shrimps were large and in charge. I got at least 6, maybe 7 or 8. I tried to count afterwards, but I mangle my tails looking for all the shrimp meat!! They were so crispy and crunchy. Super fresh and uber delicious. BANG BANG says it all!!! A must have menu item if you love shrimp. I also had 2 of their signature surf n' turf tacos and they were very yummy. Every order that came out for other patrons looked delicious. Everyone had that whoa look on their face when their food arrived. I saw some great looking Michelada's come out with big shrimps on the rim!! They have a full bar as well and every table has a copy of today's newspaper...nice touch. Spectacular restaurant people!! The kind where foodies drive 40 minutes one way just to eat there, because Castro's Surf and Turf is an elite food experience!!

This was a pit stop before reaching the west entrance of Pinnacles NSP coming from the east…read moreentrance. Saw a lot of hype in the reviews and wanted to check it out. Ambiance: Walking in has the vibe similar to a sports bar but as a sit down restaurant that serves surf n turf. A wooden boat hanging up on the ceiling and themed with space & fishes. Service: The worker was nice, but the restaurant felt like it was understaffed. Surf and turf tacos $6.39 (3.5/5): If I'm being honest, as much as I wanted it to taste as good as the reviews say it is. It was good but not amazing nor bad. It had a good amount of asada and 2 fried shrimp with a tangy sauce. As I was eating it, it definitely needed more sauce, as the orange sauce was not enough. Had to use additional provided hot sauce. 2 is enough just to be kind of filling. All the hype in the reviews, it definetly does not live up to it at all. It's a good spot but not exactly amazing.
