Ordered lunch to go today. Food was fresh and delicious. New interior remodel is beautiful!!!

Ordered broccoli beef w/rice.There were only a few pieces of actual meat and one was very fatty. The flavor was not good and the meat tasted weird. The sauce was not like the broccoli beef I've ever had.Tons of rice, though ($20.00). 6 cream cheese puffs for $12.50. Those tasted fine but small portion size for price.

Food is excellent here. I highly recommend it. It's right off the side of the road on the right if you're going southbound. It might be a little bit easy to miss. Shao who I believe is the owner, was excellent with her service, super helpful and entertaining. She's a little firecracker. I will always be stopping by here any chance I get. Once again food was amazing.

But then prices would be much higher and wait times much longer to get in. I was very pleased with the 'Happy Family' lunch special. It was a good mixture of vegetables, chicken, beef and shrimp. The China sauce in the yellow squeeze container was definitely a horseradish or wasabi root mustard. The waitress was very good and friendly. I want to come back to eventually have nearly everything on the lunch special menu. I like the interior decorations; it helps give the Chinese feel.

Was not a fan of the egg Foo Young, but that's my taste. The service was ok with one of the I assume daughters waiting on the tables. The biggest two issues I have with this restaurant are, I was asked if I wanted more Iced Tea which of course I did I found out later I was charged for a refill. I've never been charged for a refill but can understand it but the issue was I was never told. The other issue was when I asked for the Sweet and Sour sauce to be on the side, I was charged an extra 25 cents to do so. Yeah, I know it's only 25 cents but why. We actually had the gravy with the Egg Foo Young on the side so that's an extra 50 cent. Again, yes, it's only 50 cents but why. Was it for the extra dish they had to wash or what? Honestly, no one has to go out to dinner so it's the little things that make you go back but also the little things that make you not go back. Will never go back to this restaurant.

I saw this place on Yelp - I didn't read the reviews but did peep the 3.8 star rating so.. I thought "it's Chinese food, how bad could it be?". Well... when I entered to pick up the food I was told I had to wait a few minutes. Unfortunately that only gave me time to observe the extremely dirty and run down restaurant. It was stuffy, everything was dusty, the carpet had crumbs all over even though there was a sticker on the door saying they Only did takeout ? So I'm not sure how long those crumbs have been there. It was also ironic because by right by the register and their takeout menus there was a brochure for a carpet cleaning service ? I digress. I could also see in to the kitchen and I could see it was also unkept. I ignored these red flags and my urge to leave because again- we were starving and nothing else in town was open. I paid $60 (with tip) for "cashew chicken", beef & broccoli, spring rolls and shrimp fried rice. To say the least - it was inedible . It all got thrown away . The fried rice was mushy, it had no soy sauce, the spring rolls looked like .... Giant nuggets of something ? Idk they were salty but not good. The cashew chicken had more celery than chicken and it was also in some sort of gravy ? The beef and broccoli was also insanely Horrible. Clearly frozen broccoli and mush. It was so bad. I feel bad because the older man cooking was sweet but also, the food and Cleanliness doesn't even deserve one star

The portions were large, prices were good, and everything was accurate. We ended up ordering too much (since we didn't know the portion sizes), and absolutely would have eaten it for multiple meals if we were closer to home. We arrived into Crescent City at around 3 pm, and I had looked at the menu on-line before arriving so knew what to order. The menu does not include an ingredient list, so asked if the twice cooked pork had zucchini...sure enough, it did (it must be used as filler in this area), so I asked it to be removed. They replaced it with green pepper instead. I was warned that the chow fun would take 30 minutes to complete, which I agreed to. Paid and waited. Sure enough, it did take that time, so appreciated the heads-up. Drinks are through bottles/cans and they had various sodas available. All dishes were presented in those styrofoam lunch containers, so the amount of food given was huge. Twice cooked pork ($16), Shrimp Chow Fun ($18), Mongolian Beef ($18). Only gave us one rice, though (should have been two). It took about 70 minutes to get back to our hotel near Eureka, so intentionally chose dishes that would travel well (i.e. no deep fried dishes). We made it just in time for Game 4 of the NBA Finals (Spurs blew the biggest lead in a NBA finals game). The food was good: plenty of good quality meat in each dish, and I especially liked the Chow Fun (delicious sauce).
