Great crust. Great sauce. Great service. Our kids are small so everyone is vocal and rarely agrees. The whole family enjoyed Rich's.

Unfortunately, this pizza is not what it used to be. One side was well done, ok, overdone, the other cooked just right. Maybe the pizza oven was tilted, as cheese was missing on the burnt side? The sauce did not have much flavor either. The only good thing was that we were in Tuesday night when the special was going on, so we didn't have to pay full price. So I guess when the name changed, so did the recipe. I did have the pizza a few times over the last 3-4 years, but was giving it one more try hoping it would be as good as when it was a franchise. Sad to say I was disappointed again. Even with the Tuesday night special....it's just not worth it. read more

This place was ok. I didn't like the pizza. It had fresh ingredients, but didn't have any flavor. The crust was crispy and burnt. The lasagna was good. Meaty and cheesy. It took a long time to get the food. About a half hour. The atmosphere is casual. The waitress was nice. read more

I got carry out a month ago and this place has goods and bads. I was a little taken back at the setup-sort of dingy bar area in the front where I picked up my order. The server (I think) was behind the bar and had her kid with her. She took the $ and gave me incorrect change and then disappeared with her kid. Then I saw an older man who almost looked homeless walk behind the bar and start doing shots with two guys at the bar. A little unprofessional to say the least. I waited about 15 mins (took them almost an hour) for two medium pizzas, some good fella fries and breaded mushrooms. The whole experience was not very good. Now the food wasn't bad-everything we had was good. I might order carry out again but it will be doubtful. read more

Went to this restaurant and the food service was terrible. I could have gotten better service waiting in the line at a McDonald's in Chicago. The pizza was soggy and very greasy. I would never go back nor recommend this place to any of my family and family. read more

The thin crust pizza was very messy and the toppings slid off because they use to much sauce. The traditional Italian was very watery and dripped all over the place. I wouldn't recommend this place for pizza. The service was good. read more

More like Raw French Fries Joint... Pizza was pretty good. On the same page as Ed and Joes as far as style and flavor at a slightly (and I mean slightly) lesser price point. It is very thin and not filling but admittedly pretty tasty. Half pepperoni half cheese. I'm not a big fan of pepperoni cooked under the cheese so there was that... Garlic fries? No garlic and absolutely raw. If there's nothing more I can't stand in a French fries is the undercooked limp thang... Overall three stars. Good pizza don't know if it's quite worth the price. I ordered delivery through grubhub. Food was hot upon delivery - cheese fries and medium Friday night special pizza. Also, my older came 30 minutes before expected delivery time. Excellent! My only issue was I ordered a 3 Liter Pepsi ...and it was warm. Good thing I had ice. read more

Looking at it he pictures of the food a little disappointing. They gave good crust but it was under browned, making it a little soft. They use good ingredients, but the sauce is lacking flavor. Good pizza places need a signature pizza sauce. This place is close, but not there yet. read more

Tried Rich's Pizza Joint for the first time tonight. I love super thin cracker crust pizza and they did not disappoint. I ordered two pizzas the ghost pepper pizza with jalapeños and pepperoni and as a chili head I loved it!!!! The hotter the better!!!! I also ordered a pepperoni regular pizza and it was also fantastic. I will for sure be going back for more. I love the small bar atmosphere to have a cocktail order your pizza for there or to go. read more

We absolutely love Rich's Pizza Joint. Ever since Papa's Pizza in Oak Forest closed down, we have been looking for a delicious THIN THIN crust pizza -- Rich's nails it. The only issue I had was when I went in to purchase a slice for lunch, it took about 15 minutes to get my slice. I would never return here. Ordered cheese fries which were obviously from a bag. The cheese was fake and spewed on just one corner of the plate. When I asked for an additional cheese cup, this cheese contained lumps and small particles. The pizza was very mediocre and I honestly ate it because I was too hungry not to. Rich's pizza is my FAVORITE thin crust pizza ever! We get the par-baked pizza, bring it home and bake it for 10 minutes ..the crust is awesome! The "Friday Night Special" is my all time favorite. This is the best place to go for a thin cracker crust pizza. I would also recommend the 2 flat- thicker, cheesier crust, yummm! Kerri, our server was wonderful and kind. This is a great delivery place. The prices are fair, and when we order it usually arrives within the hour. The food is pretty good too, and their wings are really good. They also have great customer service -once I ordered through Grubhub and apparently there was some kind of promotion going on that didn't get applied since the Grubhub order was automated and they called me to let me know, and send a gift card with the savings that I would have gotten if I called in my order on a gift card. I think that was definitely going above and beyond and overall I would recommend Rich's, but call in your order in case they are running a promotion. read more

This place is a pathetic joke. They open at 11:00 AM with what is supposed to be a lunch buffet but when I walked in at 11:00 AM it looked more like a mini salad bar with no pizza in sight. Pizza didn't appear until 11:17 and IT (singular... as in, they only brought out 1 pizza that was a half cheese half sausage. The second pizza didn't come out until 11:40 and by 11:55 the so called buffet consisted of three empty pizza pans. WOW! What a colossal joke. I should have went to Beggars where you walk in at 11:00 you are greeted by a fully stocked buffet of 5 pizzas and chicken wings plus more. No, I do not work at Beggars. The owners of rich's joint should go to Beggars for lunch on their off day and see what a real lunch buffet looks like when the restaurant opens its doors to do business for the day. read more
