I really like rice pot! They're affordable and their portions are great. I like that they're conveniently located in the middle of Duncanville. The lunch special is my go to, when I get the pad Thai, it comes with one spring roll which is really nice, and it's enough for me to share with a coworker. I like the orange chicken and the pad Thai, those are my go to foods from here. If I get dinner, I usually get the crab rangoons or the spring rolls too. Yelped to find this spot when I was in town for work. Opted for spring rolls, edamame and chicken with broccoli. I only ordered 2 rolls and got 3, so that was a bonus. Nice a crunchy, good flavor, and a nice toppings station to find sauces for dipping. Had to drive about 15 minutes to eat and they were still crunchy and piping hot. Edamame was on point, added salt but very generous portion. Chicken with broccoli was delicious. White meat chicken, lots of broccoli, onions and carrots. I really, really want to love this place. Finally somewhere near me that delivers and it's not pizza! I called late night (9:00PM) and ordered the combination fried rice upon recommendation from the server. I had to have a minimum of $15 in order to have delivery so I also got the steamed gyozas. I believe they said it was a $2-3 dollar delivery fee on top of that plus tip. Which really isn't bad when you do not want to leave the house. The fried rice was average which was so disappointing after the server spoke so highly of it. They do theirs hibachi style I believe which gives it a more dry taste to me. It wasn't terrible but I would not order that item again. The gyozas were light on meat and heavy on veggies but still decent. I will definitely order again but I will try some other items. I am still holding out hope for this place! Delivery was fast (they estimated 30-40 min) and it arrived in 28 minutes. It was warm and the delivery man was very friendly and nice. It was Valentine's Day and I needed to pick up something quick. There are not many Chinese restaurants near my home so I picked this up after work. We ordered orange chicken, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, combo lomein, and egg rolls. The food was plentiful for the price and my family liked it, however my lomein seemed to be overcooked or maybe the sauce wasn't very good. We ordered orange chicken with the fried rice option - chicken tasted more sweet than any spice but was okay and cooked. I asked for no egg in the fried rice, got egg when I opened it at home. So had to toss that. Ordered the vegetable lo mein - not so great. Noodles were like thick pasta and did not taste like lo mein. The male cashier seemed new as I had called in my order and he had to keep asking stuff, which is fine. He's learning. But when I went to pick up my order he was also there with a female coworker who was rude. I waited for them to hand me my bag so I'm not straining to reach with the table in front of the counter. They did not so I had to stand there and wait and then just asked if they could hand me the bag please. She pushed it with attitude. Crab Rangoons were good; I've just never seen them made in the shape of a triangle which added to the feeling that amateurs were in the kitchen. OK food. Horrible service. Bad attitudes with service. They also like to steal items you leave at the restaurant. I Pod pros were left a while back. I went back for them a week later when it dawned on me that I may have left them there. I asked if they had seen them, they replied yes and described them to the T because I had a red case on them. When they went to the lost and found box they put them in, they were gone. I offered money and left my phone number in case they found them. The only english speaking employee was a kid no older than 20. He didn't want to give me his name and was very dismissive with an adult next to him. No offer for compensation or anything close to making it right. A good number of young employees with no respect for customers. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. I ordered the hot and sour soup To go of course And when I was more than half way done with it I noticed a lot of black little bugs that were dead. It was the most disgusting thing ever. There had to at least been about 30 +. I took it back and complained but the owner was not very helpful. She just looked into the container and said sorry And gave me my $2.15 back. The food wasn't terrible but they charge more for delivery. Which is understandable. I got delivery because I can not drive on my medicine. But they came delivered the guy was nice. I paid almost 5 bucks for an appetizer. It did not come. So I nicely called and told them. The girl said "oh yeah they are sitting right here, we can have him redeliver it will be about 45 minutes or you can come pick them up" so not only did I pay more for delivery, and a delivery charge now you want me to come pick it up. Food is good the only thing I would recommend is cutting up the meat pieces a bit smaller. They are big cuts and require for you to cut them smaller to eat them.
