The hostesses were really kind and welcoming. All in all, a great start. Our server, however, truly made the experience a 10/10. Cassi was fantastic. She provided wonderful service, gave us the best recommendations on what to order, and was just overall really pleasant and attentive. I would NOT go to this restaurant. The food is average at best BUT offensively overpriced for what you get. I got a $24 hamburger that was one of the least expensive menu items and it was just about as good as a double from Wendy's. I also got the truffle fries for $20 and they were just "meh." I spent $44 on fries and a hamburger and left thinking I could have gotten better at 5 guys or Smash burger for $12-14. My wife got the chicken for $34, our friend got the chicken salad for $34 and his wife got the steak frites for $55 and everyone was just like... "its fine, but nothing special." On the positive side the restaurant is beautiful and is like sitting in a beautiful atrium, but there are many gorgeous restaurants in Dallas where that sort of money would get you a fantastic meal that is remarkable. This year I chose RH Dallas for my birthday dinner, and it could not have been a more perfect experience. The views and ambiance here are unmatched--absolutely stunning from the moment you walk in. For dinner, I ordered the branzino with the sweet potato, and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the salmon with a side of asparagus, and he loved his meal just as much. We started the night toast-ing to my birthday with their peach Bellinis, which were incredibly refreshing and delicious. The highlight of the evening was dessert. I went with the chocolate chip cookies, and the staff was sweet enough to bring them out with a candle lit for me. It was the perfect backdrop for my husband and daughter to sing happy birthday to me. The entire evening felt so special. While it was wonderful having our daughter with us this time, my husband and I already agreed that the next time we visit, it will be for a dedicated date night just the two of us! Came here for an after work event and we were seated early and quickly. Our waitress took great care of us giving good recommendations on food and bringing it out quickly. The wine she recommend was great. The lamb was delicious and while i thought it wasn't going to be many lamb chops it was plenty. The broccolini has a great flavor and char to it as well. read more

This is my personal favorite restaurant in Dallas. The ambiance is calm, moody lighting, and beautiful chandeliers everywhere. I always take out of town visitors here. The service is always wonderful and they want to celebrate everything with you. We've often been offered a dessert or champagne for coming in for our special occasions. The food is phenomenal. What a great experience for girls day brunch! We made Sunday reservation for 11:30am and arrived early to browse the store beforehand. Man this place is just stunning from floor to ceiling on every floor. Unto the rooftop to be seated for our brunch and oh my goodness the decor is simply stunning! Definitely picturesque!!! We were greeted and promptly seated. There isn't a bad table in the place and a great majority of the floor is covered but you can still see to the sunlight. Our server quickly came and introduced herself and went over the menu with us. Some of us thought we could enjoy some strong libations but be warned they are a beer and wine establishment only. We ordered a board for the table that was so amazing and enjoyed by all, then our entrees for the day. I decided to go with the lobster roll and truffle fries. And OMG what a treat! The bread was grilled and buttered to perfection. The large chunks of lobster were so tasty and plentiful that I just couldn't stop enjoying it. The truffle fries were perfectly fried and full of flavor as expected. I decided on a light dessert to balance out my palate. What a treat and so cooling. There's two sides to this review. Overall, the food was great at RH Rooftop. Our server was very attentive and friendly. She recommended the Buratta as a starter which is a delicious dish dish of roasted red peppers in balsamic, with mozzarella cheese and perfectly toasted sourdough bread. In total, it was $160 for the two of us. On the other hand, we were purposely seated in the corner, closest to the restrooms, when the entire section was empty. We arrived earlier and the restaurant was only half full. I can see no reason why they would seat us at the worst table, in a section that was completely empty, except for the fact that we're Asian. I will never return to this restaurant. Again, our server was great. The hostess should be fired. read more

I've been to RH Rooftop a few times now, and overall it's a beautiful spot with a really nice ambiance. The atmosphere alone makes it feel like a true weekend destination--perfect for brunch or an early dinner, especially if you're looking for something a little more upscale. This visit, I decided to do both brunch and an early dinner. I'll start by saying--yes, it's pricey. You're definitely paying for the experience just as much as the food. For brunch, I ordered the Swedish pancakes and crispy rosemary potatoes. Unfortunately, the potatoes were a miss for me. They came out pretty dry and lacked flavor, which was disappointing given the price point. For dinner, things improved. The grilled shrimp were juicy and well-cooked--definitely a highlight. I also ordered the salmon and swapped the original side for asparagus (which cost an extra $6). Considering how expensive the entrée already was, I expected a decent portion... but I barely got any asparagus, which felt a little ridiculous. I will admit the ambiance is absolutely stunning, however the portion and price point aren't worth it. The truffle fries are hardly a shareable and it's suppose to come with garlic aioli, however after completing the burger and trying to wait on the fries, the garlic aioli didn't come until the end of the meal. The burger was good but not outstanding or large for the price point of $24 with no sides. My date had the lobster roll ($38) which also doesn't come with a side and isn't large, or seasoned, The server was nice. There was confusion upon reaching the actual restaurant bc the reservation was marked for 2 instead of 4, The drinks were okay. Their drinks are primarily wine based and there is no open bar, but the price of a peach Bellini will still mimic that of a ranch water. Overall, would I be back? Probably not, but it was nice to have went. the menu is okay but the portions and price point don't match, you can find plenty of other beautiful venues in Dallas with better food options. read more

There's plenty of greenery and beautiful chandeliers, along with a fountain in the center. It's a picture perfect setting, especially if you love capturing aesthetic moments. It's on the pricer end. You're honestly probably paying more for the atmosphere than you are for the food. We did see a proposal while we were here, which was such a special moment. We had a reservation for 5:45 on a Saturday and were immediately seated upon arrival. I will say that the seats in the booth sections are pretty close together, so it felt a little tight. I was shocked that they don't offer spirits, so I opted for a glass of wine instead. We started with the grilled shrimp and caesar salad. For mains, we ordered the fried chicken sando, petit filet, and broiled king salmon. For sides, we ordered the grilled asparagus and french fries. All of the above were delicious; we had no complaints. For dessert, we ordered the caramelized banana split. They even brought me a complimentary cookie for my birthday, which was so warm and gooey. There's an outdoor lounge style booth seating, but we didn't see anyone seated out there. There's $7 valet parking available. I've been here before for brunch but this was my first time for dinner. This place looks absolutely stunning at night. I went on a Sunday (they close at 8 PM) and it was still pretty packed, so I recommend making a reservation. I was starving so I started with my entrees right away! I ordered the whole grilled branzino olive drizzled in olive oil and lemon. This was really good on its own, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I also ordered the roasted chicken with garlic confit and potato purée. The chicken was a bit dry for my taste but the garlic confit and purée were so flavorful, they made up for it. The highlight, as always, was the lobster sandwich with sweet potato fries, my absolute go-to order. It's consistently outstanding and something I always come back for. Absolutely beautiful rooftop. This is definitely a place to come for great vibes and delicious food. However, the value is not there for the cost and I think there are places around the corner with food that's better priced. Firstly, valet is $6 if you can't find any free street parking which can be super difficult to find in that area. I think it should be complimentary if you're eating at the restaurant with validation but that's just me. The service is super kind and attentive all the way around. But back to being overpriced, we've been here for lunch a few times and I still can't get over the prices. The Bellini is literally 25% foam. Do yourself a favor and order a glass of prosecco and the purée separately as the drink goes unbelievably fast. The waitress was super nice about the whole thing and apparently it's the standard pour so there's no influencing the ratio here. So no, you can ask for the Bellini with mostly prosecco and a touch of puree. The Swedish pancakes, lobster roll, and truffle fries are soooo delicious. But look at these photos and look at the portion size. Super cute and worth at least one meal here but expect to spend quite a bit to get full. read more

I'll have to update this review once I'm able to have the full experience. Stopped in for a solo brunch and had my eyes (and stomach!) set on the whole branzino. Unfortunately, they were out. It was only a few hours after they opened for the day so a true bummer they were out so quickly. Second option was the lobster roll but they were unable to omit the butter as it is baked in the roll - to no fault of RH rooftop! I ordered the peach Bellini first, so stayed to enjoy that. It wasn't my fave, but not bad, could tell the peach puree was fresh and not artificial which is nice! My server, Morgan, was super apologetic each time she came to report the "bad news" about what I ordered. I appreciated her trying to accommodate me. Nonetheless, the store is gorgeous! Can't go wrong with looking at all of the beautiful showrooms. Again, will update once I come back for the full experience. read more

Wow, what a hidden gem in East Dallas! As you walk into the building, it's very elegant. This is a furniture company. They do Home designs but it just seemed so upscale. You'd never know there was a rooftop restaurant. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful with their wine bar and outdoor patio for relaxing. I'd say the only drawback was the lighting need to be turned up more. It's a little bit darker than I would've liked. The service was quite on point. We started with the artichoke appetizer which was quite a large size and delicious. The fillet was cooked to perfection with the side of béarnaise sauce and then the prime rib sliced French dipped sandwiches, thinly sliced dipping in Au ju it just melted in your mouth. Honestly this place is just beautiful, and great decor , Rooftop is spectacular and very serene , definitely here for the drinks and not the food. Maybe just the truffle fries, the service was okay , I had ordered the chicken sando and it was a disgrace to any $25 chicken sandwich then they forgot the cheese and she brings it out in the side , it didn't even have lettuce . It was honestly the worse most expensive meal and I do not recommend. The Bellini was okay , nothing special just over priced drink. But i do recommend for great pics , and drinks they have great wine selection, coffee , cocktails, and ipas I think there's a couple on their menu. My friend had the waffle and it was hard, the scramble looked good but it was bland. So definitely won't be back here for brunch unless they get some flavor and good food into this place. read more

We went in the evening, and it was way too dark -- not moody or sexy, just difficult to see. The food was also a disappointment. For the price point and reputation, it fell flat and didn't leave much of an impression. Adding to that, it's worth noting that they do not have a full bar, which was surprising given the rooftop concept. Service was another issue. Our servers were not attentive and never came back to check on us, which made the experience feel rushed and impersonal. Wow what can I say this was amazing. So I was initially sceptical because really it is a chain but this was amazing. The surroundings are beautiful. The Food was delivered at a great pace not rushed but just right. All the food was amazing, perfectly cooked and well presented. My friend didn't like her drink and they switched it out no problem. This is my 3rd time here. The food was good - their fries and mini lobster roll with caviar was delicious! I also had some shrimp that my friend had ordered. I previously had the lobster roll and salmon was fine as well. Our waitress was okay. I only had half of my fries and I was planning to take it home, but I couldn't since after I came back from the bathroom it was no longer in the table. I understand they want to clear the table after eating but just because I didn't touch the food for a minute or two doesn't mean I'm done with it. I don't think any server asked my friends if I was finished with my food. I think the seating is too close to the next table as well. I did make reservations through open table which was helpful and created a seamless process. Upon walking in the hostess that greeted us was very friendly! Our server, was the BEST! I am so sorry I can't remember her name but she was the BEST (I hope she reads the reviews). She explained questions we had with the menu and even gave her recommendations. I also asked her for other things to do in the area and she gave some great recommendations and even went to see what recommendations her colleagues had. She really went above and beyond. Now to the food. Everything was flavorful and fresh. We had the Kale Caesar Salad (added lobster) and the Roasted Half Chicken. Came here with two of my girlfriends to celebrate a couple of milestones, me passing finals and my friend's upcoming birthday. We were all dressed nicely for the occasion: I wore a white peplum dress, one friend wore a green Zara dress, and the birthday girl wore a long sparkly sheer top layered over a bustier with jeans. We were seated quickly, though our table was very close to the one next to us; barely any space in between. Our server greeted us promptly and took our first round of drink orders. We received our drinks in a prompt fashion. I ordered the Rosè Spritz and my girlfriend ordered the Peach Bellini. Both were good. Nothing out of the ordinary, just good. However, the experience took a disappointing turn when a leadership member approached our table shortly after to say that my friend's outfit wasn't appropriate for the restaurant's "family-friendly" vibe. We were surprised, as no one around us seemed bothered or even paying much attention. They offered her a raincoat to cover up, which would've drawn even more attention and felt unnecessary (in my opinion). At that point, the mood was totally off, and we decided to just close out and leave. The space is beautiful, and the service started off strong, but the way the situation was handled felt out of touch and unnecessarily uncomfortable. To each their own and everyone is entitled to their opinions, but Just a heads-up if you're planning a celebratory outing here, there may be a stricter, unspoken dress code. read more

I loved the RH Burger and sweet potato fries, they were absolutely delicious!!! The rooftop is located on the 3rd floor so you need to walk through the actual store or use to elevators inside!
