The day I arrived, I parked easily and was buzzed in, where I was welcomed and a precautionary covid check was done. I didn't wait long and was seen on time. The staff were very welcoming, especially Ilka. The space is beautiful. I went for a consultation and felt seen and heard but not as much as I had hoped. You know those days when the energy is off, you are not sure it is you, them or a combination of both. However, I was impressed that the doctor wanted to see me a week later to see how my treatment took since I was a new patient. When I went in the following week, the doctor was very, calm, kind and accommodating. I felt very seen and heard. I felt welcomed and cared for. I was looked at closely as an individual. After the follow up appointment I was given a mini treatment of something I am interested in. I appreciate the time and care to show me. I highly recommend Reviv Med Spa. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences at reviv medspa! I have had a number of procedures done with Dr. Misle, she always offers her honest opinion and really takes her time listening to your needs even if she thinks you don't need anything extra. She uses a very special technique When working with filler to make the experience as painless as possible, I've walked away with absolutely no bruising and minimal swelling each time I've came in for filler. During my most recent visit i was mostly concerned about acne scars and some pigmentation, where she recommended Halo laser treatment. The procedure was performed by the nurse Katrina with the assistance of Ari, i knew i was in good hands when they did everything possible to make this somewhat painful procedure easy and comfortable as possible, Ari always made sure there was an ice pack in each area of my face that had been completed. I have been to Reviv for services 3 times now. I was very nervous my first time, but the doctor and staff made me very comfortable. I had the Halo treatment done and I have to admit, I wasn't impressed at first. But just as Dr. Misle had explained, the results were really noticeable about 3 months after the treatment. My skin was noticeably smoother, glowing, and my acne scars were not as noticeable. Last night I went in for fillers and Botox. Dr. Misle is a master of her trade. We spoke about what I was hoping to achieve and she actually listened to me. I personally don't like the look of most lip injections. I wanted to look natural, yet more youthful. She did my lips, and they look AMAZING. A little swollen now obviously, but she stopped often to have me look in the mirror at my results and they are going to look natural yet amazing. She didn't end up using the entire vial and so they are saving it for the next few weeks to be able to use if I feel like I my lips aren't symmetrical. Nice to know it's there just in case, but she did such a good job and just has an eye for this work, I doubt I'll use it. I've never felt like I was being oversold at Reviv. In fact, when I first went to see Dr. Misle for Botox, I actually paid less than expected because she didn't think I needed so much. I knew I could trust her after that. read more

I've been to quite a few places for Botox. This spa is by far the best I have ever experienced. The staff is warm & friendly. The Dr is so personal & friendly it took me a while to realize she is the Dr!! I told her how many units I usually get. She asked for me to let her decide on what she felt would work for me. She said giving me that amount is like tossing gasoline from an overflow. It's a waste. She did not over sell. Like I expected to happen. I asked her about a new product that supposedly claims to last longer. She said it's more expensive and she really likes Botox. Here's another thing, I've been using Botox for years. Like 15 yrs. This is the very 1st time it didn't hurt. I was cringing & holding on to prepare for the uncomfortable, painful product to be administered. I was chatting away to take away my nervousness & directing her where I wanted the product administered. She said, "I'm done." I was like, "Did you cover this spot and that spot?" She said "yes I did." She could see the doubt in my expression. She then said, "In 1 week, if you're not happy, I'll take care of it." Truly & and honestly, I'm thrilled with this spa. I've been trying to make that 11 appear between my eyebrows & it is definitely not there at all. My gf had an appointment with this spa. I live 42 miles away, but I figured if I could get an appointment at the same time as my friend, well, I'll give this place a try. Unfortunately, I'm not happy with the experience I've had at Reviv. I was not comfortable with the doctor and did not like the way the doctor applied my 20 units of Botox (purchased through Groupon); it was super aggressive and not applied on my glabellar line like I asked. I knew I wouldn't see results. I'm not sure she even applied all 20 units. The doctor kept telling me to make an appointment to come in two weeks later to buy some more units. I've done Botox elsewhere and I've always done 20 units on my glabellar line. I never needed more. This was not a cheap procedure. I feel duped and not going back. read more

I went here, and was taken in by Tammy @ the Front Desk. She was wonderful! My mother and I were getting ready for a wedding, and Tammy worked very hard to get us ready for this special event. I met the Doctor, and she was peculiar at best, and not very warm or personable... My mother left very upset and I was not going to get anything done at all... Tammy saved the day, as it seems she has done many times before... And we did over 3K in peels, thermathis and that. And while I love Kiyon. The front desk receptionist is all about the $$$. She has horrible etiquette and I wouldn't schedule with her at the desk ever. I won't go back there. read more

A friend recommended me for A BTL remove my hyper-pigmentation. The treatment didn't work that well for my skin so I went back to the previous med Spa. Overall, the ambiance is very nice and spacious. Also, the parking is super convenient. The only bad side is they didn't have the other hyperpigmentation treatment I was looking for. read more

I went to the Dermalounge before going over to Reviv and Reviv won me over. Dermalounge was quoting 500 for IPL and Reviv had quoted 400. Reviv had my attention. Besides price, Reviv is brand new, beautifully appointed and what really cinched it for me was the fact that the person who would be performing my BBL (IPL) and my profractional was a doctor not an esthetician or nurse. I really felt like i was in good hands. Their lasers are new and the rooms are private and soothing, not too clinical. I'm skittish about getting things done to my face but Dr. Misle was very good and answered every question I had and even pointed out the Sciton website to visit. My procedures should have taken an hour but she really took her time and was very thorough, revisiting spots that needed more work. They are a full service Med Spa. They have SkinCeauticals and SkinMedica that they promote. They offer them as suggestions and tell if you really need them or not. I respect that and I love that they have non metered parking spaces in the front. No looking for parking or worrying about the meter during facials anymore! Woo Hoo! Firstly, I am not a really a yelper. I really try to support business and my yelps are positive. I feel anxious and saddened having to respond to reviv's response:( The entire first part of their response must be for another dissatisfied client as none of that was about my experiment! If it is, it is an outright lie. I was never invited nor attended a lunch event. Nor did I have extensive talks with the Doctor. I went in with a friend who was getting botox. I thought that would be a good choice for me. Upon leaving I was more interested after a brief discussion about getting fillers. Yes, I bought the product on a whim - and 2 weeks later kindly asked for a refund and hoped they could accommodate due to sudden loss of a parent, a cancer scare and other skin issues. They did not. In my further research, venues like this should have one on one consultation with a potential client. They should have stopped me from my spontaneous excitement about wanting to get a deal - But to say I went to an event that I did not go to?! This is just so disappointing. 1300.00 is a lot of money. I really am shocked. A simple refund or partial refund would have not taken me to this place of writing bad info on Yelp! :( read more

Have been coming here for 3+ years. Very skilled injectors, professional, friendly, and beautiful office. Dr. M. has an instinctual understanding of how and where to apply what for desired affects. Have used Botox, Dysport, and xeomin with great results. Recently I had me first filler of Vollure and Voluma and am estancia w he results. I also did 9 zones of Coolsculpting which they made as comfortable as possible ! Lastly I've started using a face wash/exfoliant and a serum from their product line and I can attest that clinical products do work better then Sephora or department store brands. Looking forward to some microdermabrasion and some lasers in the future to add to my 'maintenance' program. read more

The entire staff is very friendly and professional, the facility is very clean, and they have found additional discounts and rebates for me on both visits. Dr. Misle really cares about what she does. After my first appointment for Botox, she made sure I checked in a week later to insure I was happy with the results. I went in today, and decided on a whim that I was ready to try lip fillers. I was a little tentative, but Dr. Misle was amazing! She really took her time, and showed me the progress throughout. I absolutely LOVE the results! I do not recommend Coolsculpting here. I have a huge dent in between the lower and upper abdomen. I was never shown my before and after pics. When I went back to get my upper abdomen done I was warned that it "might not work" and was told I could come back and redo it for the discounted price of SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. Well, it didn't work. Now I have a flat(ish) lower belly with indentations leading to a puffed out upper abdomen. Not that anyone called to check on me or schedule a follow up, but not that if ever give them $700 more dollars anyway. read more

Parking & Convenience are worth a visit. I was referred by a happy client who did injections and a peel. She looks great, very natural. Unlike the reviews (and my friend) the Dr did not perform my injections. I feel slightly misled and wanted to make note of it. The Dr spent time with me to answer questions, very nice. The tech was also well informed, professional and pleasant but perhaps not so skilled at injections. Unfortunately 4 hours later I experienced painful injection site swelling (large lump) which I have never had before with injections. The Dr did follow up via phone the following day and claimed the swelling should go down in a couple of days. These things happen I guess. It's unfortunate because I work so close it sure beats going to the city to see my usual dr, who also costs more. I am not sure I feel confident enough about the care to return here. After over 10 years with the same dermatologist (who is now too busy), I had to find another professional to entrust my face to. I found Dr. Misle on Yelp. I got an appointment right away. In fact, when I called to make an appointment, Dr. Misle was in the office alone, catching up on paperwork and picked up the phone herself. I had a little bit of trepidation because she trained as an anesthesiologist as opposed to a dermatologist, then switched over to cosmetics and injectibles. But I found Dr. Misle to be very attentive, informed, a great communicator, and an excellent practitioner. She sure is great with those needles! No bruising, and very little swelling. I like to support small, women owned businesses. And I will be very happy to be in good hands, and to support her. Bottom line... THIS PLACE IS GREAT. My first appointment was with Dr. Misle for Botox. She's great because she's patient, answers all your questions with knowledgable feedback, and gives her honest and best recommendations regardless if it's not the most expensive procedure on the menu. She is also very conservative with the amount of Botox she injected...which proves that she cares more about producing good results for her patients than racking up the bill and wasting patients' money. Not to mention.. the price of Botox was very reasonable compared to other places I have been in San Mateo and San Francisco. Silk Peel Microdermabrasion with Keoun (spelling may be wrong): Excellent facial.. well worth the money spent. She did an AMAZING job and the actual treatment was very comfortable and enjoyable. Keoun was great with answering my questions and offering suggestions. Yet, she was polite and respectful and did not talk the whole way through the treatment like I've had other estheticians do. The results of the facial are amazing and I will definitely be purchasing again. In response to an earlier review about the front desk being too dolled up: I understand where that opinion is coming from, however, I disagree and I feel like if I am going to spend several hundred dollars on facials and treatments I feel more assured and comfortable with the decision because there is a real product and result of their work sitting at the front desk!!! If she looks good and has confidence in the company which she works for.. this reaffirms that I have picked a good quality spa to spend my money at. I heard through a friend that Millbrae had a new skin care facility and I decided to check them out. First I went onto their website and was impressed with the information, services and skin care products. I made an appointment for a Microdermabrasion/SilkPeel - when I first walked in I was warmly greeted by 3 friendly women, and one of them got out of her way to show me their skincare line before I went into the session. My skin had been suffering from stress and breakouts-the session itself was heavenly-Marissa is an excellent esthetician with a peaceful spirit. I normally don't like to talk during sessions, but because the SilkPeel is new to me, she was happy to answer my questions regarding the steps, process, and effects. I was given a facial, a neck and face massage, and then the SilkPeel (Microdermbrasion). I didn't want the session to end, but she did an excellent job on helping me relax and my skin looked radiant. It's been 2 days, and my skin has improved immensely. I am going back to buy the SkinMedica line as my skin responded well to the cleanser and creams. The place itself is beautiful and has the SPA feel. I met the general manager and Dr. Gayle Misle. They were helpful and informative and they don't pressure you. I find this place through Groupon they were having a sale and as a single mom who doesn't have alot of money I thought it was worth it and this place had good reviews. I was wrong first off the receptionist says can you sign this doesn't explain what you are signing. It was all rushed due to the fact it took forever to find the place. Then I should of know when I saw the over Botox giant lip doctor this wasn't going to end well. I really had a whoa double take moment when she walked in. I told her where I wanted my Botox she didn't explain much just in between the eyes you need to get it every 3 months to really work. But you should see a difference. That was all she did it over my eyebrows 1 in the center. Done. No after care explaination nothing just ok your done and she was gone. Woke up this morning droopy eye lid with no change what so ever and actually now look like i have this mean squint even worse going on. Worst experience ever now it's even worse then before. I have been going to Reviv Med Spa for years and always receive the best, most professional, and caring treatment from Dr. Misle and her staff. Dr. Misle always listens to my concerns and makes recommendations to help me look my best. She is never pushy or tries to oversell anything. I usually see her for Botox injections but have had facials, sunspots removed with BBL laser, and fillers done for lip lines. She is an absolute artist with Botox injections, I receive many compliments from people saying I look much younger than my years (I am 66). For years I have been concerned with my sagging turkey neck, jowls, and most recently, an increase in deep lower face wrinkles, so Dr. Misle recommended Sylfirm RF Microneedling. trust her judgment entirely so I had the procedure done today. My face and neck were numbed with a gel for an hour so I really didn't feel much except some pressure, I had no pain at all. Afterward, I was a little red but there really was no downtime. I immediately saw some improvement with fine lines and laxity around my jawline, and Dr. Misle says to expect continued improvement to occur through the next few weeks. Yay! Due to the number of deep wrinkles and laxity in my neck, Dr. Misle recommended another treatment in a few weeks. I'm excited to see my before and after photos! read more

I just had a Silkpeel by Kathleen and it was the best treat I could give my skin. The procedure was very relaxing and Kathleen made the process seem so easy, she explained the process as well as told me about the cleansers/medicine applied to my skin to do a thorough peel. Silkpeel is indeed wonderful to your skin and does not even hurt a bit. After my Silkpeel, I went into consultation with Dr. Misle who took the time (I didn't even have an appointment) to explain Profractional and Microlaser peel for my acne scars. I had an amazing experience at Reviv. I've had several IPLs over the last five years for rosacea, and this was the best service I received by far. It was the first time ever that a doctor actually performed the procedure, and what a difference it made! Dr. Misle has an excellent bedside manor. She really listened to what my concerns were, explained what the different options were, and what the potential benefits would be for each course of action. Even though she was insanely busy, she took her time with me and it didn't feel rushed at all. Most importantly to me, Dr. Misle was incredibly knowledgeable about the procedures. It was very reassuring. She seems truly committed to her own professional development and training, uses the most up to date technology, and keeps herself abreast of the most cutting edge approaches. Plus, she didn't push any treatments on me. I came in prepared to pay a lot of money for a special they had going, and instead she recommended we start with something far less expensive. I really felt like Dr. Misle was trying to do what was best for me, not her bottom line. That's the way it should always be. The actual procedure was also much better than other places I've been - it barely hurt and she didn't use any numbing cream! Why have I been torturing myself for all of these years? Well today marks two weeks since my appointment, & I am still sporting the remnants of the full on black eye I received from my botox injections! Oh yeah, & no results! I came in on a 1/2 off Groupon. I've had botox for my crows feet at least 5 times before at a different doctor, & I have never had any issues. My crows feet have always magically disappeared within three days. Dr. Misle's paper work says it can take up to 14 days to see results, so I waited. I see no results! Except of course for my black eye! She told me I would have a small bruise, so I asked if I needed the ice pack that the receptionist brought in. Dr. Misle said "no, you're good." Well, I wasn't good. I ended up looking like a domestic violence victim, & it's been quite embarrassing! Even the black eye wouldn't have been so bad if the botox had at least worked. Maybe she used expired botox? Maybe she didn't use botox at all, just saline? I don't know?? I'm just angry that I PAID for this!! I'm giving one star because the receptionist was a doll, & the location is beautiful, but I would not ever go back here! read more

I received a Latisse Groupon gift from a friend and immediately called Reviv to set up an appointment. Shreena answered the phone and was very kind and helpful. After filling her in on my cancer history, she patiently answered all my questions about Latisse, and found an appointment time slot to accommodate my schedule. My appointment was yesterday afternoon, as the doctor was with another patient, Shreena happened to be available for my consultation. Again she was very kind, doing her best to calm my nerves. She was thorough in her knowledge of using Latisse, even provided pointers about how to use it without any waste, and suggested applying the leftover product on the brush to my eyebrows as they are unfortunately thinning out. Of course after the consultation there was a bit of an attempt to "upsell" other procedures, but this is par for the course in most establishments. Dr. Misle popped her head in the door for a nano second to say "hi" and said she would be back to meet me. A few minutes later Shreena came in and said the Doctor was backed up, if I didn't have any more questions perhaps I wouldn't want to sit and wait for what could be 1/2 hour or more. I had purchased a Botox Groupon for myself and will make another appointment for that procedure...following up here with a post about my experience. Until then, due to my very positive interaction with Shreena I have appointed four (4) stars...possibly would have been five (5) if I'd had the opportunity to speak with the doctor for a minute or two regarding PhototRejuvenation to see if I would be a good candidate for the procedure. read more

I came here for the first time after purchasing a Groupon for Botox. Although I live in San Francisco, the short drive is so worth it. The Spa is easy to find, has free, convenient parking and has beautiful decor. The front desk staff is warm and accommodating and completely make you feel at ease. The best part of course is Dr. Gayle Misle herself. She is knowledgable and professional but also patient. She explained everything she was doing and took the time to address any questions I might have without making me feel rushed in any way. She's also just really fun and personable which makes for a great experience. On top of all of that - incredible results! I have had botox injections in the past, more units even with not nearly the results I got from Dr. Misle. I was so happy with the results, I went back to have her fill my lips wth some Juviderm. Dr. Misle used 1 syringe worth to plump and fill my lips that have started to wrinkle a bit with age. Again, she totally knocked it out of the park.
