Our office placed the order over the phone, and when we arrived to pick up. We were all paying separately. We arrived and we're not welcomed by the manager. So we went to pay, and the manager informed us that we could not pay separately. Instead of him trying to find a resolution, or voiding and re-entering the order. We asked if he could void the order, or does that mean we have to go somewhere else. The manager then responded " yes, you have to go somewhere else." We had to cancel our order, and it was already packaged and ready for pick up. We were upset and told the Manager he had lost a customer. He said "I'm fine with that." read more

Do not order to go . Flyer says 15 minimum there website says 15 minimum. I just ordered and been a regular ordering and taking care of there drivers and they tell me minimum is 17 dollars. No were does it state on flyer or website. The order was 16.97 and would not place it. Even the manager said no. I called and ordered food when they opened at 11:00 a.m.. My order arrived fast and hot, which I thought was great since it was my first time with this restaurant. The spring rolls and the sweet & sour chicken were dark brown and thick instead of a light and airy. The food tasted like it was "deep fried" leftovers from the day/night before. The fried rice was just a brown color rice, with no vegetables mixed in. The small amount of food I did eat sat in my stomach like a brick, leaving me miserable for the rest of the day on Saturday. Waited until I got there to order, only because I was undecided if I wanted to eat there or takeout. Decided to order out. My food came out in 5 min or less! That was fast!!! I ordered the chicken lo mein for my main dish, egg drop soup & crab rangoons(4) to an order. I got back to the hotel & unpacked the goodness. I like that it came in a nice plastic, sturdy container, not your typical to go box (which I hate using when I have to rewarm food) lo mein was steaming hot & a nice size portion & very good! More veggies would be been nice, but the dish was solid. Crab Rangoons were perfect. Crispy and cream cheesy goodness. I didn't even open the egg drop soup because I was too into the lo mein. LOL I'll have a very yummy lunch or dinner tomorrow with half the lo mien I had left over along with the soup and two crab rangoons. Place was nice & clean, staff was efficient, food was good. We don't have any good Chinese restaurants near us so we looked at Yelp and then drove over to Duncanville to try the Rice Pot because the reviews were so good. We were not disappointed. I had the Mongolian entree in a vegetarian style and my husband had Szchuan Spice with Shrimp. The spring rolls were very good, too. They brought a lot of food. The food is great. My complaint is about the lady who is the manager. I called in to place an order and spoke to a young lady who was very polite and helpful. When I got there to pick up my order, I was greeted by the lady I spoke with over the phone, she is a newer employee. Im not sure what happened but it seemed she might have maybe messed up on an order but anyways the manager started speaking in Spanish to the other works and I understand Spanish. She was calling her employee stupid and dumb because she made a mistake. A boss should never speak like that too an employee and definitely not in front of customers or employees. I felt really bad for the employee she was speaking in Spanish about. The young lady was very polite and very cheerful and did a great job with customers. She should not have to go through that. My husband, myself, and two of our friends went for lunch today. Hubby and I ordered fried dumplings, egg drop soup and chicken wonton soup, combination lo mein and combination fried rice. Friends ordered steamed dumplings, shrimp egg rolls, and combination pad thai. We loved every bite of what we got! Even got a free egg roll with our entrees, crispy, fresh, and great tasting. Our friends loved everything they got, too. Our bill with two drinks, soup, appetizer, and entrees, $29. I think it was very fair, especially because there is PLENTY to take home for a whole second meal, easily. Probably could have shared an entree and been fine with that.
