Without hesitation he said Tortuga Bay and recommended the Torta Ahogada and Barbacoa tacos... not only was the Torta Ahogada smazing but the people there, 1 im guessing is the owner are amazing. This place is a no frills food counter with a few indoor tables the spill out onto the small strip mall sidewalk and ftr does have a 'no public restrooms' sign - although i suspect that may be a general suggestion to keep loitering down? I loved LA/California so much that Yesterday for Valentines Day Mrs & i returned and immediately after getting our rental went straight back to Tortuga Bay for more of the same, PLUS the barbacoa and fish tacos... the Torta Ahogada is a MUST have, but the barbacoa tacos are *awesome* as a second choice!

This truck is ever so clean and the service is fast and friendly. Yes, there is a line but it moves super fast. There are places to sit or you can take away or eat in your car. They have an adorable truck, there are a few locations, but this one is the one you want. They have a nice variety of drinks and their prices are super fair. Everything is served on paper plates and because I am a nut I bring a hard plate to put under the paper plate. You will love this place.
