I decided to edit my review again. This place is just way too inconsistent. Last week I had a terrible manicure. She was done in 15 minutes and the polish was snapped on. These girls are great! I recently moved about 3 blocks away and I had walked by on several occasions before actually scheduling a no chip. It's always got a steady flow of customers and it looks cute as a button even from the outside. I scheduled a no chip on Halloween and when I walked in, I was immediately at ease. Sometimes, when you pick a new nail salon, the first impression is a lasting one. Dirty, poorly maintained shops are tough for me to get over, regardless of the quality of work. These girls keep their shop impeccably clean and fresh looking. The chairs are super comfortable and everyone I encountered was extremely chatty and just a joy. The girl who did my nails was sweet as pie, we chatted just a little bit, and she did such an incredible job on my nails. Afterwards, she massaged my hands for a solid 5 minutes, it was heaven. I know it doesn't sound like a long time to non-mani folks but it feels like an eternity when you're getting your nails did. I'll be back for my pedi this weekend. This was my go to place for a while but the service has recently gone downhill. I got a eye brow wax and ended up having some scabs afterwards. Then, at my most recent visit I got my dipped nail manicure removed. The nail technician slipped when removing polish and not only hurt my nail but I had a big gouge out of my cuticle and was bleeding. Ouch. They gave me the removal free but it is not worth the pain that is inflicted on you. read more

Staff is all so nice and helpful, I had not really thought much about what colors I wanted and got great suggestions from Linda (which I took, cause I trust professionals when they recommend something!) I will preface this by saying my nails look good. I got a gel manicure and it looks good on the surface. This was my first time trying revamp on the recommendation of a friend and I got a terrible infection in my middle finger (I get many manicures and this has never happened before). The nail tech cut my cuticles very vigorously so I think either this is why or maybe the tools weren't sterilized. I paid 4o bucks for the manicure and now I'll have ti pay more at the urgent care clinic so they can tell me I need antibiotics! Won't be going back and will spare you a photo :( read more

I've been to many nail salons and I think I found the one! I love this place!!! The girl that did my no chip and pedi her name is Amy! She was wonderful. She took her time and she don't rush you. Other places they do half ass jobs just to rush you out. She even help you pick out your color. She did a very good job! She is so friendly. I love her! This is my go-to nail place. They're very clean and I like the atmosphere. It's BYOB, which is fun solo (why not bring a single can for your pedi) or with a group. The staff are always pleasant. It is clearly a neighborhood favorite because it can be tricky to get in at times. I'd always recommend making an appointment, even if it's 15 minutes before, or you might not get in. I can't speak to all of their services because I've only ever gotten manis and pedis. But if those two services are any indication I'd say it's safe bet they'll do quality work. read more

Ok so I read reviews and that's how I ended up here. Now although they are nice I don't like wasting my money. My nails have not lasted even a full week and I'm not happy with that. I got dip nails for the first time and a no chip pedicure. Both are now jacked up looking! I paid over $100 dollars, plus tip because they took off the nails I previously had on. My nails I noticed while she was doing them some were bumpy and she had to re-dip them and I'm thinking ok...I know this is my first time getting dipped nails and they shouldn't look like this. Furthermore I don't feel like I should have to let you know they look bumpy looking if this is what you do. Any way one nail has popped of. The other nails the top coat has peeled off to no end, and now the nails feel rough. My no chip pedicure has peeled off. WTH! I'm not a happy camper and will not be returning especially paying over a $100 dollars. I will give any place a try and sometimes a re-do but this will not be happening here! A++++++ This place had me when I read the little plaque above the hand washing sink, "Behind every successful woman is herself". Independent Women of Yelp, you know this is true. What else can I say? Friendly, professional, super cute decor, they do a great job, awesome location, good pricing, great polish selection, everything is the best. Except their bathroom, I recommend avoiding that if you can. Its shared with the building and not as cute as Revamp. One of the technicians even custom mixed two shades together to give me the perfect pink toes when one time she didn't think I chose the correct color for my skin tone. I came in today for a no chip and picked out a very dark (almost black) glittery purple color. As the technician started painting the color on, I noticed that it looked a lot lighter and more red/pink than the color I picked out. I politely asked her if maybe she had mixed up the color, and she essentially just dismissed me and told me no this is this right color. I thought who knows maybe it will look different after a few coats, so I just shut my mouth. But sure enough, when she finished the manicure my nails were bright red. Unmistakably NOT the dark purple color I picked. I let both her as well as the woman at the cash register know that they might want to double check if some of their colors are mislabeled because I clearly got the wrong color. Both of them essentially just ignored me. As I was walking out the door the technician gave me a faint, half-hearted "sorry." If they had truly owned up to the mistake, apologized, and offered to give me my next manicure for free or discounted, I would absolutely keep coming here. Other than the color being wrong, the quality of the manicure is actually very nice, and I understand that even great businesses will make mistakes sometimes. But the way they handled the mistake was incredibly unprofessional and aggravating, and I do not want to support a business that doesn't practice basic customer service. read more

When I arrived i was greeted by who I assume was the owner and she was really nice and quick to get someone to do my nails. When the girl got there she seemed nice and immediately started working on my nails. Although before she started painting them she said I should pay before she finished my nails. I was surprised by this and I said I will pay later though she insisted so I did. She asked how much I was not gonna leave a tip on my card because I like leaving tips as cas h plus I want to see the work she does on my nails, so she went ahead to charge me. After she was done painting my nails, I followed her to the doing area. Then I noticed my nails were painted really patchy. I was so upset because I had paid $15 for a mani which is pricey. I'm very disappointed because this used to be my favorite and go-to place for years, but the last several times I've gone in the quality has really gone down. It seems like it's been going down more and more since it changed ownership. The last time I went in with my boyfriend's mom and they didn't even push back her cuticles at all. I think the woman that was doing her pedicure had never done one before and she kept asking the woman who was doing mine what to do. But she completely skipped the cuticles. They raised their prices, which I understand during these times, but I basically paid $40 for a polish change. Unacceptable. I'm sad to say that I have to find a new place. read more

I was looking for a place nearby my boyfriends apartment to get a quick no chip because my nails were in great need of one. This one was a bit of a drive from his place but it had awesome reviews. Well, the reviews were correct. I didn't get the name of my manicurist but she did an amazing job. My nails were very well taken care of and she made sure she cleaned up any gel polish that may have gotten on my skin. The place looked very sleek, modern and fresh. It was so much different than other nail salons I've been too. They try to make a conversation with you as opposed to talking to each other or being on the phone. They take their time getting to know you as well as getting your nails looking as good as possible. Also, my boyfriend got a pedicure and said his feet felt like they were "on clouds" after (mind you he has messed up feet lol). It was reasonably priced for the great service. Really great experience for my first manicure! I had intended to come in before an interview for a job yesterday, but instead went in after the interview as a way to relax and treat myself. A friend had been in here a few weeks ago before an interview SHE had, so I figured I'd give it a shot! Wonderful experience with no wait time (my friend had 30 minutes, and some people came in with 10 minutes so it depends, but isn't long!), and I had Lynda do a french manicure for me. If you have a specific colour in mind, there's a whole wall with nailpolish you can chose from. She removed my previous polish, treated my nail beds quickly and efficiently, provided a hand and forearm massage to relax and rejuvenate muscles, and I didn't even realize that my hands were tense before she pointed it out! At that point I could put my coat on or not, but I decided not to, made the payment, then the manicure began! Very quick, professional, neat and beautiful shaping and painting! Drying didn't take too long and then I was off! I walked in at 7:30 on a Tuesday night, a half hour before closing, to hopefully get a no-chip mani and pedi. Lynda sweetly greeted me and said that she could do one or the other, since they were about to close. Completely understandable--it was my own fault (and my regular place wasn't answering the phone, so I had to hop on Yelp to find a different place). I opted for a no-chip. I asked Lily, who was working on my nails, if she'd be so kind to remove my current toe polish so I could at least do my own nails later without exposing my new mani to acetone. Doesn't hurt to ask, right? Well, she ended up doing a quick polish change on me even though it was well after closing. I'm blown away by how kindly I was treated. Additionally, Lynda came and introduced herself to me since I'm a first-timer and made me feel like I've been coming for years. I also want to point out that I was being picky about which brand of polish I like and what color I want in the no-chip, and they were so accommodating to ensure I'd have exactly what I wanted. I apologized for being a pain in the ass and they assured me I wasn't. I hope not! I am seconding every other reviewer who commented on how nice Lynda and her staff are. I came here with my cousin for her birthday celebration before going out. We both had our appointments (no chip manis) at 11am and had them done at the same time. I do wanna start off by mentioning how grateful I am for having such a friendly receptionist and the cleanliness of the facility. What I do find off is that our manicure took 30 mins when no chip usually takes an hour. I do appreciate that they were considerate of our time but you could definitely tell that they didn't take long on our nails. I chose two colors, one of them being sparkly. The nail polish that the technician put on my ring finger was not even the one I chose. I had realized this after she already put on the second coat... I didn't wanna be "one of those customers" but I did mention to her that it was not what I chose. She said "I'm so sorry... we put the sample but we don't have the actual nail polish yet" and didn't offer to fix the situation in any way. Another thing, my cousin and I spoke Russian the entire time and I did say couple of times that I wasn't satisfied. It turns out my technician understands Russian so if that's the case, why did she not stop and offer to redo it or ask if I wanted to do another color? Anyway, I'm not upset, I would definitely come back and give it another try but I really think she should have done something in that situation especially after I spoke up. A lot of times I'll call to make an appointment at a nail salon and they just want the business so bad they say "ok. Come at noon" and I don't get helped until well beyond that time. Not here! I was very disappointed with my experience with ReVamp. I have had a few good experiences at ReVamp, so I took a group of friends there for manicures and pedicures. Despite making an appointment for 5 a week in advance, we waited 40 minutes after our scheduled time to even get started. Once we were seated to get our pedicures, one of the nail stylists reprimanded one of my friends for having nail polish on her nails and toes and the stylist wasn't able to get all the nail polish off my friends nails! Another nail stylist yelled at another friend of mine because some of her nails were shorter than others. The nail stylist cut off my friends longer nails, insisting that the nails needed to be even, even though my friend said she would prefer her not to. I am not sure if ReVamp has new management, I never had problems going to this salon before, but now, because of this awful experience, they have lost a loyal customer. read more

I've been a few times and the service is usually pretty good and the place is clean though does often seem somewhat messy in the back. However the last two times I've gotten a no-chip manicure, it chipped in less than a week. That's just not worth it to me when a no-chip should last at least one week.
