They truly practice ahimsa here and I quickly felt part of their little family. I especially love the dharma yoga and the restorative classes. Each teacher is talented and inspires me everyday! Rob has a very kind heart and encourages me to be more devotional in and out of my yoga mat. Zhara helps me to bring my drishti inwards and go deeper into my poses, as the weeks have passed by I have been impressed by how I show up on my mat compared to day 1 . Zoey does a very beautiful evening restorative class where we sing together and she is always sharing the new things she's learned about the body, sleep and our well being . Kaitlyn does this wonderful gentle vinyasa class that is perfect to do on Friday mornings and helps me restore. She directs us to move parts of our body's with some gentle stretching that feels so much needed. I haven't yet tried a class by Martha due to my work scheduale but I will be looking forward too when I have the opportunity to! I recently met her and she is so lovely! Everyday I am excited and look forward to be at YoS! Om

The thing is though, it's SO MUCH MORE than just a place to do yoga. This is NOT your run of the mill gym yoga studio, where you do 10-30 poses and stretches then leave, it's a place you can go to honor and treat yourself to some dedicated self care and also become part of a very authentic supportive community if you so desire. Not only is the studio perfectly put together with attention to detail in ambiance, but they also offer all of the props and tools you may need for class. It's been a place that I've been able to find sanctuary, peace and space to have time for myself to fortify, strengthen and love on myself -- A place I can fill my own cup so that I can go back and help others in my life too. The instructors are wonderful humans and this place is so so special. With regular yin, restorative and sound baths, this yoga studio (for me) continues to be a place of healing and growth and I often leave feeling like I'm walking on a cloud! I hope it can be that for you too!

This studio is intentionally designed to help you adapt, expand, and feel more alive. One of my favorite studio experiences so far. I genuinely did not want to leave! The Philosophy & First Impression: Before my first visit, I received a welcome video explaining the studio's philosophy: Using breath and hormetic stress (heat, cold, & movement) to grow stronger, healthier, and happier together. Their belief is simple & powerful, "When you take control of your breath, you take charge of your life." When I pulled into the parking lot, I could hear a man inside calling out, "Breathe in... let it go. Breathe in... let it go." (It seriously felt like the building was breathing.) The Space: I was warmly welcomed by staff who helped me check in, sign a waiver, and gave me a wristband and a full tour. The studio includes: a sauna; a cold plunge room; a yoga room; an AQUATru filtered water station; cubbies, dressing rooms, and a bathroom; and a lounge room with an educational video on their method The Class (Vinyasa Flow & Breath 90): The yoga room was arranged in a circular formation, so we faced one another, creating a shared presence & community. The class itself was an intermediate, heated power vinyasa with a smooth, steady breath-to-movement flow. Wendi cued in Sanskrit followed by English and layered in breath cues and gentle inward-turning suggestions in grounded poses. After a steady standing series, we moved into deep stretching and incredible twisting and detoxifying poses on the ground. The Breathwork Experience: After yoga, we were guided onto our backs with padded eye masks waiting for us. Wendi led us through three rounds of open-mouth inhales and exhales ("Breathe in, let it go"), followed by Mula Bandha and long-breath holds. During one of the holds, I received a neck and shoulder massage with peppermint oil, and I could feel the cooling, soothing effect immediately. The third round was the most powerful, with reminders that our bodies were fully oxygenated. After the final exhale, we were released into savasana. Wendi closed with a beautiful reflection about looking back on our day, our week, our month, our life and saying, "It was a wild and wonderful ride," which perfectly described the whole experience. The Teacher: Wendi was incredibly welcoming, thorough, and present. She took time one-on-one beforehand to explain and demonstrate the breathwork, which is essential for a sense of safety. After class, she stayed to connect personally and encouraged me to explore the sauna and cold plunge. She definitely holds a grounded, confident, and supportive container. The Sauna & Community Vibe: (I forgot a bathing suit for the cold plunge, but I spent time in the sauna.) It was a warm, social gathering space where the energy of the class naturally flowed in. People were connecting, chatting, and relaxing together. It felt like a communal ritual space. Overall Experience: This studio has so much to offer! The integration of breathwork, yoga, heat, cold, and education is genuinely thoughtful (not trendy). It was such a pleasure to experience Breathe Degrees. This is a must for any yoga enthusiast! Practical Note: First-timers must arrive 15 minutes early, no exceptions. This studio prioritizes safety and intentionality.

I needed to find someone to teach me how to lift weights in a non-intimidating way and in a non-intimidating environment. Insert Coach Berry! I'm so lucky to have found him. First, the coaching model he has set up accommodates clients with the most challenging schedules. There's really no excuse for not being able to show up for your workout due to scheduling because there's no appointment necessary. You show up during the gym hours - he will be there to walk you through. His hours are early in the morning until 7pm at night. He is encouraging, motivating, funny, and truly cares about each and every one of his clients. He wants you to succeed. Coach Berry has been doing this for 30 plus years with returning clients who end up bringing their friends. I cannot believe my transformation. It's all about consistency and making exercise a way of life. I have never dreamed that I would walk on the iconic Muscle Beach stage on Venice Beach for the Vintage category competition at age 54. I took third place against women 15 to 20 years younger (I swear this gym is the fountain of youth). I credit Coach Berry for keeping my eye on the ball and pushing me to be my best, mentally and physically.
