Lilah killed it again. I wanted to go brighter and to do something a little "different but similar" and she was able to read through what I meant and give me exactly what I wanted. And as always, always super comfortable and down to earth at this salon. The color is absolutely gorgeous, even just for a solid all-over color it has tons of dimension and is not your normal red. The cut was perfect. I am not great with requesting what kind of hair I want - I just said I wanted to switch it up a little and had a few ideas - and she was able to put all of my ideas into a coherent cut. Had the BEST facial ever with Elizabeth! She listened attentively to my concerns about my skin and its sensitivity to many products and procedures. After looking very closely at and touching the skin on my face, Elizabeth selected the products and type of facial she felt would be best for me. She started with dermaplaning, then during my facial, explained in detail before application, that one of final products would cause a little tingling and some redness, but that would dissipate in a short time...It did! My skin was glowing and looked super healthy! I love a good facial, but after almost every other facial I have had in the past, I have a very red, on fire face that burns/stings for hours afterward. Tried out this spot and had Hana G as my hair girl. Overall great experience. I started off with explaining what I wanted and she got it pretty much instantly. To confirm, I went back around a month later for a touchup and she did a great job there too. I do plan on making this my new regular spot since moving to the city. Another perk was the scalp/neck massage at the end which was elite. Def recommend if anyone needs a stylist. read more

Nice job with touch up but way to expensive. They charge for extra color needed. I've been coloring my hair for 15 years and never been charged for needing more product until this salon. Got charged for additional bang trim. Again in the past this has been complimentary if you received other services. I did receive call from the Salon. I have gone to this salon 4 times. I went back and checked my receipts from the 2 prior visits and was not charged for bang trim or extra color, just toner($6). The very first visit I got charged only $22 (same stylist that I felt over charged me during my last visit - charged extra $37). I guess it depends on who you see. read more

March 4 2020 to September 4 2021. That is how long it had been since I had a cut and color. Coming out of the self trims and brightening up my game needed a visionary. I turned to my BFF who has her hair game on point! She sent me to Reverie and Grace. Grace Harrell and I met for an online consultation in early August and then it was a matter of finding the time to get to Chicago and lose some length. Grace was incredible. I lost about five inches and maybe 5 shades as I moved from a mousy light brown/ dark blonde to the light blonde I wanted. Living in Wisconsin , I want a cut and color that can grow out without a lot of salon visits. Making the trip to Chicago is not easy to schedule- but it is fun!! I've already made the appointment for February 2022. Everyone in the salon was terrific. Grace is mwah mwah mwah- perfection. So kind. So generous. I'm fairly new to the salon; I followed my stylist Steven when he joined the team. Everyone in the salon is helpful and kind, the location is very convenient, and I love the Davines hair and skincare products! But really, back to Steven He's been my stylist for 19 years! I know! So many hairstyles, so much color! He's truly a master of both. I've always worn bangs (with two cowlicks even!) and he always works it out. He's hilarious and I really look forward to our visits. It's the best thing when you find your person who you just trust. My current style is a little edgier than anything we've done in a while and I'm not lying when I say I'm complimented on it every day wherever I go. Sydney is amazing. I loved my blonde balayage with extensions. She did a perfect job where my hair didn't turn orange after bleaching it and the extensions were not seen for up to 8 weeks before they needed to be moved up. I love how quickly but detailed she is at exactly what I had asked for. I also love how at times her two french bulldogs are roaming the salon. I saw Anca at Reverie for the first time this week and had a great experience. She was kind and non-judgmental about my pretty badly neglected hair and gave me the perfect cut. She listened to my issues and offered options that were realistic and helpful for my hair type and lifestyle, including some great new care and styling tips I'd never heard from a stylist before. She kept me in the loop as she was cutting to make sure we were on the same page the whole time. She gave me a really flattering, sleek look that I can actually replicate at home every day. Came here with a need for a cathartic hair cut. I was able to book something on 15 minutes notice. The hair salon vibe is cool. It is a great space. Staff are friendly and flexible. I asked the hair stylist to cut my hair and make it lighter and more fun. The only downside was that The hair stylist basically just trimmed off 3 inches and didn't do much else.
