Overall a good experience. This is only the second Thai place I've ever tried so I don't have much to compare it to, but it was pleasant. The food was tasty and hot/fresh, ordered with Uber Eats. I don't even like curry, but I enjoyed the Green Curry. Their Pad See Eiw had a lot of quality pieces of beef, which I appreciate. The Pad Thai wasn't my favorite, as it had a touch of a sweeter flavor than I'm used to, but it was still good. Cream cheese wontons were crispy and fresh, and the included sauce was tasty as well. We got our order extremely quickly, and everything was well packed. read more

I've been looking for a good thai place to replace my favorite one since I moved and was pretty hopeful about this establishment since the reviews were looking good. I ordered a vegetable soup and a yellow curry for delivery. First, the vegetable soup was pretty good according to my partner. It started to disappointment me when I took the curry out of the bag. It was significantly smaller than the soup but costed more. Then I started to try it and the flavor was good but not only was half the already small container just onions, which was too much even for my partner who loves onions, but the potatoes were undercooked and it wasn't spicy at all when I had ordered a medium spice level. I'm giving it two stars because the food didn't taste bad but it wasn't a great experience compared to other places I've tried in the area in my search for a new favorite. read more

The food was great, the orange chicken does not disappoint and the fried rice. But I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the add on fee. I did not expect to only receive one shrimp for $1. I'm not sure how the add in fee works but i legit only received 1 shrimp. The man at the counter was really nice and definitely helped me out to pick what I wanted. If I would've known the 1 shrimp for a dollar was a thing on uber eats I probably would've not gotten it. But other than that it's pretty solid. read more

Ordered a orange chciken and fried rice combo plate for one and came out to $20 with a thai iced tea. The rice was incredibly (almost non-edible) bad and the orange chicken was also not that good all. Maybe some of the other food on the menu is better but can't recommend their fried rice or orange chicken. The Thai iced tea is great though. The person on the phone can also use some customer service skills. I was better off just going to panda express. read more

I was looking forward to Thai Pepper and the overall experience was mediocre. The food was good. We got the pad see ew and orange chicken which were fine. The chicken spring roll was dry and overrated. We dined in and the ambiance was...quiet. We were the only ones there. There was a very strong cigarette smell, almost unbearable. We ate fast and got out. The service was decent, hopefully the employees can find somewhere else to smoke because it seems like this is a problem based on the other reviews I'm seeing. read more

This is the Thai place I come to when I feel like ordering take out. Since I've been coming here for a few years now I've had a lot of items off the menu. That being said for entrees I would highly recommend the spicy chicken & mint leaves (we usually go for mild since the spice is just right) and the chicken pad see-ew. For the rice we stick to the traditional chicken fried rice and an occasional pineapple fried rice when I feel like changing it up a bit. As far as the appetizers I have recently become addicted to their spring rolls which have chicken, mushrooms, and clear noodles. They're bite sized but come with a lot. Not to forget the chicken sa-te's which are a must for my family. Overall it's a pretty good hole in the wall type of restaurant. I've never actually sat and dined in so I would say their service is fast as far as how my food is always ready by the time I pick it up. Decent prices, would recommend. read more

Sad to learn that the former owners sold the business. I also noticed the price are a bit higher now. Food is still pretty good but the portions seem smaller. Thai Pepper has been one of my favorite Thai restaurant in the east valley area. read more

I recently ordered the veggie rolls last week wich comes with thin cabbage, carrots and Clear Noodles. i ordered this again because i really enjoyed it the first time but this time is was very bread like they used alot of wrap on it and forgot the clear noodles. i called to see if they made a mistake and if they just forgot to add the clear noodles the manager was super ghetto and rude when i called. They clearly say on there menu its HAS CLEAR NOODLES and veggies. the mager replies with "whatever" and hung up. i called back very frustrated she said they had not been putting clear noodles on there veggie rolls for over 10+ years, yet i had goten them that way the first time from this exact resturant. . This palce is a disater the mongolian beef i also ordered was like stew it was almost soup! this place is very discusting they aslo said they needed the food back to get a refund, they heat the food back up and SERVE IT TO COMING COSTUMERS! Horrible customer service. No smiles, no nothing. The ladies there were great. It was that one guy at the counter who was rude as hell. I called to place an order for pick up. 15-20 mins before I came to actually pick it up. I was quoted 15 mins it'll be ready. Mind you I'm only ordering soup. I get there, not ready. Place was empty too. I ask how much longer and I'm on a timed schedule. " oh 5 more mins" he says. Oh hell no. Don't quote me a time frame and I get there and make me wait extra. It's only soup. Jairo took great care of us at Thai Pepper! From the moment we walked in, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure we understood the menu options. He gave honest recommendations, checked on us at the right times without being intrusive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming and comfortable. Amazing and super fresh food! Their chicken sate is big, wide and flavorful with tasty peanut sauce. Their Tom Yum noodle soup with chicken comes in a huge bowl. They let me have coconut milk base too! And great curry!!! Soooooo yummy! read more

Yes, Sun Valley is not the place to get quality food but Thai food is so simple to make, its fast, sometimes light and asian. I had the lunch special today and it came out lighting fast. Service was great and the price was right. read more

The plate arrived at the table with a blanket of naan bread, a literal blanket. It was weird to see packets of ketchup come to the table and barbecue sauce. I used a little bit of the sauce but just to see why that would come to the table. It did compliment the pork belly but it wasn't necessarily needed. The tomatoes and cucumber added a balance and freshness. Over all I will be back either for the pork ribs or the lule kabobs.
