I really appreciate that this coffee bar is similar to a cocktail bar in how they craft new coffee and tea drinks monthly for you to try. While it was available, the honey nut cheerio latte was so addictive I went out of my way to get it. I tried their new cereal relation concoction, Kiss from Arroz, and it was delicious. A cinnamon toast crunch rim on a glass is a stellar idea. All coffee is expensive nowadays but this is actually worth the price. read more

Reve has quickly become my go-to coffeeshop in the neighborhood. I am so glad we finally have a local coffeeshop in the area. They have definitely worked out some of their kinks from when they first opened. I love the unique coffee and tea drink choices and that they offer unique tea drinks for those who don't drink coffee. I highly recommend their Voodoo Elixir! It's a delicious coffee drink with cold brew, local honey, warm spices, and goat milk, but I recommend it with oat milk. I have gotten several of my friends addicted to this drink as well - it's a must have! Their seasonal drinks area always fun and unique as well. I can't wait to try the "Cereal Killer" soon. Another great thing about Reve is that it's a "full service" coffeeshop. You can visit early in the morning at 6:30, come for lunch, happy hour, or a nightcap. Their extended hours are super convenient for my work schedule. They even offer Sunday brunch now as well. I have been really enjoying their delicious pastries. For breakfast, I recommend the bacon/egg pastry. If you visit on a day when they have the brownie, you must get it! It's the fudgiest, most delicious brownie around. The environment is gorgeous. Reve is by far my favorite coffee shop in Baton Rouge, and I've tried a lot of coffee shops! The baristas and other staff are so welcoming and they always remember me when I come in. I appreciate that the dining area is always clean, and I always find a spot to sit inside or outside. The drinks are wonderful (I wish I could give a bonus star for not up-charging alternative milks!) and so are the pastries. There are vegan options every day which is rare for most coffee shops in Baton Rouge, and I love that the offerings vary by season so I can try something new. I am never bored by anything served here. Reve is also a decent spot to get work done- especially in the middle of the week during the day. Weekends can be pretty crowded and noisy. I've been a few times for food and it was delicious. This is a tiny place so it gets kinda packed on weekends but there is additional seating on their patio! Reve is the perfect coffee shop. The food, pastries, gelato, and drinks are all perfection. I don't think I've had a single bad experience and I've been going frequently once I found this place. The drink selection is great. If you're a die-hard coffee fan then you're going to have a hard time choosing because each drink is perfectly prepared. The bread is toasted perfectly. The addition of the pesto to dip it in is so nice. I love how the pastries rotate daily. My sister needed to get some work done and we wanted a snack and coffee. I found this place on Yelp. It's in a really nice residential/ shopping plaza. The place was pretty popular because it was quite a few people inside and people coming and going. Took a minute to look over the menu because they had some interesting ingredients and was trying to get something that'll satisfy my craving. Originally we ordered a Voodoo Elixir (barista said it was sweet) not sweet at all and had a weird consistency and taste awful. I ended up switching it out to just an iced coffee with white chocolate that wasn't as bad but still not good. I wanted a snack but the lady at the register kept coughing the entire time and it made me really uncomfortable. I think it was really unsanitary for her to be working around food/drinks with her being sick. As she was making customers drinks or grabbing their food items she just coughed and coughed. We ending up leaving after my sister was able to get to a stopping point of her work. This place has potential because it's aesthetically pleasing, but that's about it. Both the baristas looked like they didn't want to be at work and you can tell through the drinks they created. 2 stars is only for the looks of the coffee bar. 0 for the actual coffee and cleanliness read more

It was so nice to see that Reve was able to reopen after relocating from White Star Market. I love a good local coffee shop and this is one of the best. They have all the classic drinks along with a few of their own creations. The shop has a very bright and airy vibe with a sort of retro decor. I love sitting in here to have coffee. I can't wait to go back to try the brunch because all of their food looks incredible. This is a great stop for grabbing a coffee on the go or meeting up with friends for coffee. The staff is so kind and helpful and always patient when we bring our whole crew. We L.O.V.E. trying their pastries and while we do have favorites, we will keep trying the new ones they create! Their coffee is next level and they roast their own beans y'all. I don't know if the coffee haters on here drink Starbucks regular or what but their coffee is 100. Their lattes are fun and yummy. It's a craft coffee place and they make their own syrups. This is what you are looking for when you are paying $4.50-$5.00 per drink. I ordered a cinnamon roll and it was also just ok. The staff was so friendly however and made sure to accommodate what I needed. Reve opened a week ago and I love it already! This is such a cute place (both inside and outside) and a great coffee shop to get work done. There are plenty of outlets around to charge your devices and its a very peaceful ambiance. The avocado toast I ordered was perfect. But since the place is still very new they don't have the dinner menu ready yet, so you can only order off the lunch menu until 3 pm. The barista says they should have the dinner menu ready within the next week. Very understandable. They're still working out the kinks. I'll definitely be back to try the dinner treats! Delicious food and drinks here! The nitro cold brew is very strong and they give you a generous amount! I had the Fog tea and it is delicious! Would definitely try it again.
