If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would. We all work hard to earn money, but misleading customers and ruining their belongings is unacceptable. I trusted them to repair my kids' gold chains, and instead, they permanently damaged them. I can't use them anymore. They charged $100 just to roughly solder the broken ends, and the areas they worked on were left black,they didn't even bother to polish them. This is not professional work. What upset me the most is that instead of taking responsibility, apologizing, or offering a refund, they told me to go buy a stronger chain. That response says everything. I unfortunately didn't have a good experience selling a collection of coins with David. He told me on the phone that he would go over the coins with me and help me with their value. I thought we would spend at least an hour or so together. He even asked me to come in a few hours before they closed so he would have time. When I got there, he acted as if he was in a huge rush and had to leave. He didn't look at any of them. He told me silver was up over 200%, then offered me less than half of their actual value. Shout out to David. We needed my engagement ring re done and he took the princess cut diamond and remade the whole thing while keeping the design the exact way we wanted. I was so happy and impressed. It took a lot longer than expected but 5 stars all around! He made wax molds and showed us throughout the process and we made small changes and he was more than happy to create a new mold to show us to make sure it was perfect before he actually custom built the ring. Every time I have a little jewelry problem (broken clasp, new watch battery needed, something amiss with an earring that won't hang the right way), the staff at Executive has helped me out quickly, efficiently, and without charging me an arm and a leg. Today was no exception. I've been trying to thread the wrist holder through my camera for, oh, about four years now. I went in to find a plain ring. The middle-aged man working behind the counter took out a set of rings for me to try on. I was trying to figure out my size and had to ask him what the sizes of each ring was. He handed me the same ring several times and told me it was a size 5.5, 5.25, and 5.0 three different times. He did this with other rings as well. After trying on about 5 (different rings), he finally took out a ring sizer and let me put my finger through a size 5.0 and 5.5 slot. He frowned the entire time and I felt like I was wasting his time. Montrose Jewelers Manufacturers Inc is no better. Don't bother going to either of these stores. read more

The strap for my five year old Swatch recently broke, and the Swatch store in the Galleria went out of business. I was finally able to locate a replacement strap on Amazon, but I had no idea how to put it on by myself. I knew there were jewelry stores in Montrose so I drove down and walked along Honolulu Avenue until I found an open one. Mr. Anserlian of Executive Jewelers could not have been nicer. It was such a minor job for them, but they happily replaced the band and didn't even keep me waiting. Not only that, but when I went to pay him, he wouldn't even take my money! That's certainly not the case for all jewelry stores. I've been wearing Swatches for over 30 years, and have always had difficulty getting someone to replace the straps. (no pun intended) I had the pleasure to meet Arman (and his lovely family) when my Hermes keychain broke. Arman fixed the problem with ease. We started to talk about Rolex watches. I have a small collection of old Rolexes. Arman is a certified/trained Rolex service person. I could tell immediately that Arman was trained by the best and sincerely LOVED his work. When someone loves what they do, they usually are very good at what they do. I was right, Arman is VERY VERY good at his profession. Then one day one I cracked the crystal of my prized Rolex Submariner (red dial, 1960's). Normally, I would go to Beverly Hills and give the watch to a "fancy" Rodeo Drive jeweler to send to Rolex. Then I remembered my experience with Arman. I decided to give my beautiful Rolex Sub to Arman to fix. And I am very glad I did! Arman repaired the crystal and serviced the elements to Rolex standards, which is perfection. He kept me informed on each step and was very aware of my desire to maintain the integrity of the watch and the beautiful patina. As a fellow watch collector and perfectionist, we shared the same obsession and love of these fine time pieces. When I picked up my watch, Arman gave me a tour of his workshop. It was like stepping into a NASA clean room! The space is packed with all the latest and greatest tools for working on Rolex watches. His work is meticulous and exhaustively comprehensive. And Arman's passion for what he does is wonderful to see. So, after repairing my Submariner, I decided to give all my Rolex watches to Arman for cleaning and repair. We are on our second Rolex and I will be back to him for all my jewelry needs. It's wonderful to have Arman and his family business in Montrose. I had David design my wedding band as well as set a rubies my fiance had given me into a necklace and earrings. I told him generally what I liked, and the result was absolutely beautiful. Not only was the result great, but he worked with me throughout the process. He brought me in to see drawings and his 3D model along the way. Also, he gave me an extremely fair price and helped to keep it in budget. Of note, make sure you a lot plenty of time for design. It took around 10 weeks to get the ring back, then another 3 to get the rubies, but it was well worth the wait! I am happy to wear that ring for the rest of my life and I would absolutely recommend Executive Jeweler! read more

I left an 18 inch pearl necklace with a broken string to be fixed, and they gave me back a 16+inch pearl necklace, claiming that the necklace was shorter because the new string was tighter, and in a couple of years of wear, it would stretch and be the same length. At minimum, they did a sloppy job and lost the missing pearls or misplaced my entire necklace. At maximum, they intentionally stole the missing pearls or my entire necklace. My husband bought the necklace from them 20+ years ago. Apparently, they now make more money deceiving their old clients. read more
