First time here. Location is a little tricky to find but once you do, they have plenty of space and parking. They had a large variety of ice-cream flavors and customer service was great, welcoming very friendly and offered us plenty of free samples before purchasing. All the flavors were tried were original and great. The only issue we had was, once we got all the way home and opened our bag we discovered we only received 3 of the 4 pints of ice-cream we paid for. At 12$ dollars a pint that was a pretty big bummer. May try them again if in the area. read more

Down in the neighborhood and wanted to partake in some ice cream on a Sunday afternoon. My husband and I came here and tried a few sample flavors before deciding on our picks. Delicious flavors include Banana Pudding, Black Walnut, Peach, Peach Cobbler and sweet Potato Pie. This spot had very unique flavor profiles and the quality of the ice cream was excellent. They sell singles, doubles and pints. My understanding is that some of the ice cream can be found in local grocery stores. All in all, it was super yummy. The other week our family decided to head down to the Pullman Historical Society for their monthly neighborhood walks. It was a scorcher and I wanted to try this hidden gem that I had heard about and I'm glad we did. Richard's is in an unassuming building off of 111th. This is really a grab and go establishment as there is only a few chairs and no tables. I love the assortment of unique and delicious flavors. The servers were very patient and as I made my decisions and asked for a couple samples. My wife got the sweet potato pie which tasted exactly like its namesake. I'm guessing this company is family owned. Driving pass you can miss this place because there's no huge sign and it looks like it's an office building. The Black Walnut and Butter Pecan had plentiful amounts of nuts; the Mango was delightfully fruity; the Banana Pudding tasted exactly as you'd expect; and, the Sweet Potato Pie ice cream was decadently delicious! Heard about this place from the site blackpeople eats and knew I had to try it. Visited Saturday afternoon, to try banana pudding ice cream but ended up buying strawberry cheesecake and peanut butter cookie dough. They are curbside only so we ordered and a nice young man brought it out to the car. 5 minutes in and out. The ice cream was rich, creamy and flavorful. I went to Richard's for the first time on 14APR21 on the recommendation of my sister. I was greeted by a gentleman named Lenard who was more than hospitable. I was unaware that they offered samples, and Lenard made sure to enlighten me. My date and me sampled a few different ice creams: all of which were spectacular in both texture and taste. He then brought out additional samples that were some of his favorite and some which were commonly bought. I sincerely appreciated his knowledgeability of their selections. Finally, he offered my date and me an opportunity to park near the store where he served us additional samples. Not ONE ice cream was a weak point as they were all top notch. It's places like this that make someone want to continue eating meat. My gf and I stopped here on our way back to Indianapolis and we are more than satisfied. If there was a problem in our relationship... we are getting married tomorrow lolbvvs. From the first bite of my double cheese burger to the last bite of her grilled cheese dipped into my chili cheese fries we are in love.
