I visited this RH Rooftop in Charlotte yesterday, and overall I had a good experience. The place was very busy around 11 in the morning, but the restaurant was clean and had a very nice environment. Our waitress had made a few mistake, like bringing my friend's drink incorrectly catching a little attitude.. but she was also kind and fixed the issues. The food was very good, flavorful and somewhat seasoned. Service was very good despite how busy it was. The scenery was beautiful, and it's a nice place to take pictures. The only downside is that there was bugs flying around. Overall the restaurant smelled very nice, the music was good, and my visit was good. I would come back!

The atmosphere and service of this place is top notch, I think it would be hard to beat in Charlotte. If you like truffle fries, this spot MUST go on your list. After that, everything kind of takes a step down. My $50+ 7oz steak was overcooked and potato was lukewarm, not able to melt the cheese on it. The food was good but for the price they're charging, it's all going into the atmosphere and service.

Hey Yelp fam! I'm back in the Queen City, and this time we dined at RH to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was excellent attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was equally impressive, and while this location is definitely on the pricier side, it is well worth the money for the overall experience. The vibes inside were peaceful and elevated, with a beautiful ambiance that made the evening feel special. It's also a perfect spot to catch the sunset while enjoying your meal, which really added to the experience. As for the food: My sister ordered the branzino, fish along with a Caesar salad topped with shrimp (available for an additional cost). My brother-in-law chose the chicken, and they shared a side of broccoli. Of course I forgot to take pictures of my own food, but I was able to snaps one of my sister and brother in law. Overall, RH delivered on service, atmosphere, and quality. If you're looking for a refined dining experience with great food and a stunning setting, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

Beautiful restaurant on the top floor of Restoration Hardware. Very date night or special occasion vibes. Most everyone was dressed up. There is no bar to sit at or order a drink at if your table isn't ready. Food was ok/good but for the prices I was expecting more of a wow factor. You can take the stairs or elevator to access the restaurant.

This is a stunning restaurant. The ambiance is beautiful it feels peaceful if you want to impress somebody this is definitely a place to do it. I think this is better for lunch than for dinner. I didn't love the dinner options until I ended up going with the salad. The salad was very good though the chicken was not done well. My husband had a salmon and that also was just okay. The service was great and we really liked our waiter.

RH Rooftop was truly breathtaking from start to finish. The moment we walked in, the elegant and professional atmosphere made the entire experience feel upscale and memorable. The décor is absolutely stunning -- everything from the lighting to the greenery to the luxurious details creates the perfect backdrop for a beautiful night out. The service was attentive and polished, and the food was genuinely delicious. Every dish we ordered was full of flavor and beautifully presented, making the whole dinner feel special. It's one of those places where the ambiance and the food work together to create an unforgettable experience. RH Rooftop is the perfect spot for a romantic date night. The views are gorgeous, the vibe is classy, and the whole place just feels magical. We will most definitely be back -- it's easily one of my new favorite places to eat!

RH Rooftop Restaurant at RH Charlotte, North Carolina   ⁣   I visited South and North Carolina last week and met up with some familiar faces and met new ones, as well. I've previously mentioned that one of my foodie goals is to visit all the RH restaurants. This is my second one, so far, and I love how everything is so similar when it comes to the service, the ambiance and decor. Nicole was my server, and she was nothing more than a gem. Her attentiveness and generosity was truly one of a kind. I ordered the rosé spritz , lobster roll and truffle fries. Everything was simply amazing and delicious. Before I left, Nicole came back with this salted chocolate chip cookie and to-go water cup to help me stay awake on my long drive. This is what you call amazing service.     If you're ever in Charlotte, North Carolina, I highly recommend this place and make reservations ahead of time.   ⁣

Went here for a family dinner. I ordered the salmon and it was amazing! This is important ad I tend to be very picky about salmon. Other dishes included steak, chicken. Sides included various types of fries (sweet potato fries, and truffle fries). We also got desserts- the banana split was extremely rich and was split between two people without being able to finish it. The chocolate chip cookies were a little salty but otherwise textured well with just the right amount of chocolate added. They have gluten free options and the waiter took note of my gluten free needs. The service was adequate. We did have to wait a while for drinks to be refilled throughout dinner. It was loud with all of the people but also it was prom time so likely louder than it would typically be. Loved the sunset views!

I actually visited RH Rooftop Restaurant in July of 2023. The restaurant is located in South Charlotte on top of a furniture store. Parking was free. The furniture store is beautiful and as you head up the elevator you are reconsidering decorating your home. Once you arrive at the restaurant you automatically transport from Charlotte to Miami as soon as the doors open. The views are amazing and makes for great photos ops! We were a large party and the restaurant were well prepared and we were seated immediately. The food amd service was delicious. Out group was celebrating the life of two twin Leo's!! Overall, I was more impressed with the look and feel of the restaurant than anything. The restaurant also has a wide reaching wine list. I would love to come back here for brunch or date night!

Ask the Community - RH Rooftop Restaurant at RH Charlotte

    Are the prices good?

They aren't a "low cost" restaurant but they are "high value."

Is it okay to be seated on the rooftop in December ? If not what are some other nice places in Charlotte with a city view?

Warning - Detailed (worth it)! Peppervine - Southpark…read more My daughter took me to Peppervine for the first time for Mother's Day. On Saturday though. What an incredible experience! We got there at approximately 5:15pm free parking a short walk from the restaurant. The area is extremely clean, quiet, there were people out, but it was not crowded or busy at all. We were seated immediately, and I could see into the kitchen as the staff worked on preparing our meals. Extremely clean, I loved the decor, the environment, even the music was wonderful. Very calming and level. Service was stellar. OK now the food?! Pimento Cheese Scones Thai Spareribs Mussels Scallops Pork Tenderloin Lemon Poppyseed Zeppolis Butterscotch Pot de Crème I ordered the pimento cheese scones, which were excellent and went beautifully with the sauce that the mussels and the scallops were in! You get one piece of crostini for the mussels and it was gone, of course. Those scones? I scooped up every bit of sauce in both seafood dishes. It was THAT good! INCREDIBLE! I begged the manager to please please do not take the mussels or the scallops off the menu! Apparently, they rotate menu items regularly. I could not get over the seafood, neither one of us could stop talking about the size of the mussels. The freshness, the texture was perfect. I love seafood? Hands down. Those were the best mussels I have had anywhere. They were out of the shell and I'm not gonna lie. I was a little nervous when I first saw them. Honestly? We will go back and there will be more than one order of mussels to go around if they're still on the menu! He did share that they brought them in from Maine and explained the location that they were purchased from was very controlled. Pristine. Can I just tell you? It showed! We ordered the Thai spare rib, which was cooked perfectly and so tender it came right off the bone. A balanced and even flavor as well. We will definitely order those again if they have them. I had the pork tenderloin with dirty rice stuffed cabbage. It was fresh and beautifully cooked, but my daughter enjoyed it more than I did. That by the way is a personal preference I just felt after having the seafood? Nothing was going to compare. My daughter had the scallops again that cream sauce was just phenomenal! It was definitely different ingredients different flavor than the sauce used with the mussels, but they've got a winning recipe. Let me tell you. The pimento cheese scones were the best compliment to the sauces and the seafood dishes. Not to forget the spreads that they brought with the pimento cheese scones. They were excellent as well. Last we had dessert and I ordered the lemon poppyseed Zeppoli's, which were good. I felt they could've been a little lighter on the inside. They were slightly gummy, but the flavor was excellent. Again, a personal taste, especially being Italian and having them homemade by family. My daughter's dessert was to die for. Butterscotch Pot De Crème. Seriously, the ingredients they used and the combination of flavors. It was just spot on! I don't think any other dessert would've compared - it just really stood out and we ordered it on the recommendation of our wonderful server. He said it definitely was a favorite and he was right. I will be going back to Peppervine and I highly recommend it however, the seafood is what did it for me. That was my absolute favorite.

As someone based in Seattle and not attending in person, I spent considerable time researching restaurants in Charlotte that could accommodate a group of 12 executives, offer private or semi-private dining, and meet a high standard of service. The Peppervine exceeded expectations on all fronts. I worked closely with Tommy Trull, who immediately put me at ease. He was incredibly responsive to my (many) emails and even took the time to connect over the phone to walk through menu options and service details. His willingness to collaborate and accommodate our needs made the planning process seamless. Tommy was also very flexible--he thoughtfully adjusted the menu to accommodate food sensitivities, and when our headcount changed at the last minute, he allowed the group to order off the menu instead of sticking to the pre-selected options. They also offered a very reasonable food and beverage minimum, especially given the level of service and flexibility provided. Our guests had a fantastic experience, and everything was executed flawlessly. Peppervine is an excellent choice for business dining, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

That's exactly what drew me to The Southern Pecan in SouthPark. Here in the South, they call it country fried steak, and I'm happy to report this one did not disappoint. I met a colleague there for lunch, and everything about the experience felt easy from the start. The restaurant is located in Phillips Place, a lovely little shopping area that feels a bit polished and upscale--with shops like Orvis, Tory Burch, and even a Restoration Hardware restaurant nearby. They do offer valet parking, which is a nice touch, though honestly parking is easy enough on your own. We had reservations through OpenTable and were seated on the patio, which was absolutely delightful for this time of year in Charlotte. The weather was perfect, the setting was relaxed, and the service started off warm and welcoming right away. Now, the food. The country fried steak was beautifully cooked--crispy on the outside, tender inside, and served with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy that hit all the nostalgic notes from my Texas upbringing. I paired it with a vegetable side (I believe it was broccoli or corn), and it was a classic Southern plate done right. We also enjoyed a couple of cocktails, and to finish, we split a praline bread pudding, which felt like the perfect Southern ending to the meal--sweet, comforting, and indulgent without being overwhelming. The staff was friendly and attentive, and one of the things I continue to appreciate about Charlotte is how easy it is to connect with people. We even chatted with diners at nearby tables, which added to that welcoming, community feel that makes dining out here so enjoyable--especially for someone coming from the Bay Area. Prices felt fair for the quality, the setting, and the portion sizes, and overall the experience left a great impression. Bottom line: If you're craving a solid Southern classic like country fried steak--or just want a relaxed patio lunch in a charming part of SouthPark--The Southern Pecan is definitely worth a visit. And as someone happily eating my way through Charlotte and the Southeast, this stop was another reminder that the journey has been a delicious one.

The bartender Jay is always on it, he has a great memory, and will put in your order before you get the words out. It was easy to make a reservation on their website, and I recommend a reservation as it was very busy on a Saturday night. The interior has quite an upscale feeling with dim lighting and an overall premium feeling. I was seated right away, and the server was quite helpful and friendly. I had the charred grapefruit cocktail which was flavorful and balanced. Delicious! I was curious about the deviled eggs, and the server mentioned that I could try a half order. They were delicious! The sugar bacon accompanying them was truly delicious as well! I also had the house salad with honey mustard dressing which was a delicious salad with fresh vegetables, eggs, and bacon! For an entree I had the "prime meatloaf" which had a very nice presentation (see photo). I substituted a baked potato with bacon and chives. The potato was delicious with a perfectly fluffy filling. The meatloaf was flavorful and tender, but the sauce was a bit salty and overpowered the meatloaf. Maybe ask for the sauce on the side if you try this dish. For dessert I had the key lime pie. It had a wonderfully tart, custardy filling. The macadamia nut crust was almost a little bit too crunchy, and I would've preferred a more traditional graham cracker crust. Overall, this was a very tasty dining experience!
