My friend and I were craving some authentic Mexican flavors, and we stumbled upon this gem. The food was absolutely delicious and we both loved it! Service was super quick, which was a plus since we were hungry after 5 hours flight. I went for the birria tacos, and they were fantastic. I also couldn't resist the birria ramen, and it was a unique and tasty experience. Definitely worth a try!

Chorizo and Egg Burrito

Decided to check out this place for breakfast. I ordered a chorizo and egg burrito. The burrito was made fresh to order and was nice and hot. The chorizo was good and not greasy like some of the other places. Everyone inside seemed friendly and helpful and service was quick. Definitely will come back and try other things on the menu. Not the best pic but it tasted really good

Stay away from rolled.

The rolled tacos here are absolute trash. I never tried them here, but they leave alot to be desired. Soft, mushy, terrible presentation...just miserable. Luckily, the $10 machaca breakfast burrito was alot better with lots of onions and peppers and decent shredded beef. The onions and sauces at the salsa bar distinguish this place also.

Food was not great, service was good, nice salsa bar but no chips. May come back to try other things on the menu. "Fish" burrito, wet style with enchilada sauce + crispy fish - not sure why the fish is in quotes, makes me think it's not really fish - nothing other than fish, cabbage, and some white sauce. No appreciable pico de gallo. Would be nice with rice, beans, or other veggies. Felt like I was eating a lot of tortilla and breaded fish. - enchilada sauce was not a great choice for this. It tasted like the tomato sauce from SpaghettiO's. Quesabirria tacos + ok flavor of the beef +/- super oily experience - rice and beans could use some more flavor/salt

We order from here often! They have the best tortillas and I love their green salsa. They have made adjustments to the inside of their location for Covid cleaning protocols and they appear very clean! I saw the girl up front wash her hands multiple times in front of me. We love their breakfast burritos and they are served all day! My favorite is the hash brown or country burrito. A simple bean & cheese burrito or Carne Asada Quesadilla is great too! Their prices are a little high, but so are the gross 'Fredericos' everywhere too, at least this place is family owned and their quality is a lot better! If your looking for a fast & easy Mexican food place, check this place out!

Great Mexican food. The surf and turf burrito is awesome! Everyone else in the family enjoyed their food as well, good salsas too.

I'm reposting what I wrote on Google Maps since I have an iPhone: I come here literally all the…read moretime, so I figured I should finally leave a review. It's a place I take friends when they're visiting me, family on special occasions, and myself when I don't want to cook at home but want a good meal that leaves me feeling satisfied without breaking the bank, thanks to their daily specials. My partner and I are here almost every Taco Tuesday, and, while they always check, the staff remembers our order. On only a handful of occasions, I've ordered something I didn't love. As soon as I said something (though the staff did ask, too, because they noticed I wasn't eating as voraciously as usual), I was presented with options. I've been looking into an out-of-state move, despite being from here, and not being able to visit Don Juan's is a legitimate concern of mine, lol. My usuals are the carne asada street tacos, green chili burrito, and steak and shrimp fajitas. I also like the chicken enchiladas and the bean dip! Omg, the bean dip slaps. I would buy the salsa in bottles if I could, particularly red.

We had planned on eating somewhere else for lunch in downtown Glendale, but had to pivot and easily…read moreagreed upon this spot. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, as well as attentive. The food was pretty good. I'll say my burrito was a tad dry for me. I had asked for it enchilada style, but it definitely lacked in the sauce department. The open faced quesadilla was simple but a hit from the table. Portions are large and prices are decent.

We were pleasantly surprised by this Mexican restaurant on 83rd Ave. and Peoria. It's a large…read morebuilding with lots of seating at booth tables and bar area. Put your name in at reception and you were taken back usually after a small weight. We didn't have to wait yesterday. The servers are really friendly and checked on a frequently refilling hubs soda a few times without him having to ask. Our waitress also brought us an extra bowl of spicy salsa because she saw we had eaten all of it. Just brought us another basket of hot and chips. On our first visit, I got enchiladas and instead of rice and on the side I decided to choose their potatoes. The potatoes are so delicious. I love them, and I will look forward to these again when we return. Today we ordered: - Coke - Diet Coke (no Coke Zero here) - NACHOS GRANDE - Tortilla chips, cheddar & Monterey Jack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños. Choose seasoned ground beef, slow-roasted chicken or refried beans, or for an extra dollar, substitute fire-grilled steak or chicken fajita. I chose the chicken fajita protein topping. I ordered this for an entrée, but it would be a really good appetizer for 3 to 6 people. It's almost like cheese crisps, halved, with lots of melted cheese and a small amount of meat on each tortilla half. In the center there are toppings. I enjoyed the pickled jalapeños because they weren't extra hot. This hit my comfort food spot. I wasn't able to eat the whole thing so it was so big, but it was exactly what I was looking for. - THE GRANDE COMBINATION - Beef, chicken, cheese enchiladas, cheese chile relleno, tamale, crispy beef taco, guacamole. This combination is HUGE! Even the plate is grande. Absorbed this, and I think his eyes were larger than his stomach. He filled up on the beans and the rice, the chile relleno, and the taco. He got to take three enchiladas and a tamale for dinner the next night. A very nice tasty plate. Complementary chips and three types of salsa are brought to the table. Of the salsas, one is a red sauce that is mild, one is a pineapple tomatillo, and one is a spicier red salsa. The chips are nice and fresh and thin and brought to the table warm. Men's and women's restroom near the entrance for customers.

Horrible hostess! Place was very empty with no line and at…read moreleast 10 empty tables but she made us wait 10 minutes to be seated. She attempted to sit us in a booth. When requesting a table she stated there were only 2 servers and that the tables were not in their "section" which was only 4 feet from the booths! Stupidity at epic levels! We turned around and left after wasting 10 minutes. Eat at Firebirds across the street for better food, service and a hostess with brains!
