After soliciting 6 bids from various HVAC companies, USA HVAC had the competitors beat on several levels. 1) Lowest cost. A little bit less than the next competitor, 2,400$ less than highest competitor. 2) Speed. Most companies told me that there is a shortage of equipment due to manufacturer shutdown during the Covid epidemic and I needed to place an order asap for fulfillment between 1-2 weeks. Jason and his team were able to get replacement equipment the same day (They worked diligently to 10pm to ensure we had AC that night). For some reason he wasn't experiencing the same supply issues that others mentioned. 3) Knowledge. Jason has paid his dues being the industry for 18 years, he has a master HVAC license and he's personally involved in every job. 4) They threw in extras. CO monitoring, condensing unit riser pad, filter 5) Warranty. 10 years on all parts, 1 year on labor. 6) Safety, they installed a carbon monoxide sensor, a condensate drainage sensor and other safeties on the equipment. I dealt with them and my warranty company to get an itemized estimate since their pricing seemed suspicious and extremely overpriced. Owner is extremely rude and don't feel safe with him or his team coming into my home. Stay away from them.

A routine cleaning turned into a nightmare. The unit worked fine and it was a routine checkup. They…read moreasked if we wanted the fan cleaned for $500. We said sure why not, then once it was done the house smells like chemicals and the technician couldn't get the thermostat to work. It was a fairly new thermostat so there is no reason for it to break. He had a Senior technician show up who took the thermostat off. Ripped the paint of the wall in the process and put a different thermostat on. This was supposed to be temporary since it was already 10pm. He said he would come in the morning the next day. Instead we got a call saying they could put a new thermostat on for $800. Our old one was working fine. It was just a tune up. My wife asked to speak to a manager, but I have no faith in that seeing other reviews. Meanwhile my house smells slightly of chemicals. I have a crappy thermostat well below the earlier one and a tear in my paint in a room that was painted less than a year ago. I will see if a supervisor calls and might change this, but currently a $49 tune-up looks like an almost $2000 job replacing things that they broke and I still have to paint. Stay away, go with a smaller company that is trying to succeed instead of just fleecing hard working people. P.s. a routine tune-up went from noon until 1015pm.

It took a 15 days to get the parts, but that was not a problem. They sent the second string tech to install the parts and he did complain about the commission the other tech was getting for selling me the replacement parts. Tech #2 did not use a ground Strap before touching the new circuit board! This can cause problems in the future from static discharge. Remember the service providers are on commission!

Luckily it was only the little water pump had gone bad and the built in safety switch would not let the furnace turn on. By 7pm this evening he had it fixed and we are again happy with this company. Over the years, there had been minor issues, but this turned out to be a furnace that was unable to turn up any heat. Getting parts was a problem as well. This occurred before Christmas during a very cold week. No amount of blankets or patience was going to resolve the issue. The tech had some knowledge but was unsuccessful after 2 weeks. It was just my luck that I chose Supreme Heating searching the internet for a company close by. They had great customer service from the first call. Someone came out that day to appraise the situation. The next day, the men were able to bring a new furnace and worked diligently to remove the old and install the new. They were pleasant and efficient, checking if heat was coming to each room, and cleaning up all the debris. I was quite impressed by the company's quick action. We take so many things for granted until we don't have heat or things like a working toilet, TV, or needing more food during a blizzard. AI made 3 appointments for me for Friday, Saturday and Monday. No one showed up or called except for this morning only to tell me they had no one to come fix my problem. Even the office manager lied to me (sadly, not the first time). This is not the first time AI made an appointment then someone called to tell me they had to reschedule. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. They get a zero from me as far as customer service. Their prices are high, they don't follow through with promises and dealing with a system that seems as if a 3rd grader set it up is more then enough red flags to send me running for a new HVAC company.
