Commode in the women's bathroom.

The atmosphere is great here. Parking is convenient. The decor is cute and welcoming. The servers are friendly and helpful. On the last occasion we dined in, I had a vegetable plate of sides, and they were average - pretty much what you would expect for things like coleslaw, mashed potatoes, broccoli, green beans, etc. I absolutely love their hush puppies. Soft, not too greasy and just a hint of onion. Delicious! My husband had spaghetti marinara. They did a fantastic job providing plenty of sauce (some places skimp). He did say that the spaghetti was OK, but it didn't have a lot of flavor. Tasted like there was just a little Italian seasoning sprinkled over it or into it before serving. We have also tried the cheese curds appetizer before. It was very nice. We found the price of the items we ordered to be very reasonable. If I have any issue with the restaurant, it is the design of the bathrooms. Talk about sitting on the throne lol. There is one toilet in the men's bathroom and one in the women's. They are elevated on bricks/block. I have no idea what the thinking was regarding this, but if you have limited mobility or you are handicapped, then you are probably out of luck regarding these restrooms. The women's bathroom does have safety rails around the toilet, but they are extremely flimsy aluminum. If you are able-bodied and have no issues restricting your mobility, then this will not be a problem for you, but it is important to note for folks who are in wheelchairs or who have mobility issues because you will either struggle or find it impossible to use the facilities as they are definitely not handicap friendly. There is a very nice changing table in the women's bathroom, so if you have young children, you will find that helpful. I am including a photo of the toilet in the women's bathroom to help out my disabled/mobility challenged friends.

Lunch with friends.

Rick's Crossroad Grill, Lincoln, Alabama. Fried shrimp dinner with sweet tea. Simply put, the best I've ever had, and I've eaten all across America. Unmatched flavor and quality. A true gem.

27$. The food was delicious and was given a generous amount. It wasn't the BEST prime rib of my life but for the price it was well worth it.

Philly Cheesesteak

Chill atmosphere with very friendly service. Average wait time I would say for the food and worth it. A lot of food per serving. Our table ordered: fried mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, chopped steak, spaghetti, Philly cheese steaks, & roast beef poboy. We were all very happy with our food. This is a must return and try again on our next visit to the area.

Inside is one open area with basic wooden tables and chairs. We were seated right away. Waitress said it was exceptionally slow evening. Service was excellent as she was attentive ensuring we were ok. Their menu had a nice variety for everyone more than what's posted on Yelp. Sorry, I didn't take an updated picture of it. Gulf Shrimp looked and tasted like regular shrimps from the grocery store. Nothing spectacular. Baked potato was good. Surprised they gave artificial whipped butter tho instead of real butter. Hush puppies were ok. One commented Mac n cheese wasn't that great but everything else was. Another commented the pasta was very flavorful but a bit watery and noodles overcooked. We didn't have any adult beverages so can't comment on it. Younger one had an ice cream sundae and said it was very good. Price was reasonable as well. We'll consider going back when in the area again. Recommend trying especially the catfish.

The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff has always been super friendly when I come in. Places like this are the reason I like supporting local spots instead of big chains. If you're anywhere around Anniston and want a really good sandwich, this place is definitely worth stopping at. I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in town.

They were patient with us while we looked over the menu. The menu is written on the wall which is a great touch. There was plenty of seating for our large family. We had the reuben, judge, courthouse, Marshall, and gurnee (sp?). They come with a selection of white, wheat, Italian or jalapeno cheddar bread. They also have several wrap options. They gave plenty of meat on each sandwich, which I appreciate and choice of veggies and sauces. We got combos with a drink and chips. I also had the pasta salad as a side. It has a homemade dressing and sweet peppers in it. It was delicious. Our check was very reasonably priced, considering we have 4 hungry teenagers and 2 adults. We were starving and forgot to get pics.
