My wife and I were impressed with how quickly Rebecca learned our tastes and when we decided to do the second phase, which included all new furniture, everything that Rebecca picked out was perfect-the first time. We really appreciated that Rebecca worked hard to make sure that our home looked awesome but reflected our style, not what she thought our style should be. We had a couple of furniture pieces that were passed down from my mother and grandmother that we wanted to keep. The style did not fit with our new space but Rebecca had them refinished with a more modern look that worked perfectly with our new furniture. We have been continually amazed at the Rebecca Ward Design team's ability to design spaces that we absolutely love. We bought our home in 1998 and raised both of our boys in this home and our original design was definitely utilitarian. We told Rebecca that we were ready for a "grownups" home and what she designed is both beautiful and super cozy. They listened to my needs and were amazing at giving me different choices and at times making changes to the plan to suit my taste. I was astonished at how Rebecca was able to integrate my great Grandmother's Asian table into the scheme as it has tremendous sentimental value to me. They asked what my budget was and they stayed within that budget. Everyone who walks into my home now are truly amazed and shocked at the transformation. Both of these designers are professional but personable too. I truly miss seeing their smiling faces once the process was finished. I would say that staging day was my favorite as they come in with all kinds of accessories that bring each room to life. I would not hesitate to hire them for another project. We had experienced a water leak that caused significant water damage to a few rooms. I looked over a few contractors on Yelp and had them come out to give us bids for the work and after evaluating the bids, we decided to go with Solid Construction and Design. They were really competitive on their pricing and being a family owned company, assured me they will take care of my house like their own. Let me start of by saying, their customer service is top tier. Scheduling an estimator to come out was simple and all it took was a phone call to their office and they showed up the same day. The estimator was empathetic to our situation and assured us the work will be complete swiftly and with minimal interference to our daily life. We had ALOT of questions and they made sure that all of our questions were answered and provided guidance and feedback on all of our requests. We agreed on a schedule and had a crew come out in a few days. They were punctual and professional. While they were working at the house, we went to the company showroom to choose flooring and other materials needed for the rebuild. The showroom is spacious, has a lot of different options for flooring, tile and cabinets. What they don't have in the showroom, they were able to show online in a catalog. Great selection for every design taste. They also have designers in house who will guide you and show you so many different options for your project. The work was complete on time and on budget. The attention to detail and guidance through this project made us feel at ease knowing they care and this is not just another project but rather they were putting pieces to the puzzle to make the house whole again. First, Rob Rathbun the designer was really perceptive about how to handle upgrading the small space we had for a kitchen. The cabinets he chose were not what we had imagined, but were better than we had imagined. The implementation team was fantastic. Alex was a great project manager. Vasilli and Taurus were an amazing team doing the work to bring it all together. Our older (84 year old) roommate was in love with them after they finished her bathroom vanity and sink.
