Hired him to install an above the range microwave and roof vent for $1147.00. "Edgar" destroyed my cabinet above the microwave, plug he installed was not safe, he used our tools, drilled up the paper diagram of where to mount the bracket and left it, hole in the roof didn't even line up properly with the hole he drilled in the cabinet, he used a dryer vent on the roof. The microwave was crooked and rain leaked into the attic down the cabinet and into the microwave. He sent another guy out to fix the microwave not being level and that man said Edgar was let go. Third time I called when it started leaking Alex said he'd send Edgar. Very fishy and then we found out they were the same guy. He refuses to refund my money and he blocked my calls. I had to hire a roofer to put on a whole new piece of plywood and put on the proper vent. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!!!

Update to my original review of Heights A/C from 2019: Mitch kept my old 2006 unit running for…read moreseven years. At least two blower unit rebuilds, a control card, multiple capacitor replacements, and a few pounds of refrigerant every couple years. This year the refill exited far too quickly and I called Heights A/C for a quote. Thomas replaced the old unit and re-worked the ducts for a great result. The house feels better with the new duct work and the system is amazingly quiet.

Pretty much a bunch of BS I called Efficient Polar Air they came out Saturday at 9PM said that the builder when the HVAC person installed the unit they didn't vacuum enough and if anything the expansion valve needed to be changed and vacuum to be done but couldn't confirm anything Nicks Pluming/AC was saying. They fixed the issue for there standard service call and if it keeps reoccuring the expansion valve and vacuum needs to be done.
