Recently, I dropped my membership. You might ask, WHY? The pool and hot tub closed for weeks due to poor water management. Machines were shut down because they required repair and were not fixed in a timely manner. The eight showers were never all working at the same time and the air conditioning broke during the summer. These are the major reasons I gave up my membership but I could get picky and list more. Since I have joined Planet Fitness, their machines are all functioning. Most machines are relatively new. Patrons disinfect the apparatus after use which shocked me. The members are very respectful of others. The members for the most part do not sit on the machines with their Iphones. If you are not using the machine get off it. The gym is cleaned on a regular basis with numerous garbage cans throughout. You won't find litter on the floor. This gym is worlds apart from my LA Fitness experience. Thank God some people know how to run a gym.

Hope has done nothing but ensure that my priorities are met and always takes the time to hear me out and make me feel a lot better! As for their customer service, I always go to Chris for an issue, one of the operations manager of the gym. I have had concerns this past year in regards to the cleanliness of the establishment and he has always made sure my needs are met. His other instructor, Kate, has classes that are similar but mix is different: more aerobic and with strength mixed in. What I like is coed group classes are scheduled daily, last 1 hour, and always intense. Sometimes I learn new muscle groups I didn't know I had :) Each day's routine barely repeats from a prior day so never boring. The workout begins with a warmup followed by about 8 exercise routines. Repeat those exercises as many times as you can in 1 hour. Target is about three cycles. I generally complete 1 1/2 - 2 sets. Joe' routines emphasize modest weights with repetition, stretch, balance, and good technique. He spots when a particular exercise is unsuitable for me, and suggests something else without losing the pace of the workout. I value the personal attention in a group setting that keeps cost down. Clientele is mostly female, older Generation Z and Millennials of all ages. Male and female, every age, and all degrees of fitness are welcome. Clientele is generally serious about being there. Gym is clean. And classes start and end on time. You don't make an appointment to be in a class. I recommend Joe and JD Core Training.

Almost immediately, she would not stop raving about how much it was helping her feel physically and mentally, and how much improvement she saw day by day. Needless to say, I had to try it! I had doubts, but these immediately went away after the first five minutes. I have been working out daily for the past few years (cardio, light gym machine weights, videos), but have never done heavy weight training or been an athlete. Exit 153 Crossfit immediately took away any doubts I had and I am thrilled to be a member. The coaches here really take the time to help each individual learn proper form and build up physical strength and the mental mindset. I also can't speak to the prices, as I didn't have to pay for anything. The lounge/waiting area was large with plenty of seating. The courts played really nicely. They weren't too fast like many indoor courts can be. They felt like true outdoor hard courts. I had to knock off a star because the instructor who was using the court after is was pretty rude. In all the years I've been playing in indoor league, it was always understood that when your time is up, you can finish the current game, and the move off the court. This guy was not only forcing us off in the middle of a game (fine, if times up times up, courtesy be dammed), but he got upset that we were taking too long to pack up our stuff and leave the area (I've never had anyone complain about people packing up their stuff by the benches before!) All in all it was a nice experience.
