Really cute place! It felt clean and Lexi did a great job with my first bikini wax. She talked to me the whole time to help distract me. The only downside is getting into/out of the parking lot can be a little tricky (but that's just Austin, lol) and you have to scan a QR code to get in as the door is locked; that can cause a delay which is unpleasant if you're waiting in the heat (they didn't have a receptionist when I was there). However I'll gladly wait if it means a safer experience! read more

The salon was very clean, and my esthetician, Sally, was very kind and efficient. I especially appreciated the plastic barriers to protect staff and customers. They need to figure out how to have doors open during open hours so that clients don't just have to sit/stand outside. Completely unprofessional. The technicians there are amazing, but every time I think about going, I'm reminded of the ridiculous door and look for a different place instead! Updates: OK maybe I was a little frustrated and I'm gonna give a few more stars. I really wish they would have a receptionist like most professional places do instead of having someone on the West Coast being responsible for opening the door for you. My technician was amazing! I'm incredibly impressed. This is the best Brazilian I've ever gotten. There is not one hair remaining. I'm not even joking. I did a mix of sugaring and hard wax. Sugaring is interesting experience. This was the first time I've ever done it. My aesthetician was incredibly informative and told me exactly what to expect. She was extremely personable. Still amazing! Wanted to update that I've been coming here for exactly 4 years now and I love Rewaxation. I've rotated estheticians and their staff is great but Victoria is my go to. Her attention to detail while also making the appointment light and fun is why I love her. She also suggested I switch wax types when she saw one was not working as well for me which I appreciated. as she's the expert. She's always looking out and I look forward to my appointments with her. And yes the music still rocks and everyone is super clean friendly and fabulous. Amazing. I just moved to town and this was the only sugaring place I could find to do my Brazilian. The spa is super clean, decorated nicely and good music. The whole process is easy peasy. You can make your appointment online with a specific esthetician or whomever is available that day and time. If you're new, they send you a form to fill out via email and/or text. 15 minutes prior to your appt, you are sent a message to check in once you arrive, then they message you once your esthetician is ready for you. No one waits inside, which for me makes the whole appt quick and easy. Once I went in, Jess was waiting for me at the front. It was my first time at reWAXation and my first time ever getting a Sugar Wax. I went with the sugar wax because on their website it said that it's best for those that are prone to ingrowns, which I am. Jess walked me through the process and made sure I was doing okay throughout the session. She was super sweet and fun to talk to. Super easy to book online and when I called with a question they were easy to get a hold of. Currently you cannot wait inside but checking in via text message is fast and simple. They have a small cash discount which I took advantage of. Prices are comparable to other salons I looked into and it's cheaper when you become a recurring client. UPDATED: The Owner sent an email to ALL CLIENTS stating my email was "vindictive" (ironic, eh?), so let's try different wording as that was not my intent. I can say that I went there for 1.5 yrs... while pregnant & not pregnant... all good experiences. They also do sugaring which is hard to find in Austin. BUT YOU SHOULD BE AWARE OF WHERE YOUR MONEY IS GOING! Shay sent an email recommending clients donate money to several pro-abortion organizations, describing her experience marching against abortion bans at the capitol, and notifying that a portion of proceeds for 1 wk+ go to the ACLU. I will be finding a different salon, because this is not something I can monetarily support. For information, they have also donated money towards Planned Parenthood, suicide prevention & RAINN - the national sexual assault hotline. My star rating reflects my recommendation of using the company, but you can decide what you want to support with your money. read more

I was a first-time client yesterday (10/7/21) with Victoria. She was very personable and followed my instructions to a T! I paid my $30 cash and gave her a 20% tip. Later that night, I noticed that I had a stinging and burning sensation beneath my left eyebrow. I didn't think much of it. Then, this morning I woke up to find that I had a wax burn and some of my skin had been ripped off. I'm really hoping that it doesn't scar. I'm really bummed because I wanted to love this place and Victoria was so nice. I'm sure things happen but I definitely don't want to pay for a service that burns and rips my skin off. :( read more

I had a bad experience with Victoria. She asked me briefly what I wanted -- before starting to wax. But barely looked me in the eye to talk to me before starting to wax my brows. With other waxing spots, they look at your eye brows first. Ask you what you want, how you envision your brows looking, etc. 5 minutes later, my skin was ripped off on my right eye -- and she refused to finish the other eye. (At least she could tweeze .... or make sure I left happier). This was a disappointing eye brow wax. After going home and looking in the mirror, it seems like she put the wax way too low, on the top of my eye lid. Previous waxers put a thin line of wax under the eye brow. Well, I get married in one week and have to worry about preventing a scab. Hopefully Neosporin daily does the trick. What hurts me the most, is I did not get an apology. read more

Giving 3 stars because I get my brows done consistently here with Jessica and she's amazing -- 5 stars for Jessica! This review is mostly for the Brazilian I got with someone else this past weekend. I asked for sugaring because my skin is very sensitive, but I said she could use a little bit of wax in areas that she thinks it would be easier in. She ended up using a ton of wax (more wax than sugaring) and it was so hot it was burning my skin. In addition, there are a bunch of stray hairs left all over the place, which is disappointing. I'll be back for my brows, but never again for a Brazilian. read more

Omg. LOVED IT! At first I was a little nervous because the esthetician was very blunt at first. But then we started talking and warming up To each other lol and it went great! I love that they offer both sugaring and hard wax, whatever your body reacts to better. The process was a bit longer than my usual trips for a Brazilian BUT the results lasted longer so I am Not complaining !
