St.Louis Ribs, coleslaw, fresh corn cobette, garlic bread
    J R.

If ribs you are looking for, we highly recommend coming here. Family friendly. It's like a home cooked meal away from home. I love their St. Louis Ribs with coleslaw and buttery corn cobette. My husband loves the baby back ribs and their baked beans. It's like a home cooked meal.

Can't go wrong with their ribs ! Yeehawwww Kind of. I wish the ribs were bigger tbh. Like I got the lunch special sure , but the cuts were like half the width of a usual ribs. Nonetheless the mac, beans, and ribs combo are pretty good and juicy. I wanna go again and try out their other stuff!!! Pretty close to my place so it's convenient and I definitely wanna go again.

The "Trio," American Baby Back, Baby Back and St. Louis ribs, with cold slaw and baked bean. Texas Toast.

Happened upon this place by accident. Was headed to Maggiano's, but had shared with my friend that I wanted some ribs. So as we're driving, we rode right past "rib city." Long story short, we decided to turn around and eat there. SO glad we did. Ambience is pretty basic, but apropos for the demographic, the "theme" and the food. I have absolutely no complaints as it pertains to the food. No complaints as a pertains to service. No complaints as a pertains to really anything here. The food was great. The service was wonderful. The dessert, exceptional. I didn't take a picture of the coconut cream pie, but if you're into coconut cream pie... This place will do you right. I highly recommend.

This is called Tony's Combo. It comes with a full rack of ribs with 1/4 of pulled pork plus 2 sides and Texas toast.

The food was great. Definitely worth the price. The food came out pretty fast. The service was good. Quiet environment. I would definitely go back.

Ordered ribs for take out. Ribs were really good with the BBQ sauce. The fries were even better because they were crispy with a sprinkle of cheese flavor. It was $28 and worth the price.

Pick 3 light and dark chicken, baby back ribs baked beans and fries!

Karen was awesome! Super friendly, checked on me often and brought my food out piping hot! I selected the pick three with light chicken, dark chicken, and baby back ribs (best in VB), with baked beans and fries on the side. I couldn't finish, as usual, if you leave here hungry it's your fault! Such a great spot, always at the top of the list!! Try their spicy BBQ sauce, you have to ask for it and it is spectacular!!!! Eat up buttercup!!!!

#dateyourwifewednesday took us to Rib City, considering a friend of mine posted about their first trip there about a week or so ago and how much they liked it. My verdict: I'd give them 3.5 stars but since yelp doesn't do half stars, they are stuck with 3. Let's talk about it... The Good: I found the sliced smoked pork in my sandwich and the pulled pork that my wife ordered to be good, even without barbeque sauce. My wife thought her pulled pork was slightly dry but I thought it was fine. Adding the sauces (sweet, tangy, or hot) made it better for sure, but I thought the meat was cooked well and could stand on it's own. That's a plus! Another HUGE plus was the prices!! Both our lunches (minus the $1.29 upcharge for sweet potatoes fries) were less than $9. My sandwich combo (sandwich and one signature side) was only $7.99 and my wife's lunch special (1 choice of meat and 2 signature sides) was only $8.99. Our total bill was just over $20, which is great for the amount of food we received. The Bad: Well, I personally don't care for large macaroni noodles in my Mac and Cheese because they tend to be less creamy, which it was. The Mac and cheese was just average. Not bad, but not great. The green beans were slightly better, so I'd say a little better than average. Again, not bad, but not great. The sweet potatoe fries, again, were average - not bad at all, but nothing to "write home" about. Also, the restaurant itself could use a facelift. The building has gone through several hands (I think) over the last few years or so, and a true facelift would make the place look more appealing, which honestly it's why it took me so long to try them out. The look of the place doesn't give you an "amazing food inside" kinda vibes. Even the inside could use some love. For example, in the Men's room, there is an old looking inoperable push button hand dryer. It's built into the wall, and even has signs of rust. Instead of removing it (I honestly don't know how difficult or expensive it would be for them to do) or replacing it, a paper towel dispenser was installed directly above it. To me, that just makes the place feel a little "cheap." All in all, I would go back because the meat was good and the price was on point. I'd just try some different sides, like maybe their cole slaw or baked beans. I'd say, for the price, if you like barbeque, it's definitely worth trying for yourself. I thought it was ok, but you may love it (like my friend did)!

I chose strawberry, but it was straight strawberry syrup. In hindsight, I probably should have gone with the ice cream option instead. The bigger issue was cleanliness. When I went to pay, the card reader had what looked like some oily substance on it. My tap payment wouldn't read, so I had to insert my card, and afterward, I had to wipe it down before putting it back in my wallet. It wasn't the best impression. The ice cream may be the main attraction here, but with so many great ice cream shops in the area, nothing about this visit really stood out enough to bring me back. If you're coming specifically for a matcha latte, there are probably better options nearby. Unfortunately, I don't see myself stopping in again.

I ended up on the combo of their soup and salad since their soup also sounded good. I was hesitant on the strawberries in the wine country salad since I know they're not in season really, but they were lovely. Everything in the salad worked well together and the dressing was nice and vinegary while still tasting of raspberries. It was very well balanced except for the ratio of toppings to greens. I feel as though there was just a little too much toppings. It could've used more leafs. As for the soup, it was a little bland, but after adding salt and pepper it tasted nice. It was mostly soup rather than crab or corn though. That was my only critique really, the temperature was good as well. It could've used some crackers on the side, but it wasn't necessary, just would've been a nice touch. Our waitress was quite nice, checked up on us and got us refills. All of our food came out together and hot. The sandwiches on other people's plates all looked wonderful, and after having a shoestring fry, I can definitely say next time I will be ordering some of those. As far as ambiance goes, it was nicely lit but still moody, which was appreciated. Very chill in there. Only reason I rate it 3 stars is because I feel as though there's room for improvement food wise, and price wise. $20+ for almost everything on the menu is pretty ridiculous. Even for some of the simple items. I don't think the food is that good, proportionately appropriate, or creative to be that much money. Maybe it's just me, but that's how I feel. I'll probably be back to try more items, I'd recommend coming here at least once to try if you haven't, during happy hour to get the best prices if you can.

I have a number of points …read more.. First, I needed ice cream!! The homemade kind of ice cream, which is what every ice cream conneisseur deserves. Ice cream is a stress reliever and smile creator so I happily searched out Lolly's even through construction obstructions on the street. Upon arrival I discovered a rather uh ... abandoned looking, worn out potentially closed "shack" a few blocks from the beach. In the dark shadows of the interior sat a young man with a friendly smile. I was really surprised by the minimalist approach to ice cream flavors for an ice cream establishment a few blocks from the beach in a resort town but I wasn't going to leave. The young man recommended the blueberry lemon, which was "the flavor of the week (I think that's what he said.). I was already in STICKER SHOCK because I saw what I was going to pay for a two scoop regular. His smile convinced me ... lemon blueberry and I added coconut almond as scoop number two. Both scoops were packed with their unique flavors with lots of almonds in the coconut almond. The lemon blueberry was very flavorful. Neither was a creamy as I prefer from homemade ice cream but definitely above average. Secondly, I have already made mention of this ... NO TWO SCOOP ICE CREAM should ever cost more than $9 (after taxes) even in a resort area!! OUTRAGEOUS and if I lived locally I'd never be back ... actually living out of town I'll never be back. A good pint of Ben and Jerry's is a better option. With such high priced ice cream you would think that they'd clean up the place but perhaps they consider down and dirty a "beach feel." Yes, I am sure the road construction has impacted them (I asked the smiling young man and he said business is slow in the afternoon but says weekends are busier.) including their ability/interest in keeping up appearances. So, if you are a tourist with some cash or a good credit card status .. you'll find some good ice cream at Lolly's. I enjoyed my once and done treat.
