Pretty good! My only complaint is why don't you guys have whole wheat buns for the burgers and not just the sandwiches??? Fries are good. Chili fries are good but I think they could be better. I've been here many times being a local, but I noticed on this visit how many unsanitary practices are the habit of the food handlers. It grosses me out watching the rub of the apron and wipe the forehead to pick up the bread or put the lettuce etc in place wearing no gloves and showing no discretion, there was a B grade in the window and I have no idea what that is about. This is my last visit to Ricks. I hope that this review provokes a more conscious effort to demonstrate reasonable sanitary habits. Great food!!! read more

My family and I came to Rick's in and out Restaurant for the first time and I'm happy to report that we were happily satisfied I give Rick's 5 mainly because of the decent food,clean place and excellent service. I was really surprised to see how busy Rick's was, But after our visit I realized why so many people enjoy going.. the vibes here are excellent and the staff is extremely friendly.. I came in for lunch and ordered their avocado bacon cheeseburger and was very disappointed when I'd received my platter. It looked good displayed but the hamburger patty was really thin compared to everything else. Even the slices of avocado were thicker. I'll need to try the chili cheese fries next time. read more

Easily my favorite burger in Wilmington. Nothing too overseasoned; if you like simple food that tastes like what it is instead of salt and paprika *cough*GusTommys*cough*, Rick's is a fine bet. Their fries are an excellent compliment and the fish sandwich is also a favorite. I can't vouch for much of the rest of the menu, as I've tried little else. Do avoid the club sandwich; last I tried it they used what tasted like slimy pre-packaged supermarket cold cuts instead of the carved turkey you'd get at most cafés--it was unpleasant. Stick to burgers or fish sandwiches. As much as I love their burgers, however, there is an undeniable caveat I've noticed over the years: hit up Rick's on a weekday, never on a weekend. Their food is noticeably different on Saturdays and Sundays, and in my opinion vastly inferior. I'm assuming they have a different cooking staff on the weekends; Rick's would do very well to strive for more consistency than they currently display. read more

I love getting stuff from ricks and the cooks are really nice even offered to remake my food BUT there's this blonde middle aged woman who acts like she runs the place. She cussed in front of me then turned to talk shit in Spanish to the rest of the employees I guess she didn't know I spoke and understood Spanish too each time I go to ricks and she's working it's a bad experience from the get go she had an attitude already and spoke to me like she was my mom. She's got a nasty attitude and doesn't care. She made me wait 10, TEN minutes to even ask me what I wanted. It was a pick up order and she rolled her eyes gave me attitude and even when I spoke calmly to her she continued with her shitty attitude. I have been coming to ricks for 9 years my sisters and I usually get a chicken strip plate or the Santa Fe burrito with avacodo slices but today I felt like a double cheese burger with fries and a coke and mind you it was so good love ricks but when the girl totaled me out my meal came to $15 and some change that upset me when I called in my order the girl should have said we do not have a double cheese burger combo she charged me separate for everything after I payed and questioned the outrageous price she had the nerve to ask if I still wanted my order!!!! Of course I do I did just pay for it!! Next time I want a double cheese burger combo I'm going to the actual in&out burger at least it's 5 bucks there!! read more

I really want to love Ricks because it's so close to home & the food is decent but I won't be going back. The service is horrible! You try and order and the waitress ignores you completely. She doesn't even bother to acknowledge you & the cooks just keep their head down into the food & act like you aren't there. Where is the manager of this place!? And after all these years why hasn't any maintenance been done? The drive thru menu is the worst, trying to order is so annoying & they always tell you to drive to the window, what is the point of the drive thru ordering menu? This place is a run down shack with decent food. Maybe I'll go back if they improve a little but after all these years I doubt it. It's always going to be a little stinky run down hamburger joint. I've been eating at Ricks since i was 7 years old. The cooks are still the same ones so the burgers have kept their quality. The ladies up front can have an attitude at times but hey working customer service who wouldn't. FRIES are some of the best i have ever had especially when they cook em to perfection and a little extra crunch. No complaints thus far. what a landmark for wilmington! i love this spot! its absolutely delicious its a bit pricy but the food their will have you saying screw the prices .. its small but room for people to dine in.. the employees are really nice only thing is it takes a bit to get your food.. wich i dont mind sometimes but if your in a hurry not your best option.... burgers are better than tommys fries are also better! they carry different dishes too.. like shimp defried is my favorite... they got free refills and they also have a bathroom witch comes in handy at a restaurant.. they also have grilled chiken plate that is nice for the price... their breakfast deals are bomb!! and if you fear the city of wilmington ricks is a nice place to have breakfast lunch or dinner because cops are always eating their. parking lot is not so big but theirs always a spot available! and they also have drive-thru for all you fast pasete eaters.. read more
