Gorgeous goods ! Great service . Big , big new store just opened . Spacious and airy . Well made furnishings, displayed so artfully . They really offer a lot of services w drapery & upholstery . I love the tones and textures . Also , fabulous patio choices . Have to take some interior Picts . Mall fairly empty . People taking mask and social D seriously. Outdoor mall , only 1/3 of stores are open currently. Check it out !:)

This place is such a vibe. Wish you could do a reservation for more than 6 people. Would love to do a bigger work dinner here. The outside of the building is gorgeous and I literally see them taking the rocks outside every morning. Very well kept building.

#buyerbeware I am super annoyed with Restoration Hardware. After spending $3000 on a "solid wood" table, the top vener gummed up with regular wear and tear. I am so sad I didn't take a picture of that! It looked terrible, so we had to cover it with a table cloth. They would not replace it even though we notified them within 30 days of purchasing. They said it was not defective, but our fault for damaging the table. The problem was that the table continued to be damaged by just placing plates and utensils on it. They also recommended a repair kit, which we purchased, but was completely useless. So we decided to refinish it, Since we thought it was solid wood. We should have been able to stand down a layer or two and get to something that we could stain. Instead we spent hours of standing through multiple veneers to get through to the very last layer, which is pieces of plywood put together and not solid wood. I am super disappointed in Restoration Hardware because they are not an inexpensive brand and I thought they were higher quality, but clearly they are not. So frustrating. #restorationhardware #homeimprovement #refinishedfurniture

Every item I've ordered from them is delayed, by months. Overpriced. Well-made, but a bitter process

I was looking for new rubber gromets for a Pedal Steel volume pedal…read more I approached the desk & found Mike Rast working with another customer. Normally I'd go hunting myself but decided to wait. When he finished I showed him the volume pedal he immediately took interest & instead of directing to what looks like hundred of draws holding screws & gromets he took the pedal & I followed. He then fit the pedal with the right gromets within 5-10 mins which would have taken me a hour & I'd probably have wrong fit. Good service is hard to find these days but great service is rarely seen! Hats of to Mike Rast for making my day. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

We had 2 questions , how much was it and did it come in other finishes. The "faucet guy" brought us over to the customer service counter and stated to look up the item we were interested in buying. He had just started his query when another employee walked up and "faucet guy" stopped working on our question and got into a long discussion about what he wanted. The 2nd guy left and the "faucet guy went back to his computer to answer our question. Two minutes later another employee asked him for help on her computer. "Faucet guy" stopped helping us and went over to help his coworker. After several minutes he returned to us but was again interrupted by his coworker for hep with another customer. Once again he stopped helping us and went to her assistance. Now 15 minutes had passed and we still had no answer to our questions. We finally decided to heck with it and left. "Faucet guy" was still busy helping his associate with her customer. We went home found what we wanted on line at Amazon, got it cheaper and had it show up in 24 hours. If Jackson wants to keep in business they need to teach staff to handle one customer at a time. We will never go back.

I'll have an irritating experience so will avoid going there for a while, then there'll be something I need in the middle of a project and I'll decide to try again. Part of the problem is the store has limited stock and because of the small size, things are sometimes not easy to access or find- like up on the top of shelves so you need to get help to even see what they have. I will say they seem to have done re-organization and the layout seems a bit better- also the nursery has gotten better recently (plants look better and prices are easier to identify). Maybe just bad luck but today I needed a few spring planting items that I was pretty sure they carried. It turned out they were out of both of the products but I found substitutes that could work- especially since I didn't want to drive to Novato or downtown San Rafael. When I went to pay, after standing in a long line, I found the total came over $5 more than the shelf tags indicated and also they didn't accept the Ace Hardware gift certificate I planned to use towards my purchase so I cancelled the transaction. While I would love to shop locally, both for the convenience and to keep money in my community it's not worth the potential for frustration so will continue to go to Pini or the Chase locations for my hardware purchases

Enter Duke's Hardware. This seemingly small hardware store tucked in between a phalanx of Chinese restaurants on Noriega will usually have just what you need without having to make that big drive out of town to Daly City or Colma. The aisles are stocked HIGH into the ceiling with tools, light bulbs and other essentials, with a bonus second story alcove with plenty of basic plumbing supplies and tools tucked way in the back. Yes, you do pay a buck or two more per item here vs. the big box stores, but it saves me time and hassle in those busy busy days where you just need to fix something right NOW. PRO TIP: Get here before 9am for easy effortless FREE angle parking right out in front. Accessible by MUNI bus line too right out in front. Verdict: This little hardware store punches well beyond its weight in getting you what you need. Yes, they do keys here too. Friendly folks you will find here right as you come in!

My family has been been doing business Ace/Pini hardware ever since it was on Grant Avenue, Novato . The customer service has never changed since I was in my teens and now in my 60s. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful on DIY projects. When entering, I'm always, ALWAYS greeted by an associate and asked if there's something he/she can help me do, explain and or find. It's my humble opinion that this is one of the best Customer service examples in the industry. Thank you, Pini Hardware!!!

I specifically pointed out the clip issue when I brought it in originally and the kid apparently didn't pay attention, nor did they probably compare the old screen which I actually left with them, but is now disposed of. When I went in to speak to a manager they were kind of quick to offer a refund to get me out of there. To be fair they would need me to leave the screen, but I don't exactly want them to give me another screen that won't fit where the reference is disposed of - what will I do then? I just don't trust the Novato store and will have the San Rafael Chase store re-screen one and create duplicates. I said as much and they said nothing to reassure me. I want to point out a couple of things with the reply on Google reviews, supposedly by the owner. Why is there any kind of reply when the original was a rating with no review? Just for the 5 stars? When someone mentiones something specific they say to email and then when people say nothing they are busy celebrating. And of course they don't do that here, I guess Yelp users don't count even though it doesn't have the link that says claim this listing, they just ignore this site. And for those who had a key issue, I think that generic reply to email the company for training purposes is ridiculous. In this case the manager I spoke to could have said they would look at the situation to ensure it doesn't happen again, I am right there so that could be addressed before I go online to write this review, but it doesn't look like they care and just said "I don't know what happened" and most likely want to get rid of the customer. The "email us" reply is what big companies do who want to project an impression that they are responsive when they are not really. I don't buy it. Growing up in Novato I had the image that Pini is a nice local business that care about what they do, I don't believe that anymore. I'd like to support local business but not so much when I don't feel like they care about supporting me. The customer is not paid to do training. Why does it require a separate email taking our time when we already wrote detailed information in the review?
