The interior was beautiful and it was great being able to explore the open rooftop during a beautiful summer day in Dallas. The food is pricy however, I feel you are paying for the experience to eat at one of RH's many restaurants. Be sure to make a reservation several weeks prior to ensure you won't have to wait. Restoration Hardware Rooftop Restaurant ("RH Rooftop") is a great place for a special occasion with your family or for a girls lunch/dinner. We have been to the Chicago location and had not tried the Dallas location. We loved both places and are happy to have one in Dallas so we can go more often. Most of the dining area is indoor, but they do have a beautiful outdoor space. The day we went, it was raining, but we will return to enjoy the outdoor space. When we arrived, we had a few minutes to wait for the rest of our party to arrive, so we went to the bar to have a drink. This is when I realized they only serve beer and wine. I wish they had more alcohol selections, even if it was just a minimum selection of the most popular spirits (vodka, rum, whiskey and tequila). Our reservation was in the morning, so mimosas and Bellinis were available, but it would have been a nice bonus to have the option of a Screwdriver or a Bloody Mary, just a thought. We did got a cappuccino and it was very good! When our other friends arrived, we were seated immediately. Our table was beautifully set and there was a lot of room for our large party of 7. The menu was very similar to the Chicago location which was nice due to the fact that one of the reasons we were returning was for a particular item on the menu, the RH Scramble add Black Forest bacon. We ordered it again and it was amazing!!! Our other friends ordered a Shaved Ribeye Sandwich, Truffled Grilled Cheese, Cesar Salad and Truffle Fries. All was very good. We will definitely return. My only complaint, which is something that I normally would not even notice or comment, but the service was very slow. The restaurant was not busy and I always want to give the server the benefit if the doubt. (Maybe he or she is new to the position and needs more time to learn). We had great service when we were able to get our server to come to the table, but service was unusually slow. I understand in a more upscale restaurant the service is supposed to be slow so everyone can enjoy their time and don't feel rushed, but we were waiting long periods of time between courses and for the check. It was our first time here and we both enjoyed our meal there. The ambiance is top notch. The beautiful chandeliers and indoor/outdoor feel is in a class all its own. We had the RH cheeseburger, the lobster roll, the bacon, the fried artichoke, and the grilled cheese. Everything was delicious! The fried artichoke and the lobster roll were the scene stealers of the meal, but everything else was very good and was all well prepared. The building is beautiful and has plenty of photo opportunities for those into that sort of thing. Set in the stunning Restoration Hardware, I don't think any restaurant in Dallas has a better first impression. However, having been several times, it is quite expensive for what it is. The entrees are a la carte, and fairly expensive. The salmon was delicious, but for the price I would have a hard time recommending. The fruit and cheese board was one cheese and a couple grapes and priced in the mid $20's. Yes, it's gorgeous, but so are many restaurants around town so it's a must to have something stellar to set your restaurant apart. Service is always attentive and great. This rooftop restaurant is a must visit when in Dallas. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a fountain as the centerpiece and an abundance of natural light. I was brought here for a late Valentine's Day dinner with friends. The atmosphere is very romantic and quiet. The parking is valet. The first floor is furniture and the second floor is the restaurant with beautiful patio style outdoor seating. It has great views of the city especially at night. It is a nice date night type of place. Con's open parking is limited. Valet isn't complimentary. The menu is very limited and a bit pricy for the small quantity of food you receive. Even the party next to us was talking about going to McDonalds afterwards. Which reminds me of the close seating that has you sharing a bench with your neighbors to the point where you don't really have privacy. Especially if your neighbor has trouble with their indoor voice. Overall the place is good for drinks and conversation along with the ambiance. It's been 2 months since I've been to Rooftop but it's still fresh in my mind and I'm dying to go back. We made a reservation but apparently it didn't go through. However, the staff immediately sat us regardless. Thank you for not making that an issue. Our server was the sweetest and very fun. She gave great recommendations and really helped us as we had our two littles in this fancy, fancy place and we were worried there'd be nothing simple enough for their tastes. My littles loved their grilled cheese (truffles removed - thank you!) and fries, the chocolate chip cookies (dreamy), and most of all their lemonades served in flutes. There was something super cute about little girls drinking their fruit drinks like it was New Year's. Like it was an episode of Bluey or a Fancy Nancy book, lol. The RH Burger is top quality and outstanding flavor. Nothing exotic. It's nice and simple, and incredibly delicious. Also super huge - big enough to share. The Shaved Ribeye on Charred Garlic Bread was my favorite. Every bite my eyelids would squint in amazement of the flavors. I just couldn't have been happier. Rooftop has the most elegant and open ambiance I've ever experienced in a restaurant. A lot of thought and planning went into creating a unique dining environment and I think it effectively brought more joy to the whole experience. It's actually another reason I can't wait to return. I've been to the NY location many times and the Dallas one is on par with the NY one in terms of ambiance and quality. I give it one star less as it is a pricy place for what it is, but the food still meets the standard. For appetizer we ordered the burrata and truffle fries for the table. The burrata comes with bread and roasted peppers, which were amazing. Truffle fries are definitely the most expensive fries I've ordered ($20) but comes with a dipping sauce and Parmesan cheese on the top. For entrees we ordered the lobster roll which had ample lobster and not smothered in sauce or celery (my pet peeve). Also got the steak sandwich, one of the better ones I've had as it wasn't greasy and the steak wasn't chewy. They have a limited dessert menu with just gelato and cookies. Both are delicious and would recommend both - when we were there they had mango gelato. The cookie has sea salt sprinkled on the top and was warmed. Went for a birthday brunch with friends. The menu was limited but good. The service was the best part of the event. I had the fancy grilled cheese, Brussels sprouts and we shared fries. My friend had the Avocado Toast which was nothing unique just your normal delight. The Thick Cut Pork Belly Bacon is a huge miss. No one at our table enjoyed it. Exceptional Team Member. I enjoyed a lovely lunch at the RH Knox-Henderson rooftop restaurant last Saturday 11/1/25 near the beautiful, serene fountain. I wanted to write this because I wanted to show my sincere appreciation for a remarkable act of kindness by one of their servers. After enjoying a great lunch, I inadvertently left behind a shopping bag that was placed on the opposite chair while I had my lunch. It had a personally valuable item inside. After I left but was still in the building, and before I even realized I left it behind, this young lady who was serving my table, came running after me with the bag in hand, said she was looking for me, that she was glad to have found me and handed me the bag with care. I have to say, in a world where genuine courtesy can sometimes feel rare, her action was both refreshing and touching. I wish I had asked her name so I could thank her again directly and extend to her my sincerest gratitude. I wanted to love this restaurant because the ambiance is absolutely stunning and I also love Restoration Hardware. Sadly I'm giving my experience a 3.5 because the food was so underwhelming. My table ordered the burrata appetizer which was rich and buttery and the roasted peppers were delicious. I had the Caesar salad with salmon as my entree and, as you can see from the photo, the salmon was dry and over cooked. Flavorless, indeed! I also did not love the presentation of whole romaine leaves. My table also had fries-which we're not crisp and actually no one from my table of 5 ate them. Loved the look of this place. It's so beautiful. I recommend dressing for warmth. When the sun comes through the windows it gets a little warm. The food as good. This is definitely a great spot to go and take pictures, celebrate something or maybe go on a date. But I didn't love the food enough to want to go back just to eat. Our server today was Derrek who was very helpful and patient with us as first time guests. The rooftop restaurant has a nice view and is well designed. It was very comfortable and although it was busy the noise level was not a problem for conversation at our table. The restaurant is completely enclosed with glass, even the ceiling, which would concern me on a hot Texas summer day. It was cloudy today so there was no issue. We had the Burrata appetizer which had roasted peppers with balsamic reduction and was delicious. In fact, it was the best thing of the day for me. I had the hamburger with bacon. It was juicy and well cooked but isn't something that I'd order again. It just didn't stand out as anything special. My husband had the lobster roll and he said it was very good. We also had the truffle fries which were good but better even when paired with the accompanying garlic aioli. The only this this place really has going for it is the aesthetic... went for a work lunch and it was super loud, could not hear our server half of the time. It's on the 3rd floor of the RH in an open greenhouse kind of place. Seriously it's super cute but the food was not worth it. As you can see, the charcuterie board is very lack luster. I've had better and more plentiful boards at other places that were for far cheaper. All of their main dishes are al a carte which I wouldn't mind if it was filling. My coworker ordered the salmon and when it came out, the piece was no bigger than about 4 or 5 inches with a lemon. It was not worth the money for a tiny filet of fish! My lobster was filling and relatively good but again, I've had better elsewhere. It was lacking salt and butter. The sides were only okay, it was nothing memorable since as I write this review, I recall nothing noteworthy about them. The best side were the truffle fries though as many other review have stated. Sadly I hate writing bad reviews but this place was just too expensive for what you get. It's great for pictures and nothing more. Maybe if they upped the dishes a bit or lowered than prices than I would reconsider but otherwise it's a no for me. read more

The RH rooftop is such an elegant experience! I went with some family as a party of 4. We went right at sunset and it was beautiful. The whole building is full of gorgeous interior design showrooms leading up to the rooftop. The menu is a bit limited but still has options for different tastes and diets. Our waiter was Jeremy and he was very professional. I got the cheeseburger with avocado and the basic fries. Everything was delicious. The burger was one of the best restaurant burgers I've had. And the fries were cooked perfectly crispy. It is a pricier venue so just be prepared for that. But it's so worth it to just experience dinner in such an aesthetically pleasing setting. The only thing I liked about RH Rooftop was the atmosphere and the interior! It's definitely so beautiful but food, service and drinks were underwhelming and just super overpriced. We wanted to go for light bites and drinks but the bar has very limited selection. Note that they only serve wine & beer. Food wasn't great either. We got a salmon dish and I was shocked that it didn't come with any kind of sides and it was literally just a block of broiled salmon with one lemon wedge lol For it to cost $36 at an upscale restaurant, you would think they care about how the food and plate is presented but clearly not hahaha and it was under seasoned and so bland. I don't mind paying higher cost for food but I expected more. The food was very basic not special at all for that cost. We asked for more sauce and ordered a side of mashed potatoes because the proportions weren't right. My boyfriend refused to order food at this horrible place but I was starving so I decided to just get the grilled cheese.
