While doing the inspection, the technician found that one duct had come completely off and he was able to fix it right then, which I appreciated. While I did not end up using them to seal all of the ductwork, I will definitely use them again for other issues that come up. Allen arrived in time checked out the entire A/C system asked about previous servicing that had been performed, quickly diagnosed the problem, had the required parts on hand and repaired the blower motor on the spot. We had our AC go out in the heat of the summer and called Rey's to get a diagnosis. The fee was very reasonable at $69. The tech came out, and unfortunately I had some problems with how the service was completed. The reason I am rating this company highly is because I respectfully expressed my concerns to Jesus, the owner, and he immediately refunded my the $69 and discussed with me all the issues. This is the mark of an honest and knowledgeable business. More details below about the actual issues I had: It turned out to be a bad capacitor (as I suspected, and this is often a failure mode), but I asked the tech to check some other aspects of the system that he wasn't able to do because he said he needed to replace the capacitor before checking anything else. I am an engineer and handy, so I was shocked at the cost quoted to me to simply replace the capacitor. He was upfront and honest about all the pricing and the policies he had to abide by. However, there are other things that I wish he would have checked like the winding resistances of the compressor, visual inspections, whether coolant was in the system or not, the attic unit, etc. Anyway, I expected a full inspection but that was not the policy they follow - once they find an issue then their work diagnosing is done. Contacted Rey's Air Solutions through Yelp for an emergency a/c repair on a Sunday afternoon. They responded in less than 15 minutes that they could come the following morning between 8-10. Our Tech, Eric, was able to repair the issue on the spot and gave us some good tips/advice for when we need to do a full unit replacement, as well as how to get better air flow into some of the bedrooms. After a lot of research and working with numerous HVAC contractors over the last few years, I can honestly say that the Yelp reviews for Rey's are absolutely accurate and I also highly recommend them. Two of our rental properties have had a number of HVAC issues and, in particular, a newly installed mini-split system in one of the properties. It is has been hard to find really qualified and experienced technicians for mini-split systems, but can't say enough about Eric at Rey's and his ability to both diagnose and repair the mini-split system. Separately, had an ongoing issue with a traditional HVAC system in a second property and a different technician came out and quickly diagnosed five separate issues and repaired it in short order. The original HVAC contractor that installed the mini-split system (improperly) also had 5 star Yelp reviews, but in this case the 5 star Yelp reviews for Rey's are well earned and deserved. read more

I headed to Yelp and found all the glowing reviews for Rey's - they aren't wrong! Rey's was responsive and able to send someone the same day I called. They quickly diagnosed the issue and let me know it could take some time to locate the part due to the age of the system. They were able to locate the part and provided me an ETA for installation. In parallel, I asked them to provide a quote for a brand new system. The quote was reasonable, had an installation opening that week and they handled everything from A-Z! I especially liked they arranged the permit and inspections with the City of Roseville. This team was responsive, cleaned up after their work and stayed in excellent communication throughout the process. I now have a wifi enabled heating/air system I can control from my phone. I switched to them after another company told me I needed to replace my HVAC system and they came out and gave me a free assessment and told me it was fine (and showed me their testing that showed that).
