The reviews made it seem hit or miss but ordered on uber eats and food was delicious. Would have asked for extra sauce for my chicken but I would definitely order again. It's a big portion for one.

Valentino has been our go take out spot for over 5 years! We love the fried rice and lo mein. Always get the sesame chicken!

    Mongolian Beef w/ Steamed Rice

I haven't eaten from here in a minute but I spent almost $30 on straight garbage food. Mongolian beef (pictured below) had mainly onions and little pieces of what appeared to be taco meat not the typical stirfry meat you see. steam rice with steam rice, ordered crab Rangoon those were decent everything lacked flavor. Delivery was quick. It was hot, but I will never order from there again.

Great flavor! Set in a small strip mall with a few tables to accommodate dining in. I ordered takeout and was in for a treat. Egg foo young with beef, white rice and brown gravy...Mmmm! Delicious! I was a bit surprised to find peas and carrots mixed in, but was not disappointed. I also ordered a side of crab Rangoon and it was ok. It did come with the sauce which was good too!

It was terrible. I ordered Chicken chow mein and it was a watery bowl of cabbage with some chip-like things in it, no noodles, and pale white strips of boiled chicken. I'm not kidding, do yourself a favor Dallas and look up a picture of chow mein on google, then compare it with the abomination-of-a-picture I'm attaching to this post. The rest of the food was okay, but not enough to make up for the $14+ dollar "chow mein". At least my puppy liked it.

The shop is clean and service is very friendly, but the food was not my favorite. The food tastes like it's heavy and greasy, and it doesn't have a special flavor. Pros: -Cheap Prices -Friendly service -Clean -Booths and tables available -Not busy during lunch time -A lot of food served in your order Cons: -Quality of food It's one of those restaurants that you will probably want to try, but wouldn't try it again. I had the chicken teriyaki with rice and an egg roll and it was okay. I feel there are better places with similar prices and better food.

Ordered food through Door Dash. The portions are huge and they taste delicious. The orange chicken and noodles are my favorite.

Amazing hot & sour soup. It was so filling and they were very generous with the veggies in the soup! Definitely will order again!

Hardly any beef in either of the dishes we ordered. Tried to disguise it with tons of veggies. Don't cheat your customers; we won't be back.

Rice was so undergone it was crunchy. A waste of money. Paid extra for shrimp fried rice and it may have been 6 or less shrimp in it

We ate egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and soup, followed up by orange beef and beef fried rice. The crab Rangoon could have used more stuffings, but what was there was good. I thoroughly enjoyed the orange beef. The tenderness of the beef and the taste of the sauce was on point. Definitely don't pass on this one if you are craving Chinese food. This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal. A solid spot with great vibes, tasty dishes, and room to grow on us even more with a return visit.

The people are the exact same. It was truly a feeling of nostalgia that's hard to describe. My favorite dish has always been, and still is, the bamboo shoots with pork. It is so fragrant, umami, and simply delicious. The west lake soup is also a classic done so well - pro tip to add white pepper to give it a little kick. The steamed pork belly was okay - sauce is flavorful (a touch salty) along with the preserved greens but the pork wasn't as tender as I had remembered it. The fish filets are fried to perfection, full of salt/pepper flavor, and pairs well with the jalapeños. If you don't like fish, you can get the same flavor with the pork version of this dish, which I also really like. The service can be a little slow because it's just 1 chef and 1 waitress who own the restaurant - same people that have run the show since I first came here probably almost 30 years ago! Incredible to see them still working so hard and serving delicious food. They'll never know how much their restaurant and food means to me!

**This review is based on a Sunday evening to-go order.**…read more While these folks were polite on the phone and in-person -- and the restaurant was bright and clean when I came in to pick up my order -- I cannot recommend this place. First, I ordered the Chinese Fried Chicken (half), which is supposed to be brined in soy and hoisin, then deep fried in a light batter. This chicken was no more brined than a rock in the desert, and it was just as dry, even the dark meat pieces. The steamed rice was fine, as was the beautiful bok choy. The dish, overall was a huge disappointment. The chicken lo mein was also a letdown, as it had an underlying sweetness that I've never experienced with this dish. Two bites were taken and it (along with the chicken) ended up in the hotel trash can. A couple of positives: I enjoyed the hot & sour soup, and the egg rolls tasted as if they were rolled in-house, which is a rarity these days. I live a few hundred miles down the road and don't get to downtown Dallas very often, so the odds of me patronizing this place again is already slim. But, in the event I find myself here in the future, I will avoid this restaurant.
