They were okay. Service was sweet. The ice cream was just ice cream. Nothing spectacular but absolutely nothing bad. The interior vibe was a VIBE. City Street Parking. IYKYK

I went here with my cousin last week after dinner. It was my 1st time trying Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream and I was amazed! I got 1 scoop of Gooey Butter Cake and 1 scoop of Pistachio. My cousin got 2 scoops of Chocolate. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was nice & spacey for us to enjoy our ice cream.

The best ice cream in Chicago. The Logan Square spot has a cozy feel that wasn't too crowded or too empty. I got a trio, but I HIGHLY recommend the coffee flavor. Regardless of what you get, everything here is a home run. Staff was friendly and patience with samples. Go with your friends or on a cute date! - AD

You know an ice cream spot is good when the line is out the door! Every time we go to Jeni's we can smell the fresh waffle cones when we open the door. It's definitely worth the wait, the ice cream is one of the most premium ice creams you can get. And even when you get the ice cream in a cup they give a little chip of the waffle cone. There are a small amount of seats inside so if you're lucky you can get a table. I came by to try their fly by jing spicy chili crisp limited time promotion. I got the double chocolate, salty caramel, and vanilla as a base. Surprisingly the chocolate was my favorite. The chili crisp has such a strong flavor that went well with the deep bitterness of the chocolate. The vanilla was a bit too plain of a flavor and did not balance as well with the chili crisp. Note that you can also ask for the chili crisp on the side! They seem to give more that way. It's a very strong flavor though so you don't need much. They also serve pints of ice cream to go. The workers are pretty friendly and can help you decide which flavors to get if you need help choosing.

Great service and selections at this location. Absolutely loved the chocolate peanut butter ice cream. You can expect to pay a higher rate than most other ice cream places for this artisanal ice cream, but it's well worth it.

Yum! I love Jeni's ice cream and it's a must stop for me when I'm in Chicago. I l love that you can try samples before you select what flavor you want, the standard size comes with 2 flavors and you get a fresh waffle piece on every ice cream so no need to upgrade to the waffle bowl! The seasonal flavors are always great and my favorite are the brambleberry crisp and the darkest chocolate! It's the ultimate treat on a hot day!

This is always a great spot to stop by for ice cream! There are so many unique flavors and the service and atmosphere are always great! I sometimes don't crave too heavy of flavors here (which they are great at making if you are looking to indulge!) but they always have a few lighter flavors that I can enjoy. There are also gluten- and dairy-free options for those interested! They have a ton of take-home pints as well.

With the heat and the huge number of people at Wicker Park Fest this Saturday, I decided to slip into Jeni's to cool off with some delicious ice cream. Food: I got a fantastic combination of what they called "Saturday in the Park", a combo of Wildberry Lavender, Lemon Bar, and Brambleberry Crisp ice creams. The price point was good and they also had Boylan's Black Cherry soda, a staple of my childhood, so I indulged myself. It was the perfect combination of refreshing, yet savory. Service: the workers were super busy, but took care of each person who came through very carefully. I was impressed with how packed it was that they were focused on a person at a time making sure each customer was happy. Aesthetic: adorable place with a nice flow to it.

Amazing ice cream. Waffle cones were flakey and buttery. Service was great! I really appreciated the recommendations - the bramble berry one was fantastic. Only downside is it was a bit pricy for the amount of ice cream you got, but it's worth trying for sure.

jeni's was my favorite ice cream chain when i lived in atlanta, and i was so excited to have it in chicago 2 years later! this location has a decent amount of indoor seating. we also were able to sample a lot of flavors -- the main downside of jeni's is that it's expensive but at least you can have 2 flavors for a single scoop. bowls come with a waffle cone piece. flavors i got: wildberry lavender: used to always get this flavor. it's more of a berry flavor with a hint of orange and light lavender -- tasted a bit more like sherbet than what i remembered. double dough: got this as a half scoop too. it has cookie dough pieces and a carmelized/burnt butter flavor ice cream. flavors i sampled: gooey butter cake: used to get this a lot, but it's definitely one of the sweetest ice creams they have. texas sheet cake (dairy free): dark rich chocolate with cake pieces, but you do taste the coconut base aftertaste.

Classic midwest ice cream shop that reminds me of Salt & Straw back on the west coast! Really delicious ice cream you can't go wrong with rotational flavors. Tried their strawberry buttermilk and dark chocolate. The strawberry buttermilk was sooo creamy and smooth, although I wish there was a stronger strawberry flavor. Dark chocolate was very rich and great for chocolate lovers. Like that they give you a few waffle chips even if you don't get a cone, still get the best of both worlds.

It's been a while since I've been to Wicker Park's Jeni's Ice Cream. Parking is still difficult as before but there are metered parking if you can snatch a spot. The entire street is very walkable. Lots of things to see. I tried three before settling on Salted Licorice and Bombastix. The Brown Butter Almond Brittle is very buttery in flavor, it's really good with the small bite but I feel like a bigger scoop can get a bit too much for me, so I went went the other two. Salted Licorice isn't as strong flavored as I thought it would with licorice, because of the small bits, when you bite into it you can taste it but it's not overwhelming or repulsive in any way. I liked that it was sprinkled strong taste rather than the entire ice cream tasting like licorice. 5/5. Bombastix was more flavorful than salted licorice but not as strong as brown butter. I liked the crunch in it. You can't go wrong with this-- fudge, and waffle cone chunks. The cup with 2 scoop comes with a piece of waffle piece. My husband got Lemon Bar and Frosé Sorbet. Both are really good, compared to all the other non-dairy options he's had. The Lemon Bar had actual lemon chunks in it, adding the texture and pocket of lemon flavor without being overpowering or bitter in any way. Exceeded our expectation for just being a lemon bar. The Frosé was also surprisingly good-- it's got a slightly alcoholic punch and is very smooth for a sorbet. Definitely pricy for the size but not out of the norm for specialty crafted unique flavored scoops. Would definitely come back to try other flavors!

ICE CREAM = SCRUMPTIOUS. Came here 2x within 72hrs and still think about it daily. Ordered the snow cone, brambleberry Crisp, & double dough ice cream and all were delicious. They have a good array of GF/dairy free options to fit a majority of dietary needs. They provide samples if you want to try any flavors and employees are super kind. They're pretty efficient at getting through the long lines and providing applicable recommendations. Can be a little busy but again the like moves super fast. Seating is limited indoors but sweet treat w/ hot girl walk is pretty epic too. TLDR// great decor & SNOW CONE IS 100000/10. limited time flavor so go fast.

Isn't it a bit outrageous when we're charged an extra $3 for a separate paper cup due to a nut allergy?

It was pricey but enough for 2 people to share. Metered parking on a weekend evening was easy. My only complaint is that it had a strange, unpleasant smell inside (we were there in the evening during the weekend of April 25th). Also, when I came a few years ago, it had a really cozy, welcoming vibe packed with comfy couches. Now, it just looks like basic tables and plastic chairs, lacking comfort, character, and charm. I'm hoping to return to try the sweet potato latte and the other shaved ices, but I hope they do something about the smell and make the space feel more cozy and inviting.

I found it interesting that the hot fudge was served on the side, but it's actually pretty smart because you get control how much (or how little) sauce you get. The ice cream is the highlight. It's creamy and rich, and it's got a really nice flavor, too. The hot fudge was less impressive, but that might be because I had already eaten a Ghirardelli sundae earlier in the day and their hot fudge just can't be beat. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was kitschy and fun. It's a cool place.

It didn't really come together as a unified dessert for me. I wanted the brownie to be richer, fudgier, maybe even a bit sweeter. I would probably get something else next time. The everything bagel was a good texture, but the fennel seeds in the seasoning took me so far away from the classic "everything." They overpowered the other flavors, but the texture was fantastic.
