I incorporated a company through them. I spelled the name correctly each of the 5 times on my end. They spelled it incorrectly on their end and are giving me the run around to fix it, telling me I should be calling one of their staff at a certain time, instead of fixing it internally and getting back to me. I have the wort experience of dishonesty and rudeness with this registry. I went to this registry to register my car and my companies annual return, the agent (Shirley). I paid for my registries, and she printed the receipts. When later I checked my papers noticed there is no print out of my registration. When I went back she denied the fact and said you need to pay $28 to get a reprint. read more

Bad thing is that the Registry's manager Kim is not interested in a feedback about her employees, especially the driver's examiner Rick, license No 10207 who has at least 70 terrible reviews. They are really terrible, and some of them suggesting that he should be fired.I spoke to Kim in person but she was not inerested in my feedback. Rick fails everyone just to charge the fee twice. This is not a good place to do business, but it's the closest registry to my house, so I keep trying. If you have paperwork from an auction house, they will not accept it. If you come in at 5:30 pm and they close at 6:00 pm, they will create reasons not to help you. Some of the staff are nice, but some really do not like people. I have done most of my registry services here, and have had a good experience usually. WOW. As if buying a new vehicle and doing the whole registration/insurance process while working full time isnt stressful enough. Went in here on my lunch break thinking it should be an easier process than all the rest. I let the woman know upon coming to the counter that this was my first time insuring a vehicle in AB and to let me know if I needed anything else. The woman licked her finger and was rubbing the ink on my bill of sale accusing me that it either wasnt real or original just making a scene in general. She was just very rude for the whole interaction. I am VERY unimpressed. I know this type of business is a need to us so they do not need to have "customer service skills" however a little kindness goes a long way in how you treat people. These is the worst registry I've ever seen in Calgary. Rude and slow. Unhelpful! I went to there just because it is closed to my house. Once I did my business return. A lady said busy and I agreed to let her mail the certificate to my home.But I have not received the certificate through mail after one month more. I went to there to ask for a copy. A lady said I need pay 30 dollars. I gave their convenience when they said busy and let they mail to me but they failed and tried to charge me so much money!! I refused! I went into this place to get my car registration done. Before I went in I checked online to make sure that they accepted Visa. Their website shows Paypal, Visa, Amex, Mastercard and something else that I couldn't decipher the symbol for. So naturally I assumed that if their website said they accept Visa, they would. Well, apparently they don't. When I went to pay with Visa the clerk told me thats only for online payments. The website does not specify that at all. I told the clerk this and he offered no apology or anything, he just kinda stared at me like it wasn't his problem. So I paid with debit but when the clerk handed me the debit machine it informed me that there was a $0.50 charge to use debit! In this day and age, no matter how big or small your business is, charging for use of a debit machine is insane! Next time I'll remember to bring in all my change and pay them with that. Overall, bad experience. I HATE being charged to PAY for something. Avoid if possible! read more

I paid $80 for Richmond Road Registries to process my annual Corporate Return. I visited 'Registries Unlimited' in the NE the same day and discovered they only charge $70. To create a Corporation Richmond Road Registries charges $495 and "Registries Unlimited" charges $405. Richmond Road Registries are gouging for the simple task of processing paperwork. It's a fair drive from where I live in the SW to "Registries Unlimited" but I don't mind because I refuse to be gouged. I have no affiliation with "Registries Unlimited". I'm just saying shop around. read more

Had the worst experience Ive ever had at any registry there today. Went with a friend of mine to write our learners exams. We were just there & wrote them yesterday. She's been 3 other times other than the two with me. Yesterday they told her if she passed her test she would need to bring them proof of address before she could get her actual learners license card. Today we went & a different lady sitting right beside the one she went through yesterday said they wouldn't even put her on the computer to write the test until she brought her proof of residence & "entitlement" & then proceeded to ask her repeatedly "how are you in Canada?" Meanwhile my friend was born here & in all the commotion my friend walked out & I had my son with me so he ended up having to sit with me on the computer instead of my friend & as I'm leaving they're telling me if i came back I couldn't have my 5 year old near me to write the test next time. Overall awful awful customer service, racist staff, inconsistent practices & protocols. Zero compassion or empathy. 0/10 review from me. 10/10 will never ever ever ever step foot in that place again. read more

My experience has not been as bad as the previous reviewer, though it is already bad enough. I moved to Canada two months ago, and will only stay here for 3 years. When registering a car, they've got my name wrong on the system, under the excuse they could not fit all. I never realised it until when I had to exchange my foreign driver's license and the new one I've got has the incorrect name. They entered my middle name as the beginning of the last name, and now my real last name does not show. As you can imagine, this causes all kinds of trouble and i don't have two pieces of ID with the exact same name on it. I requested them to correct and they refuse, say that wouldn't be me (as if I don't know my real name ??). Second, beware if you're doing a road test there. I've driving for over 15 years, and had done and passed driving exams in two different countries I lived in. Also, I'm required to do driver's safety training every couple of years for my employer. I even did a private lesson as preparation for the road test, so I could learn any particularities of the test in Alberta. All of that didn't work, they sent me an instructor (old Indian guy) who seemed determine to have me fail from the start. He took away points on subjective items as much as he could, but he couldn't get to have me fail by the points, he pulled an "unsafe stop" out of an incident I slowed due to a misplaced stop sign. I was genuinely in doubt as the sign was misplaced, slowed down but thenrealised it wasn't for me, but for a parallel side road. He considered this unsafe (!!!) and fail me. Totally subjective and unreasonable, given the sign was misplaced. While I realize this may be my word against him, I will still try to file a formal complaint. He clearly was in a bad mood (my wife was there too and had the same feeling) but this should not affect my test, he should be professional enough to be able to handle this. Or maybe they simply try to make people fail as much as possible to increase their profits, I wouldn't be surprised given the treatment and experience I had. read more

For a tldr (too long, didn't read), please scroll to the bottom. I received more eye rolls in the 15 minutes that I was here than I have in my entire life! I was concerned that the older lady (Connie) was going to roll her eyes right out of her head! Several condescending remarks and eye rollings later, Connie informed me that I had wasted her time because I didn't bring a required document. Because she had already started the process, she told me that it would cost the registry money to terminate the process and demanded that I return to Richmond Registry to finish the process. After the treatment that I had received, there way no way that I would EVER be returning to this registry again, so I apologized and wished her a good day. As I went to grab my documents, she yanked them away and told me that she would be keeping them there until I returned. WHAT? I reached out to grab my documents back (because, I kind of need my identification and passport) and she yelled "EXXCUUUUSSEEEEE MEEE???" I calmly remarked that she was threatening to detain my documents, then proceeded to yank them from her hands (with some difficulty, I might add, as she was clutching them pretty tightly), and walk out. If you wanted me to come back to finish the process, you should have been nicer to begin with-- it's not that hard to be kind! I went to Registry Express in North Hill Mall and got my entire process done super quickly with great customer service :) TLDR; eye rolls abound, no lack of condescending remarks, tried to physically hold my personal identification documents hostage so that I had to return to complete the process and pay. Even if I lived directly beside this registry, I would NEVER go again. Go to Registry Express in North Hill Mall instead! read more

Nothing wrong with the service, but exceptionally disappointed that a $0.50 cent "convenience / processing fee" was charged when using debit. It's not a large amount of money, but it's the principle. If you're asking someone to use either debit or cash, don't charge a "convenience / debit fee" What a rip off. I won't be back again. read more
