Giving 3 stars because I get my brows done consistently here with Jessica and she's amazing -- 5 stars for Jessica! This review is mostly for the Brazilian I got with someone else this past weekend. I asked for sugaring because my skin is very sensitive, but I said she could use a little bit of wax in areas that she thinks it would be easier in. She ended up using a ton of wax (more wax than sugaring) and it was so hot it was burning my skin. In addition, there are a bunch of stray hairs left all over the place, which is disappointing. I'll be back for my brows, but never again for a Brazilian. read more

Omg. LOVED IT! At first I was a little nervous because the esthetician was very blunt at first. But then we started talking and warming up To each other lol and it went great! I love that they offer both sugaring and hard wax, whatever your body reacts to better. The process was a bit longer than my usual trips for a Brazilian BUT the results lasted longer so I am Not complaining ! I did underarms sugaring for the first time ever and I am so pleased with how long it's lasted! Wish you guys had a location in NYC! I have tried several different wax salons over the past 6 months and have yet to find one that I can call home. I have been getting waxed every 6-8 weeks for the last 15 years. Except for this year due to the pandemic. After 11 months of fending for myself at home, I decided it was time to let the professionals do what they do best. I'm new-ish to Austin and chose reWAXation due to their amazing reviews and they did not disappoint. What I liked: COVID protocol - absolutely top notch. Every staff member I saw had a mask on, they asked me to wait in my car until it was time for service, and they have the waxing rooms fully set up to minimize risk. They have hung thick plastic above the beds so you can lay on one side while the esthetician works on the other. If anyone's mask slips, you've got a physical barrier between you which is as good as you can get if you deem it worthwhile to go. Appointment availability - I booked an appointment 36hrs in advance at a time that worked great for me. This may be due to lower demand overall right now, but this is still a massive perk. Their waxing and sugaring cost the SAME! I'd never tried sugaring because it's consistently $15-20 more expensive for Brazilian services, but I loved that it's priced the same here. I found my skin slightly less irritated after the service than it would have been with wax and I am hooked. Will be interesting to see if my hair grows back any differently, but sugaring is supposed to be better for preventing ingrown hairs. Blue was my esthetician and she was AMAZING. So nice, professional, and damn was she skilled with that sugar! I'm not too picky because I've been waxing for so long, but she gave me probably the easiest experience I've ever had. For anyone newer to waxing she would have you well taken care of. She really knows what she's doing. She also had me in and out of the building under 25 mins for a full Brazilian wax, which is consistent with the quickest ones I've had. Pricing is market rate. That's all you can ask for. What I didn't like: nothing. Honestly nothing. I'll be back as soon as I need my next wax. read more

Went to reWAXation for the first time last week (during quarantine). They have a great system where you check in via phone in your car, and they tell you when they're ready for you. I got a full Brazilian, and the experience was fantastic. Everything is clean, everyone wearing masks, and there's even a plastic sheet to separate your face from the waxer's face - safer for everyone! Victoria was amazing and gave me tips to prevent ingrown hairs. She was incredibly helpful and answered all the questions I threw at her. She made me feel comfortable and safe. I am a hairy little Mexican girl -- let's just start there. Waxing has always been a once in a blue moon event for me because it's always been uncomfortable, painful, and impossible to do at home, but reWAXation has changed my life. The salon is well kept, clean, professional and friendly. Shoutout to Alaina, because she is SO good at what she does!! She makes me feel like I'm coming to chat with a friend at every appointment, and it really puts your mind at ease while your body hair is being ripped out from the follicle (lol, beauty is pain). Time just flies by while she's taking care of you and she knows how to keep her clients safe and comfortable. I was in awe after my first Brazilian sugaring session! I left so hairless, so smooth, and with the most MINIMAL amount of pain. I've been contemplating on getting a Brazilian wax for years now. I finally gave in and went on the search and came across this place. I specifically sought out a place that would do sugar waxing because it's better for those prone to ingrown hairs. Now the times are different, Covid has businesses operating differently and I strongly feel that this place is taking the necessary precautions. You pull up and text when you arrive and they let you know when it's your time. They also have this plastic drape that comes down separating your head from your body ( that sounds weird lol). Happy Mother's Day everyone!!! I made the appointment yesterday to go for a well needed quarantine wax today. THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST PLACE TO GO IN AUSTIN FOR A WAX!!! They are super experienced, clean and completely safe. Masks and gloves are worn by everyone and there are plastic see through partitions that are in every room for safety. Surfaces are cleaned constantly before and after service and I even saw the lady from the front desk cleaning the front door knob after each and every person entered and exited. It is nice knowing and seeing that this spa establishment has taken every precaution needed to keep everyone safe during this Covid time. When you pull up in front there is a sign in front of every spot which instructs you to text. Then they sent a text asking to fill out Covid waivers, which if you should be done prior to your appointment at home if you want to save some time. After I filled out the forms electronically, I was instructed to go inside with my mask on. Everything was completely clean and sanitized. I meet my technician Victoria. Victoria, showed me to our room and informed me that everything is cleaned before and after each service, which she did in front of me multiple times. Victoria was super sweet and knowledgeable of all the services. I had booked the wrong service and see rectified the situation right in the middle of the service. Thank God for her expertise. After my service she sanitized everything. Then I went to the front desk to pay. ALL AND ALL, I HAD ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH REWAXATION. I just moved to Austin from Cali and had no idea where to go for a Brazilian wax. I came across this gem on yelp after reading through many different reviews. And I'm so happy I found this place! I read great reviews about Victoria so I chose her as my preferred esthetician. The appointment process was really easy. I scheduled online, chose my time slot, and they email you COVID forms that you can digitally fill out before your appointment to save you the hassle. When I got there, I parked and the parking spot tells you to text them that you're there and what parking spot you're in to check yourself in. They text you when they're ready for you to come in. I was greeted by Victoria and was asked to put hand sanitizer on when I entered. Their COVID procedures were very organized and clean/sanitary. Victoria recommended the sugaring for me and she did AMAZING! She made the process very quick and easy. It could depend on the person but sugaring was way less painful than waxing for me. make sure your 15 min early because they don't tell you that until before the appointment. I was 4 min late and they didn't let me in for a 9:50 appointment. they charge you HALF the price of the appointment and say they just can simply not fit you in. receptionist also had no patience and won't let anything slide. not a great experience. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! I've never had a spray tan and my spray tan looks fantastic :)) I felt comfortable they give you all the information and great tips on how to keep your spray tan to last longer I'm deathly gonna be going back there! The place was clean they did a great job about making sure that nobody was in the waiting room you wait in your car until you get a text to come in so making sure that they're safe good covid safety procedures in place I unfortunately didn't take any pictures but I highly recommend this place! Apparently they don't do a lot of spray tanning they do mostly waxing but the spray tan was on point it's winter and I feel fabulous read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Plenty of parking for being on South Lamar. The place is thoughtfully designed. Doesn't have the corporate cog feel at all. I had my first sugaring appointment ever with Jess. Her bedside manner is outstanding. She's incredibly down to earth, friendly and professional. She explained the process and off we went. The "table" was comfortable with a nice pillow unlike other places I've been to. I'm in love with sugaring. I've got that Italian thick coarse hair, and it did so well for me. Jess made sure to go back in with tweezers and clean whatever was left up. I didn't feel like the process was rushed, despite it only taking 20 min. She was helpful in explaining aftercare for me as that had never been done before.. I'm so thankful I found this place. I will 1000000% return. Do yourself a favor and book here...
