The good - the two guys sent out to pick up 2 pieces of furniture did their job well The bad - Salvation Army contracted with Resupply to pick up 2 pieces of furniture & transport to Salinas Salvation Army for about $153. It looks like Resupply sub-contracted with a Junk Hauler. When the Junk Hauler guys arrived, their manager jacked up the charge with a disassembly charge (not needed), a stairway charge (they used the elevator), additional transportation because they said they were taking the furniture to Habitat for Humanity in Santa Cruz (not Salvation Army Salinas), & a "recycle fee" for the furniture that we donated to be resold. They contacted their "Manager" who set the price. It was take it or leave it. This is a strongarm tactic that left us no choice but to pay the inflated $333.94 fee. I don't want to ever deal with Salvation Army, Resupply, or a Junk Hauler again. read more

The pick up was a total disaster. It was scheduled two days in advance and we received several texts and emails every day leading up to the pick up confirming a morning window. The confirmations included a license plate., so it all seemed legit. On the day of the pick up, less than thirty minutes before the end of the window, the driver texted asking for pictures of the items to be picked up. The initial booking and subsequent confirmations included details on the two items. Instead of apologizing for missing g the pick up window, the driver changed the window. When we asked why he hadn't notified us earlier, he said that he was too busy. Then the company cancelled the pick up altogether without notifying us. We found two other services that were cheaper and picked up within two hours of booking. DO NOT USE THIS ORGANIZATION. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

A very frustrating experience!!! I booked a reservation almost two weeks from our move-out date in June 2025. My reservation was canceled the day before the scheduled donation pickup, a week before our move-out date, but the ReSupply team was non-responsive on rescheduling even though I replied with a few new rescheduling dates. I sent two emails and made two phone calls, leaving multiple voicemails. 3 business days go by without any sort of status or communication on how to proceed with a new pickup date. We were on a tight schedule for moving. Unfortunately, and a large burden on me, I had to find my own way to get our furniture donated through Facebook Marketplace. Consequently, ReSupply "service" was not as advertised. FINALLY, after using a 3rd communication method, via text, I finally got someone to simply cancel my reservation and refund my $10 reservation fee. Unless you are not on a timeline or have unlimited patience with last-minute cancellation(s) and zero communication or status, do not use ReSupply. I wanna change my review of resupply. I was quite annoyed when they were supposed to come and pick up some furniture from Me one piece being a sofa bed and the driver said they were not allowed to take sofa beds. I was annoyed because three receptionist had told me that was OK I have to say their follow up is just excellent. I got a call today apologizing for being so late and replying to my feedback but then saying that it was the drivers that were wrong and not the receptionist and they do take alphabets. They also offered me a $200 refund on what I had spent so I think when a company owns up to their mistakes and make up for them you have to give the company a lot of credit. read more

Horrible! I placed an online order 2 weeks before my move indicating what items needed to be picked up. I received a price and a confirmation. The morning of the pick up I received a text saying that they were reviewing the order and realized they did not charge me correctly-I said ok so I will pay the higher price (I needed to get the items out of my apartment that day and was really in bind). We decided to sell our home and move south from Connecticut to Florida. Our plans did not include a lot of our furniture since our new home would be less than a third of the home we currently lived in. We used Restore for many of our donations. I delivered many of our donations in my SUV but when it came to the furniture, I couldn't. We called Restore and set up a pickup time with them. They gave me a window of time when they would arrive for the pick up. The driver called to let me know he was on his way. The two guys were very friendly, respectful and professional. They loaded up our donations in very short order. I truly appreciate how easy it was to schedule a pickup up and then have two people show up that did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Restore. ReSupply's estimation tool for picking up and hauling furniture items to Habitat for Humanity is way off! When they came to pick up my 13 furniture items, the cost they calculated was more than double what they originally estimated...and it sounded like they would junk the items, more than donate them, at Habitat for Humanity. In my opinion, better to have a yard sale, or have Livermore Sanitation pick items up for free over time, to dispose. It really wasn't worth trying to donate old furniture to Habitat for Humanity, when ReSupply is charging double to haul it, then dump it anyway. :( read more

We carefully declared each item to be picked up on ReSupply's, order form, stated the floor, stated that there was an elevator. The crew (uncouth and discourteous) demanded a price that was far in excess of what ReSupply's website had estimated ("we have to add an elevator fee, we have to add disposal fees") even though there were fewer items than I had declared. ReSupply's customer service was not available; the pick-up was canceled. Be forewarned: Resupply does not supply any services, it merely farms the job out to third-party companies who, like other junk haulers, set their own terms and demand extortion-level prices ($305 for what would fit in my car trunk?) read more

This company uses 3rd parties for furniture pickup. Even though my appointment was confirmed with ReSupply, they never received confirmation from the hauler so nobody showed up. I rescheduled with ReSupply, received confirmation that my pickup would proceed on a different day, and again nobody showed up because their hauler did not confirm the appointment. While the men that came to the pick-up were very nice and came on time, I would not use them again. I felt mislead as to the cost of the donation we wanted picked up. They charge an $80 recycle fee if Goodwill doesn't take it and the guys were sure Goodwill would except it and we would be refunded the whole recycle fee. After they had hauled away the item I was told that Goodwill would not take our sectional (which had no stains, rips or damage of any kind, so find it hard to believe it was unacceptable) and $20 was refunded as apparently the dump only charged them $60). Did not know about this recycle fee until they were already at the house and the couch was on the truck. Instead of expected $129 fee it was just shy of $200. Felt scammed and trapped into letting them haul away the couch. Also they backed into our driveway taking out a huge limb from a tree, which we had to spend almost an hour cleaning up the mess: sawing it into logs and disposing of the logs and all the branches and leaves. read more

We hired ReSupply to pick up 4 large items, 7 medium sized items, and 1 small item, everything was quoted at $365 with $26 reservation fee. They then told us the movers would assess the cost of our items and let us know the actual price. When the movers arrived they quoted us $1200 to move everything and to dump it, even though it was marked as donations. They wanted to quote us for everything being an extra large item, and that what we had paid would barely cover the cost of 1 item. If we had known the price we would have had to pay earlier, we wouldn't have wasted our time with ReSupply. We contacted a supervisor who wasn't helpful. They said we had to pay a convenience fee to move all our items and that we didn't classify them correctly. As per their website we followed what would be considered a small/medium/large item. The manager still claimed we filled the information on their website wrong and the price would be adjusted. As this was happening the movers supervisor called them and we could hear them talking about how much they had to convince us in the next 10 minutes so they could charge us everything. We had to firmly state we were cancelling our order and would figure something out ourselves. We then had to urge the movers to leave before their supposed 10 minutes since we were no longer interested in their services. Don't waste your time using ReSupply!!! We wish we would have read reviews before wasting our time. If we had the option, we would give them 0 stars. read more

The short: don't use them; they don't fulfill their promised services, your donations won't make it to people in need, and it's a super frustrating process. The long: I'm so sad to share this is the company that Goodwill uses (and I recommend stops using ASAP) for donations. They gave me a delivery window and let me know last-minute that they couldn't come get my donation. I rescheduled but was moving across the country, so had very limited time. They missed the new window again and were super unhelpful, and I was so sad to see hundreds of dollars of things go to the dump instead (I lived in NYC, so unless you use a donation service, the items get thrown out unfortunately). People who really needed those things could've used them, and it's such a bummer to see. They also don't respond until your window is up on purpose. Sadly, I recommend donating elsewhere if a company uses this company to do donation pickups because your donations aren't going to make it to the people who need them and it's a really frustrating process. read more

Was originally quoted a reasonable price, then upon arrival of pickup, was told that the item didn't meet a standard of quality for resale. No mentions of anything like this on their site. Also this item was in very serviceable condition. They just saw an opportunity to charge me an extra $200 disposal fee instead of a "resale" fee. Cost me $500. The man screamed at his son the entire time they were in our house. They broke the five wardrobes they were to bring up from the basement. They broke the ceiling lightbulb with the base stuck in the fixture and didn't even have the decency to tell me that they had broken it. Reading the other reviews - it is clear that people do not understand the donation process through ReSupply. I found the website to be clear and upfront regarding the process, the cost, and service expectations. Think about this before booking: the fee covers the time and efforts of the local movers who save you the hassle of renting a truck, handcart, and soliciting assistance from friends who may or may not end up being helpful... Not to mention the time waiting in any donation line (which these days can be quite long). After using several other local companies directly for furniture or trash removal, I recently decided to donate a washer/dryer and bedframe to Habitat. Each time I pay for removal by a company, pick up rates begin around $200. ReSupply not only quoted me less than that, the final cost of service was actually less than I expected. If anything, it was great knowing roughly how much it was going to cost rather than being blindsided in the moment as I have been in the past. Scheduled my appointment late on a Monday for next day. Well, the guys were communicative, gave me a solid timeframe, showed up during the stated timeframe, and were extremely thoughtful. Despite my living down a long hallway with many narrow turns, the guys made it seem like it was no big deal and did not damage anything in the process. I received my donation receipt quickly and without issue. Just because you're donating something it doesn't mean the efforts of others to assist in that donation can or will be free. Habitat, Goodwill, and other charities would lose money if they had to pay out of pocket for our stuff. Pretty clear to me! They didn't contact me to say there was a problem. After numerous attempts I finally got someone to respond. I agreed to reschedule for the next day at the same time. Again, they didn't show up. At 5pm someone responded by text that they did not have anyone available for my area today.
