Provided service today and was exceptional. We were given a 12p-2p arrival time and he arrived at 11:58am and knocked on the door exactly at 12p. He was thorough and clean. He took a ton of photos and reviewed all the photos with me to ensure I knew how things worked, what he did and why. Their AC quote was WAY above other two bids. If you want endless unwanted email spam, contact RAS. I asked the guy who visited our home if they were going to use email. He dishonestly replied no. I have asked them four times, to stop emailing me to no avail. Plus the guy that came out was awful. We will be complaining to other consumer sources as well. read more

Allen Suetos came to diagnose my AC unit. I insisted that there was a leak, but after running a diagnostic, my technician determined that my wires were switched from the install. This discovery saved me over $1,000 compared to my initial thought. Allen was very resourceful regarding the AC unit and showed great respect for my home by wearing shoe coverings, despite my messy floors. He had a relaxed and easy-going demeanor. We had our AC go out in the heat of the summer and called Rey's to get a diagnosis. The fee was very reasonable at $69. The tech came out, and unfortunately I had some problems with how the service was completed. The reason I am rating this company highly is because I respectfully expressed my concerns to Jesus, the owner, and he immediately refunded my the $69 and discussed with me all the issues. This is the mark of an honest and knowledgeable business. More details below about the actual issues I had: It turned out to be a bad capacitor (as I suspected, and this is often a failure mode), but I asked the tech to check some other aspects of the system that he wasn't able to do because he said he needed to replace the capacitor before checking anything else. I am an engineer and handy, so I was shocked at the cost quoted to me to simply replace the capacitor. He was upfront and honest about all the pricing and the policies he had to abide by. However, there are other things that I wish he would have checked like the winding resistances of the compressor, visual inspections, whether coolant was in the system or not, the attic unit, etc. Anyway, I expected a full inspection but that was not the policy they follow - once they find an issue then their work diagnosing is done. While doing the inspection, the technician found that one duct had come completely off and he was able to fix it right then, which I appreciated. While I did not end up using them to seal all of the ductwork, I will definitely use them again for other issues that come up.
