Awesome food, service and ambience. The salad was one of the best ive ever had. This was from a bbq joint!!! Im a salad person, so when a good one comes along, i have to give kudos. We also got thr combo plate. Sausage was delicious, ribs were great as well as the pulled pork. The brisket was juicy but had little smoke flavor or a ring. we went to go visit them this past week my I shared a got one beer. My daughter got a child. One Our bill was $83. That is ridiculous. We ordered also a jalapeño popper appetizer for $12. We got like 67 of them one of the told the raising the prices, but they're limited on the food they you that is ridiculous. The very poor all the girls around walk face hanging to the floor they give you owe him something. We will never go there again and double check your receipt before you they're always adding things on there maybe to get an extra tip. I don't know. read more

Being from the south I thought I give this place a try.I had ribs chicken cold slaw mashed potatoes and thier gravy brown. Texas toast. WELL to tell you the truth I don't know how they are still in business. NO meat on the ribs the chicken was dry and looked like it was purchased from Wally World. Wow I am amazed at the remarkable renovations this place has undergone. It looks so spacious and provides a great atmosphere! I ordered the combination plate and it was absolutely amazing. For my sides I got the beans which were chef's kiss hands down and the Jo Jo fries !! Our tour-o-breweries should NOT have included this location. We were so bummed because all the information I saw prior to the visit, had us excited to see the place. It was pretty run down on the outside. It appeared to have been a fun hangout spot once upon a time. Although busy, the outdoor area was neglected and void of patrons. We were seated and given a beer menu. There were a couple beers from their own brewery but the rest were other locations. The couple of beers we had weren't bad. They have no pint glasses for purchase, and our waitress didn't offer any other items we could buy. Service for two beers was lengthy and the overall experience is not one I care to have again. They really need an overhaul or just tear down and start over. read more

I'm not sure what has happened to this restaurant but, it has gone down hill! I got the pulled pork, coleslaw, okra with ranch. It comes with Texas toast but, sure didn't taste like toast, it was stale and not good. Pork meat was dry, with grey color and no flavor! Did not want to eat the rest because I was afraid to get sick. Cole slaw was not eatable. Okra was over fried and too dark for me but, I ate most of it because I dipped it in ranch. I was greeted when I walked in and was helped with my order right away. While I waited one of the servers was eating chicken wings in front of me while I waited for my food. The restaurant seemed to only be occupied on one half of the restaurant, the bar side. They had a one man band and he was decent. This place is terrible. The food is constantly disappointing, I ordered the chicken and it was so dry and disgusting I wouldn't feed it to my dog. I decided to give it another try and ordered the rib-eye sandwich. This was just as bad, not only was the meat NOT rib-eye, it was two bites. The mashed potatoes were all garlic and dry. The mixed veggies are the WORST mixed veggies available. Not to mention the service was also terrible. I finished my drink and was never refilled. (I had to drink someone else's water to even get the chicken down.) Two thumbs down. Gross. Sad. I hate to talk so ill of small businesses but this should be closed. read more

I cannot remember the last time I had ribs this good. I ate in the restaurant side not the Tractor Brewing part as we were there strictly for the barbecue and comfort food. But I'd like to go back for a beer. The waitress was great too. She recommended buying the rib dinner instead of the other rib options and I think that was great advice. The price was better and one gets an extra side with the "dinner." I was able to take a couple home to feast on later. I also appreciate the numerous options for sides. I wanted them all. read more

I will get right to the point. DO NOT EAT THE FOOD HERE !!! I finished my meal at 2pm and became ill at 5pm. I have food poisoning and have been physically ill since then and it is now 5:50 am. I ate one meal yesterday the ribs and sausage combo. I told the manager/owner as I was leaving that he has a problem with the ribs. I ate 3 tough shitty ribs before stopping and regret every bite. The table next to me ordered a ruben sandwich which came out without sauerkraut , the waitress never check the order. The diner complained and the sandwich was returned to the kitchen. When it came back there was a cup of cold kraut on the plate and the waitress told the diner that the cook doesn't know what a ruben sandwich is. I will be reporting the restaurant to the health department. They need to check for food handling certificates etc. This is not acceptable. read more

This place needs some serious maintenance, some cleaning and maybe modernize or improve the decorations. When we got in we didn't get that welcoming feeling that makes you wanna go back to a restaurant. Now talking about the food some things were very good (like the pork, the sweet beans, the sausage) and some were okay like the ribs sauce and the brisket that was cold and dry. So if you are going only for the food you might like this place! It is a good bbq option in the area. But if you want the whole eat out experience maybe try something else. read more

Ate there Wed evening. It was terrible. I got a half rack and fried okra. The okra was great. The ribs had been smoked but to warm them up the used a broiler. How do i know? Because all the grease on top was sizzling. 3 out of seven were tender underneath the beef Jerking tough outer layer. The other four were jerky on top and dried out underneath. The cause tasted like somebody added Worcestershire to ketchup. No molasses or brown sugar . I have never had bbq sauce this bad. I have been 80 times over the past 20 years. Used to be great but the last three times it was progressively worse. Also there was nobody the at 6:30. I guess all the locals already know. New Mexico Phillysteak and Tractor Beers?! Bring it on!!! Tractor brews some amazing beers... the Oatmeal Stout is THE best rated Stout by Albuquerque the Magazine. Stopped in on a random Tuesday for a liquid lunch. After savoring a Pale Ale and Red Ale, the delightful wafting smell of food convinced me to peruse the menu. Some of the best Philly style steak sandwiches outside Philadelphia are lovingly constructed in Buffalo. Ribs New Mexico Philly was spot on and would give a Buffalo made Phillysteak a run for the money. BTW: I watched them prepare my sandwich, so I can guarantee that it was not microwaved. I didn't try any of the BBQ because, well... to me New Mexico and BBQ just do not seem like a likely couple. read more

Service was fantastic. The hard pear cider was delicious. The honey bee tractor beer is worth coming back for. And we know why they call it Ribs they were the best! Great flavor meat ready to fall off the bone. I debated between 3 and 4 stars due to the price to food ratio. They should really think about supplying a bread or some type of pre meal thing or maybe at least include sides with the platters. But I can see us coming back. Nice and clean and people very chill. Wow this has to be the worst BBQ spot in New Mexico I had the combination plate with hotlinks brisket and pulled pork. The hotlinks tasted like they were warmed up in the microwave the brisket was dry like it had been just sitting out all day. The pulled pork was just gross I love BBQ I don't see how you can need that up. To top all that off the service was pathetic how are you not busy and all the workers are just standing around talking I had one drink and never had a refill when they brought out our food I asked for one then they brought it with the check wehn we were leaving. Today was one of the worst days. I have gone to Ribbs locations in Los Lunas and Ceder Crest. Normally I am very happy with what I get. Today I was extremely disappointed. I order the combo of ribs and chicken. The ribs we cut across the bone instead with. The meat was so tough I couldn't eat it. I brought it to the attention of our server and basically she told me tough shit, they serve what they get. She just blew me off instead of talking with the manager to see what could be done. Then when I went to pay she tried shorting me my change from a dollar bill. The bill, which was not worth it, was $22.80. I gave her $25 and she gave me back $2. I asked her if she was also going to short me on my change. She gave a shitty look and sigh then counted out 20 cents in pennies from the one in the tray on the counter. I told her I would never be back and responded "Cool", she didn't give a shit. This is probably the worst BBQ place I have been to in all of New Mexico. Sadly the waitresses have no experience with customer service they are not friendly at all. One girl stared at us with a blank stair kinda creepy. Didn't really know the beer menu that well. Beer is great but all of our food was horrible the apitizer was even worse. My pork was really cold and old! All if our food looked like pre heated meat not cooked fresh at all. I seriously have tried a frozen dinner at home better than this. I am generally very forgiving however my experience tonight was just bad. The lack of service from the inattentive waitstaff and there was plenty of staff on a very slow night only 4 seated tables. We had to make a large effort to look for a chance to flag down our waitress. The building was filthy enough said. The food was not cooked according to menu specifications such as the tuna (lacking the honey glaze). The menu advertises smoked meats and there was no smoke flavor whatsoever in the prime rib which although the portion was acceptable the meat was tough and full of gristle. I understand that beef is more difficult to smoke, however the flavor was completely missing. I was going to leave zero tip after all of the disappointment however they added it in the bill and i was in no mood to fight over it. I will never go again. Ribs used to be a completely different restaurant with high quality meats, atmosphere and service. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

I think the problem with some folks in reviewing this place is that they're not coming for the bbq and beer. Why else come? If you got a salad and you're disappointed that's your fault. The beer is fresh and tractor has some wonderful brews. I like their amber. Order the bbq by the plate. The hot links are awesome as is the brisket and I love their vinegary spicy sauce. If you like sweet KC style sauces don't come here. It loses a star because some items on the menu are lacking, but again come for the bbq. The servers are picked for their looks rather than their competence, and sometimes don't have much experience with the menu items. It is frustrating when your sender can't give ordering advice. This place is really a three star place but the bbq is the only thing I come for so I rate according to that. read more

When I pointed out to her that she charged him for an adult drink - she replied "oh well the kids drinks are really small" So I said...
