I must start this review by saying that the only other restaurant of this type I've been to is Revolving Sushi near the Mall of Georgia, so naturally I compared this restaurant to that one. The one near MOG is also NOT a Korean BBQ, just Sushi, but that's all we were interested in. Revolving Sushi & Korean BBQ is very nice inside! Comfortable booths and pleasant decor. The service was also top notch with very nice, well trained and attentive servers. The Sushi (which is all I'm reviewing) was uninspired. It was nice sized portions but there was limited variety. Very few rolls, missing some of the "standards" like egg. The Sashimi was good and I especially liked the smoked eel. We were about to leave when we realized it was $40 for all you can eat, even if all you wanted was sushi - no meat. But then the waitress told us we could go "by the plate." What she didn't tell us is that the small plates of vegitables, salad, etc. were 1/2 the plate charge. We would have selected more of those. I'll give them a year and then try again. read more

For a soft opening they are doing really good, I wanted to give 4.5 stars but that is only because they don't small kid desserts, most places have mochi or something similar kid friendly- My daughter was so bummed- but we will definitely be coming back. We wish they would have offered a fruit too. For kids, dessert and fruit are important. Line was out the door for people after we arrived. The staff is really friendly and helpful. It is a little pricey HOWEVER, the quality of meats and sushi is very nice, we grilled filet mignon, short ribs, and sirloin- but they have a great mix of meats to grill. It was pretty good... The food was fresh and vibrant. Unfortunately, we only ate at the buffet side. And also, unfortunately in Gainesville Georgia... Such was the buffet goers. Anytime crab was placed in the buffet... Your typical people are going up and filling their plates up sky, high with crab and going back and making a meal of it. I don't see the quality lasting very long only because of its location maybe somewhere in Buford or not Gainesville I'm sure it would be very successful. read more

Place is good for sushi and kbbq! Meats are tender, t-bone had a lot of bone residue. Beer was lukewarm warm which is not my take, needs to be colder. Sushi was good and not fishy tasting. Service was ok, little slow but ok overall. Very clean and big tables for big parties. Would be back. read more

The sushi, steak, and Korean BBQ were absolutely outstanding. The sushi had just the right amount of rice, which let the fresh fish really stand out. Every piece tasted incredibly fresh. The side sauces, including the ssamjang and cho-gochujang (Korean spicy vinegar sauce), were perfectly balanced--not too strong and not too mild. They complemented the food beautifully. What made the experience even more special was that the owner personally came over to check on us and made sure everything was perfect. That level of hospitality made us feel truly welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant and sincerely hope it continues to grow and thrive. I'll definitely be back! read more

This is not worth the price paid. It looks nice and the food tastes pretty good, but the portions are so small. $40 per person for "all you can eat." The alcoholic beverages are good and unique. I had the melon one that has a melon Popsicle/ice cream bar melting into it. That really adds to the flavor. We ordered the brisket from the screen, but they sent us pork belly. The flies are ridiculous here and it just makes it gross and annoying. They apologized but nothing was offered to remedy things and it doesn't look like they're actively trying to fix the issue. The staff is friendly. I just don't think paying this much for incorrect food, small portions and a ton of flies is worth it. I doubt we'll be back. read more

Would I got here again? No not really the sushi is good but the Korean BBQ is not really the best. Then we had just gotten there and our server decided to order us to 2 different type meat which we didn't mind but we were not able to try due to allergies that one of us had. Lastly overall it's was okay but honestly I wish I would have gotten my money worth more. read more

Very unorganized. Employee calls everybody baby. No instruction on how it works . Dried up sushi. No knifes for cutting meats. Not a good choice for dining! All of this and over priced! No parking! I would not recommend! read more

We were told the only option was the all you can eat at $40 a person. We got no direction/instructions. Sushi on the belt was old with very little selection. The cuts of meat were nice but no seasonings offered? The iPad that you order on is only accessible to the two most inside people so if you are in the middle or the outside you can't look at it independently. The service was awful. Another waitress felt bad and tried to help us because ours was MIA. Will not go back. read more

I don't know where to start. the sushi on the revolving line was old, you can tell it had been sitting there for hours. the sides lack seasoning, bland, kimshi was watered down , radish had no flavor, the meats are bland. the only good thing was the white rice. unfortunately I will not recommend or return. not to mention the price for such disappointing food. read more

we got there about an hour before they got kind of busy and we had like 6 servers and they were all very attentive which was great. we were there for about two hours and when the time came for us to pay the bill it took over an hour to get anyone's attention so we can get our checks. all of a sudden every single server that came by our table disappeared and we kept hitting the call staff button. we finally got the attention of two different servers to ask for the check and it still took like 30 minutes before they came back and took our payment upfront. then it took another 30 minutes for them to ring up everyone's card and we already knew they were gonna do a automatic gratuity but for that type of service i would not tip. there must not have been communication between any of the servers of who was gonna be taking care of our table and the food quality was not the best. read more
