Even with the rain pouring outside, the restaurant was completely full -- chandeliers glowing, fountain flowing, conversations everywhere. My husband chose this place again for his birthday dinner... We arrived for dinner RSVP at 6 pm, and the place was bustling. It seemed it was prom night, and there were many well dressed kids (mostly girls...with dates?). In any case, the place was gorgeous as usual...and as usual, the menu was a bit offputting. The price points are truly outlandish for what you get here. An example? A basic burger is 24 bucks...without fries! Truly, you're paying an extra 15 bucks or more for the ambiance. Pricing aside, even the options on the menu was a bit of a head scratcher. Honestly, there's barley a thing on there that appealed to me. Well, it used to be the Lobster Roll...but I had that a few times, and frankly, it's just not that good. It's small, and the bread is too hard...and again, despite the outlandish pricing, it doesn't even come with any sides. If this was any other restaurant, I'd probably just want to walk out. But then, there's the ambiance! Even that was a bit of an issue for me. On this night, there was hardly any music playing...and if so, it was on so low that I could barely hear it. There goes part of the ambiance...at least for me! My husband got his usual...the French Roasted Chicken, my son got the Roasted Sandwich, and I got the Shaved Ribeye Dip. We also ordered the Fries and the Creme Brulee for dessert. Well, more than ever, we all were extremely disappointed. First of all, my husband's dish looked nothing like it used to...paled in comparison in taste and presentation! In fact, afterwards, he said he'll never choose this place again to celebrate his birthday! My son and I just felt our sandos were OK at best...and really for its ridiculous price point, they were bordering bad. The bits of salad with our hand-helds were Argula...pretty, but possibly one of my least favorite veggie? Fries were good...but priced separately for $11-12 bucks, they should be! Then even the dessert was abysmal. Most creme brulees come with fruits...or some type of topping. Not here! Just a basic creme brulee. SO basic...with 1 ugly candle for my husband's birthday. It wasn't complimentary either. Just a DUD all the way through! As gorgeous as this place is, I'm just not sure if their foods are worth it anymore. BTW, for drinks, I got this Orange Cocktail (Blah!), and my husband got some beer (?). Again, nothing special. If this place cares to up their game, they should try harder...but apparently, they don't. In fact, it seems things are getting worse. I mean, just look at the recent Roasted Chicken plate...TERRIBLE!!! One thing positive is that we managed to get some good birthday pictures out of this fancy schmancy scene with good lighting....but the rest of it was just beyond underwhelming. Beautiful space and consistently wonderful food. I've been to RH Rooftop many times, and they never miss. The dishes are always fresh and beautifully plated, the staff is warm and attentive, and the ambiance is truly unmatched. One quick heads‑up for anyone who enjoys a drink: they only serve wine and beer. Fortunately, the wine list is fantastic, and their spritzers are definitely worth trying. I visited this RH Rooftop in Charlotte yesterday, and overall I had a good experience. The place was very busy around 11 in the morning, but the restaurant was clean and had a very nice environment. Our waitress had made a few mistake, like bringing my friend's drink incorrectly catching a little attitude.. but she was also kind and fixed the issues. The food was very good, flavorful and somewhat seasoned. Service was very good despite how busy it was. The scenery was beautiful, and it's a nice place to take pictures. The atmosphere and service of this place is top notch, I think it would be hard to beat in Charlotte. If you like truffle fries, this spot MUST go on your list. After that, everything kind of takes a step down. My $50+ 7oz steak was overcooked and potato was lukewarm, not able to melt the cheese on it. Hey Yelp fam! I'm back in the Queen City, and this time we dined at RH to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was excellent attentive, friendly, and professional. The food was equally impressive, and while this location is definitely on the pricier side, it is well worth the money for the overall experience. The vibes inside were peaceful and elevated, with a beautiful ambiance that made the evening feel special. It's also a perfect spot to catch the sunset while enjoying your meal, which really added to the experience. As for the food: My sister ordered the branzino, fish along with a Caesar salad topped with shrimp (available for an additional cost). I've previously mentioned that one of my foodie goals is to visit all the RH restaurants. This is my second one, so far, and I love how everything is so similar when it comes to the service, the ambiance and decor. Nicole was my server, and she was nothing more than a gem. Her attentiveness and generosity was truly one of a kind. I ordered the rosé spritz , lobster roll and truffle fries. Everything was simply amazing and delicious. Before I left, Nicole came back with this salted chocolate chip cookie and to-go water cup to help me stay awake on my long drive. Went here for a family dinner. I ordered the salmon and it was amazing! This is important ad I tend to be very picky about salmon. Other dishes included steak, chicken. Sides included various types of fries (sweet potato fries, and truffle fries). We also got desserts- the banana split was extremely rich and was split between two people without being able to finish it. The chocolate chip cookies were a little salty but otherwise textured well with just the right amount of chocolate added. They have gluten free options and the waiter took note of my gluten free needs. The service was adequate. We did have to wait a while for drinks to be refilled throughout dinner. I actually visited RH Rooftop Restaurant in July of 2023. The restaurant is located in South Charlotte on top of a furniture store. Parking was free. The furniture store is beautiful and as you head up the elevator you are reconsidering decorating your home. Once you arrive at the restaurant you automatically transport from Charlotte to Miami as soon as the doors open. The views are amazing and makes for great photos ops! We were a large party and the restaurant were well prepared and we were seated immediately. The food amd service was delicious. Out group was celebrating the life of two twin Leo's!! Overall, I was more impressed with the look and feel of the restaurant than anything. The restaurant also has a wide reaching wine list. Its design and art forward offering a unique experience that blends residential design inspiration with dining. The ambiance is calming with a center fountain spectacle. It's an upscale restaurant with typical American food offerings. It's a picturesque setting with gorgeous crystal chandeliers and grape trees. I had the arugula salad with grapes and shrimp. We came here for a friend's birthday. The ambiance is very picture-worthy with chandeliers EVERYWHERE. This is the most beautiful restaurant I've ever seen. My only complaint were the restrooms. There is only ONE restroom strictly for Ladies and that is the handicapped one. There is also a Men's handicapped restroom. Other than those, the other 6 are simply labeled "restroom" which I assume either could use and that's just nasty. When you are spending nearly $100 a person, you would expect "fine dining treatment". Not treatment as if you are at a gas station in the middle of no where. If they would simply label one side as Women and the other side of the hall as Men, this would alleviate the problem. Until then, ewwww. Most of us got their lobster roll ($34). The bread was buttered and toasted perfectly. There was quite a bit of lobster and it tasted great. I got the broccolini as a side ($13) and it was fabulous. I opted for Rose Lemonade ($7/ bottle) and it was very good. Others got very expensive cocktails for what they were (example: $19 bellini in a champagne glass). Again, this place is not cheap... so I have no idea why they don't give women their own restroom private space. It's not like they can't afford it, or don't have enough room and are trying to skimp in order to save money. If they would have better facilities, this restaurant could be 5 stars. Our waiter was pleasant and handled 8 of us ladies well. The seating was extremely comfortable and plush. In addition to chandeliers, there is a fountain in the middle of the restaurant and fake shrubbery separates each table grouping for a feel of seclusion. There is aiso a patio for summer. Some of us would have ordered dessert, but there wasn't much that they had to offer. Only ice cream, sorbet, or a salty chocolate chip cookie ($10) (which was given to the birthday girl and was horrible). I guess that's why they don't offer dessert when they can't even manage a cookie. We ordered a charcuterie board and it was a small serving for 8 women at $7.50 / person. See photo: small piece of hard cheese, medium serving of soft cheese, 2 soft, small baguettes, one small serving of strawberry jam, 3 pieces of prosciutto. At $7.50 each for 8 women, that's $60 for this little thing ! Overall, come here if you want to impress someone with beauty. However, encourage them to wait to go to the restroom until after you leave and get dessert elsewhere. Expect to spend alot more on simple things. Even a burger was over $22 and did not come with a side. Sweet potato fries are $10 extra. Truffle fries are $20. They will automatically charge you gratuity for larger parties, which is usual nowadays, so be mindful of your bill that it is already included. read more

RH Rooftop is just gorgeous. Come cute because you're def going to want to take pics! I absolutely loved the aesthetic and also the drinks. Matcha latte was lovely. The rosé spritz, which our server explained was newly-added to the menu, was delightful. The brunch menu has a mix of breakfast foods as well as salads and more lunchy foods like sandwiches. I got the RH Scramble, which was super soft scrambled eggs with chives, avocado, and toast. I really enjoyed the butter with flaky salt this came with. The portion was large and food prepared well, but overall not very pricey ingredients, and this dish costs over $20. We're paying for vibes, folks! The lobster salad was literally a handful of claw meat over a head of butter lettuce, They forgot the avocado and the dressing! 4 ingredients and they left off 2!! the Bavette steak is a small piece of strip steak,that they give a fancy name to, cut into about 6 pieces.! the server brought over the dessert menu and 2 minutes later brought us the check?? After calling her over and asking what she was doing bringing the check, She basically had no answer except "i know" (???). we did get a chance to order dessert and cappuccinos(which were cold)BTW the coffee does not come with any sweetener you must ask for sugar or sweetener (I never heard of this at a restaurant) and cappuccinos do not come with cinnamon unless you ask as well. 4 people spending close to $400 for this?? I came here on a nice Monday afternoon and I think a few people were off either due to the holiday or self care time. This was a nice place to chat with a friend. The layout is beautiful. Do not expect an extensive menu...but what they do here they do it well. My friend and I shared the shrimp cocktail. I had a peach bellini and the burger. She had the shaved ribeye sandwich and a iced caramel latte. We split truffle fries. I do think they should use the old container to serve truffle fries. All of the goodness is at the top and you loose it towards the bottom. Our food was very good. She added sugar to her latte. The aesthetics are nice here. Good to walk around and wish away your lottery winnings. I would love to come again, especially when its warmer and the windows are open. read more

Second time visiting RH in Charlotte and happy to say it was fabulously consistent. The ambiance is reason to visit with the rooftop and outside dining, trees, fountains and beautiful lighting indoors. We ordered the the crispy artichokes which is yummy and couldn't wait to enjoy, charred ribeye (medium rare cooked to perfection) and salmon entree with broccolini and mushrooms for sides. Every dish we had was delicious, albeit the branzino, broccolini & potatoes were all a bit on the saltier side but not unbearably so. But both the salmon & branzino were cooked perfectly. The branzino skin was crispy while the inside was moist and tender. My friend's salmon was cooked to perfect temp but I think this could have actually used salt or something. The prosciutto board was good. Melt in your mouth prosciutto, the parmesan was good but had a slight, chemical taste? I'm not sure what I was tasting. The butterscotch brûlée was yummy, but no satisfying crack. I also tried a nonalcoholic reisling which was surprisingly good & tasted like the real thing. 7:30pm reservation, likely seated around 8-815pm. Was a bit busy- prom night crowd. Great waiter with outstanding personality, very attentive until later on when a couple of servers must have left and the remaining staff took over their tables..... then the tail end of our dinner dragged on. Food quality was very nice, simple preparations, fried artichokes were a little over done and the grilled shrimp might have sat under the heat lamps for a little too long. We had a lot of fun and in the end we were all stuffed. Highlights of the meal were the grilled ribeye and filet, the lobster is always tender and tasty. Service was nice. Definitely a peculiar aroma wafting through the air, (that I'm the only one who detected) smelled like some food was swept under the bench seats and forgotten about or perhaps someone earlier in the day spilled some wine and it wasn't cleaned properly.... Regardless, it was definitely a sanitation thing. Upon being seated, my son and I both noticed the squashed seafood underfoot... it's dimly lit and the tables needed to be turned quickly because of the wait. Desserts were to die for and if you've never tried freshly brewed espresso over vanilla ice cream.....you're going to be in gastronomical ecstasy!!!!
