Parking at KIIN Thai was fairly easy on the street - so much space! It's a small little restaurant serving some big flavors! I just knew i had to try their pumpkin curry with chicken (spicy)... super tasty! We visited with a party of 8, and our food was out within 15 minutes! Portion wise, it does feel a bit on the smaller end versus price - at least the pumpkin curry felt so. Perhaps it was the size / shape of the bowl? I did enjoy the nice pyramid shape of their rice, though! For dessert, we enjoyed their mango stick rice. Needless to say, it was devoured the minute it arrived on the table. My coworker spoke well about this place. In high hopes, I ordered a large rice. I showed up, picked up the rice and was extremely confused. On my way walking back to the car I was so confused about the packaging that I stopped, opened the container of rice and was BAFFLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so confused. I walked back into the restaurant and asking them to see their small rice container which was honestly, the size of a double shot glass. $ 4.43 id the price I paid this restaurants version of a LARGE container of rice... That's literally horrible/disgusting . I get the economy sucks and taxes are super ass right now, but you're going to charge $4.43 for a 6 to potentially 8 OZ container of WHITE RICE?!?!!!!! All the food that we got was amazing! We got the drunken noodle shrimp medium spice, eggplant with beef no spice yumm, chicken teriyaki no spice which the kids loved, beef jerky was delish! The two of our dishes came with a side of steam rice. We are a family of 5, and we got the Chicken Fried rice with extra egg which the kids loved. This is one of my go-to spots for Thai food in Burbank. They used to go under a different name so I hadn't ordered from here for a while, but it's still great. The staff members are always super sweet too. Although they don't have a huge area for seating, it's not usually packed here and I love the little trinkets and lights they decorate the place with. Street parking isn't too bad either. I ordered the panang curry. You can choose your own spice level and the coconut milk definitely helps balance the spice. Although the curry comes with rice, keep in mind that this is only enough rice for about half the portion of the curry, so I would order an extra side of rice. read more

I ordered one of their specialty dishes - Weeping Tiger (ribeye). Most of it was unedible. What I could eat of the meat was tasty and I know ribeye is a fattier cut of meat but this was a terrible cut, mostly fat. I let the waiter know and showed him that most of if my dish was unedible, but all he did was say he'll tell the chef and there was no effort to fix the problem or even offer a discount even though I couldn't eat half my dish. $25 for something I could barely eat and i had to pay extra for a side of rice even though the menu said it came with rice. read more

This is a very cute little restaurant. The vibe inside was very calming and I would even say romantic. It feels very clean inside, and the water tasted clean and showed up in a cute mason jar. I got the pad Thai lunch special. The pad Thai was very flavorful and delicious. I would definitely get it again. But strangely, they brought my pad Thai with no peanuts. Once I asked, they brought some out for me. Not sure if it's by request only. The salad had very little dressing right on the top so I had to ask for more of that too. I've also looked at other pics on Yelp and noticed others have received what looks like sweet and sour sauce for their egg roll, which I did not receive. While I was in this establishment several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they only had lunch specials available from Monday - Friday at the moment. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. It's very casual, plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which is a huge deal and very rare nowadays. They even had a new happy hour special. Who doesn't love a $3 beer with lunch? As for the food, I was thoroughly impressed! Pastrami melt was amazing! Full of delicious pastrami, melted cheese, and pickles. So delicious! Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. I can't wait to come back and try their burgers.

The food is fresh, delicious, and flavorful. The service is always great and it's very easy to get curbside pickup. My absolute favorite dish here is the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. I've never had it this good anywhere else. Great flavors, with just the right amount of spice! I also usually get the Chicken Satay and their peanut sauce is delicious! The soups are also great, especially the Tom Kha. I'm also a big fan of their curries, especially the Yellow Curry. Anything you order here you just can't go wrong! Siam Smile is the best Thai restaurant in Burbank for sure. It's my favorite Thai restaurant period but certainly in Burbank. The food is awesome and their specials are on point. I pretty much always order the lunch or dinner special, depending on when I'm there. Lunch: For $6.95 (M-F until 3) with egg fried rice, tofu soup and two fried wontons of either chicken, beef, pork or tofu. The beef and pork are my two favorites. Dinner: $9.95 that gets you the same but with an egg roll and slightly bigger servings. If you don't want a preplanned meal I highly recommend the: the pad thai noodles, spicy bamboo, shrimp and scallops or the pineapple curry. All of these dishes are A+'s and oh so good. I like little restaurants. Truly. I would take a little hole in the wall over a big fancy restaurant any day of the week. And I eat at Sawan usually once a week. Very easy to miss unless you are looking but they stay open all day (you know how some restaurants close at 3 to 5? hello- not all of us have 12:00 lunches) and their peanut sauce is great. I would just eat the peanut sauce if I didnt like their other options. They have a killer lunch menu till 3:30pm- $4.50 for an entree!!! Panang and veggie curry are my faves. Their pad thai is very tasty and their thai salad and chicken sate are a must try. The same gal is always there- and she is so sweet and helpful. Came here for lunch by myself, and the place was full, so i waited for a table and was seated, then ordered my food. The food arrives a few minutes later, then a group of 4 people walked in, but all of the tables were taken, so in the middle of my meal while i was eating the waitress asked me if i could change tables to the smaller table so they accommodate a bunch of strangers. Then i was moved outside in the sun with some idiot smoking near me. I was very annoyed by this, those people could have waited just like i had to, but i guess a few cheap plates of food are more important than a potential life time customer. We ordered the BBQ Chicken and Chicken Teriyaki. The chicken was tender, the sauces were delicious, and the rice was perfectly cooked. Their menu also has a great variety of Thai favorites like curries, Pad Thai, noodle dishes, soups, and house specialties. The staff was friendly, the service was attentive, and the lunch special is definitely worth it if you're in Burbank.

I thought it was too sweet for me and it didn't taste like most Pad Thais I've had or come to expect, but it was still okay. Veggie Rolls - This is pretty much salad/lettuce in a spring roll, and the peanut sauce is what makes it delicious. Not very large or filling, but good if you want some side greens. If you have a peanut allergy, skip these because they're kinda boring without the sauce. Panang Curry with Filet Mignon and added Japanese Pumpkin - This was a good dish! The steak was cooked a little too well for my liking, but it was generous in portion and the sauce was really flavorful. I was glad I added the pumpkin. Filet Mignon Pho - Not my favorite pho ever, but I liked that they offered Thai and Vietnamese options. When I ordered online, I didn't see in the description that it included bean sprouts or basil and that I had to order them for $2 each. I like my pho with every dang thing, so I spent the extra $4. The items did already come with the pho, plus I got an extra bag that I didn't really need to order. The steak was thinly sliced and tender, I just wish there was more of it. Salmon Rolls - These are pretty heavy, the fresh salmon is fried on the outside and rare on the inside. They come with a few dipping sauces, including a spicy mustard that I liked. Thai Tea Caramel Creme - This is honestly the reason I order from here. I am a damn fiend for Thai Tea-flavored desserts, and I crave this one all the time. It has a rich, velvety texture and a strong Thai tea flavor. I have thought of stopping by just to order this, and I probably will. Our orders have always been ready on time, although I can't speak for any dining-in experience, and I think it's a little pricier than other Thai restaurants. The website is just a little wonky... I like that everything is customizable in just about every way, and there are pictures of most items, but the pho order wasn't clear about what it would come with, and some of the upcharges are higher than they should be. However, I will come back for that Thai tea dessert because I've fallen in love.

Fried noodles are supposed to be normal cooked noodles that are than fried so that some of them are crispy. And they serve the noodles separate from the rest of the dish. They're supposed to be mixed together. This is the last time I'm ordering from them. It was the last time I ordered. It was the same thing different dish, but they gave me the parts of the meal instead of combining it together.

It had almost no flavor at all and had a strong, unpleasant smell that made it seem as though something was spoiled. After taking a few bites, I immediately started feeling sick. The pot stickers were also overcooked and not enjoyable. We politely brought our concerns to our server, an older gentleman, hoping he would help resolve the situation. Instead, his response was dismissive and rude. He simply said, "Well, you ordered it," followed by, "Other people order it and don't have a problem with it." That response was unprofessional and did nothing to address our concerns. He never apologized, offered to replace the dish, or suggested any solution. It was clear he didn't care about our experience. I understand that not every meal will be perfect, but customer service is what makes the difference. Unfortunately, both the food and the service fell far below expectations. We left feeling disappointed and won't be returning.

The service is wonderful, very friendly and willing to help and even bring out water for the pup. They have lots of seating inside and out on the patio that is comfortable and adequate. I would give this place a 10/10.
