Reve has quickly become my go-to coffeeshop in the neighborhood. I am so glad we finally have a local coffeeshop in the area. They have definitely worked out some of their kinks from when they first opened. I love the unique coffee and tea drink choices and that they offer unique tea drinks for those who don't drink coffee. I highly recommend their Voodoo Elixir! It's a delicious coffee drink with cold brew, local honey, warm spices, and goat milk, but I recommend it with oat milk. I have gotten several of my friends addicted to this drink as well - it's a must have! Their seasonal drinks area always fun and unique as well. I can't wait to try the "Cereal Killer" soon. Another great thing about Reve is that it's a "full service" coffeeshop. You can visit early in the morning at 6:30, come for lunch, happy hour, or a nightcap. Their extended hours are super convenient for my work schedule. They even offer Sunday brunch now as well. I have been really enjoying their delicious pastries. For breakfast, I recommend the bacon/egg pastry. If you visit on a day when they have the brownie, you must get it! It's the fudgiest, most delicious brownie around. The environment is gorgeous. I love that they have indoor and outdoor seating options. It's a great place to study and enjoy a delicious drink and bite to eat. I always feel relaxed here even when I have to work! Tried the vanilla latte and their banana brownie. The vanilla latte had a sour taste to it, tasted like milk poured over stale drip coffee with half a spoon of vanilla flavoring. The banana brownie had a flavorful taste at first but quickly turned into a flour taste, basically poorly baked cake with overwhelming banana frosting. Overall disappointed and confused how this place has 4 stars. Service and interior was okay. Price came out to $17 for two lattes and the brownie. read more

Neat find! A bit far out for me but was very convenient when I stopped into the Louisiana Nursery to plant shop and then needed to caffeinate. Nice inviting space and great drink selection. They have house made syrups--I tried the vanilla and thought it was really good. I've been to the location in Lafayette so I'm glad there's one in BR to enjoy! read more

Small café with great customer service. I've only been in the morning so I can't say if it's a great place to work or study because of the noise level. I had a seasonal coffee blend and the breakfast biscuit, both were good. ($17) total read more

Reve is by far my favorite coffee shop in Baton Rouge, and I've tried a lot of coffee shops! The baristas and other staff are so welcoming and they always remember me when I come in. I appreciate that the dining area is always clean, and I always find a spot to sit inside or outside. The drinks are wonderful (I wish I could give a bonus star for not up-charging alternative milks!) and so are the pastries. There are vegan options every day which is rare for most coffee shops in Baton Rouge, and I love that the offerings vary by season so I can try something new. I am never bored by anything served here. Reve is also a decent spot to get work done- especially in the middle of the week during the day. Weekends can be pretty crowded and noisy. The happy hour is lovely and the cocktails I've tried are all fantastic. A solid place all around. read more

My favorite local coffee shop! They're super close to my apartment so I'll visit every now and then. They have very interesting coffee drinks as well as craft cocktails. I've been a few times for food and it was delicious. This is a tiny place so it gets kinda packed on weekends but there is additional seating on their patio! Also, the service is efficient and friendly. I recommend this place to people all the time. read more

Great spot for coffee and all its amazing forms. Reve offers quite the array of choices from brewed coffee, iced cold brew, unique iced and hot teas as well as lite lunch fare and in house baked treats. Reve is much like it's counter part in Lafayette in as far as it's often busy and bustling but also has comfortable spaces both inside and outside to study, read or just catch up with friends. read more

Reve is the perfect coffee shop. The food, pastries, gelato, and drinks are all perfection. I don't think I've had a single bad experience and I've been going frequently once I found this place. The drink selection is great. If you're a die-hard coffee fan then you're going to have a hard time choosing because each drink is perfectly prepared. Luckily you cannot go wrong with anything you pick. Even if you don't like coffee, they have a lot of delicious tea as well. As someone who has only recently begun to enjoy coffee, I really appreciate good tea. And do not skip out on the breakfast or lunch. The turkey sandwich seems simple but it's so delicious. The bread is toasted perfectly. The addition of the pesto to dip it in is so nice. I love how the pastries rotate daily. I always pray that they have something delicious and familiar that I've already had, but at the same time I hope they have something new for me to try. I've had a pancetta and gruyère pastry that nearly brought me to tears while I was eating it in my car while driving away. Seriously, it was so very good! Buttery and delicious...their chefs know what they're doing. Please never stop making those delicious pastries! I also want to shout out to the staff. They are obviously very passionate about their coffee shop and take pride in what they do. They're always kind and polite to me. I really appreciate the warm and laid back vibes they give. read more

I am obsessed with this place! I love to come here to study and get a good coffee! The employees are super sweet, and they are always ready to recommend something when you are unsure what to get. My sister needed to get some work done and we wanted a snack and coffee. I found this place on Yelp. It's in a really nice residential/ shopping plaza. The place was pretty popular because it was quite a few people inside and people coming and going. Took a minute to look over the menu because they had some interesting ingredients and was trying to get something that'll satisfy my craving. Originally we ordered a Voodoo Elixir (barista said it was sweet) not sweet at all and had a weird consistency and taste awful. I ended up switching it out to just an iced coffee with white chocolate that wasn't as bad but still not good. I wanted a snack but the lady at the register kept coughing the entire time and it made me really uncomfortable. I think it was really unsanitary for her to be working around food/drinks with her being sick. As she was making customers drinks or grabbing their food items she just coughed and coughed. We ending up leaving after my sister was able to get to a stopping point of her work. This place has potential because it's aesthetically pleasing, but that's about it. Both the baristas looked like they didn't want to be at work and you can tell through the drinks they created. 2 stars is only for the looks of the coffee bar. 0 for the actual coffee and cleanliness read more

I've always loved Rêve. Their espresso is exceptional and I love the atmosphere. This is the first time I've tried any matcha latte. It tastes like green tea but not as bitter. I'll always recommend Rêve to anyone, especially us vegans out there because they've got macadamia, oat, and almond milk to choose from. I adore this hidden gem in Baton Rouge. I always get the voodoo elixir with oat milk and it is delicious. I also always try one of their pastries that one of the employees told me they make every morning. Every single one I have gotten here has made me say "omg this is so good". I really recommend going here if you love coffee or pastries. The atmosphere is very earthy + modern. It's so cute! read more

* ok coffee, prime location * so i think i have kind of an unpopular opinion, but reve did not impress me with their coffee... i was really looking forward to them opening because they're close to me and have a super cute aesthetic inside, which makes it a great study spot! it's also near my friends and gives us a great option for a place to hang out and catch up. but the coffee just wasn't great. the first drink i tried was the lavender latte, which wasn't bad at all! it wasn't amazing, though, and is definitely not a drink that i would go out of my way to get. but if i wanted something to drink while i was at reve, the lavender latte might be my go-to. my friend got a vanilla latte and it wasn't her favorite either. again, not bad! just not the best latte she's ever had... they're also super packed so if you wanna social distance, reve is not the place for you. so yeah, i'm sorry to say this, but i'm not really into reve's coffee. i love their location, but their drinks could be better imo. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in the Baton Rouge area! All the drinks I've had have been amazing, and you can't beat the service here! It does get pretty busy sometimes, but I'm still able to get my work done. I love that this place offers breakfast, lunch, and small bites. Reve also offers cocktails and gelato! Overall, a great coffee shop, even for people who aren't coffee people. There's something here for everyone! read more

It was so nice to see that Reve was able to reopen after relocating from White Star Market. I love a good local coffee shop and this is one of the best. They have all the classic drinks along with a few of their own creations. The shop has a very bright and airy vibe with a sort of retro decor. I love sitting in here to have coffee. I can't wait to go back to try the brunch because all of their food looks incredible. This is a great stop for grabbing a coffee on the go or meeting up with friends for coffee. I will certainly visit again soon. read more

I'm so surprised to read negative reviews so I had to jump on here and send some love! They opened just a stone throw's away from us and we are very pleased! The staff is so kind and helpful and always patient when we bring our whole crew. We L.O.V.E. trying their pastries and while we do have favorites, we will keep trying the new ones they create! Their coffee is next level and they roast their own beans y'all. I don't know if the coffee haters on here drink Starbucks regular or what but their coffee is 100. Their lattes are fun and yummy. It's a craft coffee place and they make their own syrups. This is what you are looking for when you are paying $4.50-$5.00 per drink. One thing I would like is more consistent pastry options but that's hardly a reason to take away a star. Fantastic ambiance, great food, customer service, and drinks. Now we have to come for cocktails! read more

Decided to try this place out after seeing all of their cool coffee concoctions online. I ordered a lavender cappuccino and it came out so pretty and the flavor was good. I ordered a cinnamon roll and it was also just ok. The staff was so friendly however and made sure to accommodate what I needed. It's a busy inside place if you're looking for a quiet place to do work, either wear headphones or sit outside, especially if you're still nervous about Covid. One thing I noticed too that bothered me was that I saw some employees not wearing masks and in the kitchen. That's why I gave my overall rating . read more

Reve opened a week ago and I love it already! This is such a cute place (both inside and outside) and a great coffee shop to get work done. There are plenty of outlets around to charge your devices and its a very peaceful ambiance. The avocado toast I ordered was perfect. But since the place is still very new they don't have the dinner menu ready yet, so you can only order off the lunch menu until 3 pm. The barista says they should have the dinner menu ready within the next week. Very understandable. They're still working out the kinks. I'll definitely be back to try the dinner treats! Only note I have is that the music was a bit loud at times. read more

I will definitely return for the coffee! SO Good! And I had the Avocado Toast- great choice! It's a great place to come and enjoy coffee with friends or to catch up with someone. I would not recommend for studying or working- it can be too loud for that. However, as far as modern and comfort go- 10/10. Definitely worth a try! Love this new location! Very cool coffee shop to meet up with colleagues or friends and family. Beautiful interior design. They're also serving pastries both savory and sweet. Delicious food and drinks here! The nitro cold brew is very strong and they give you a generous amount! I had the Fog tea and it is delicious! Would definitely try it again. We also got the Italian and turkey sandwiches and they were great! Very well toasted and the Mayo accompanied with it was really good. This place is also pet friendly and they have a nice outdoor area. Would definitely visit again!! read more

The prices are very high and do not match the flavor or amount of food you get. I also tried their Sweet Potato Casserole (I believe that's what is it called), it was very good. Before I left I bought a pack of their beef hot dogs. That weekend we cooked them over an open fire and they were delicious.
