I came to LAX Tacos for a few people from my ministry after another spot had closed. Someone suggested LAX Tacos and said they had been before, so we decided to give it a try and Yelp reviews. It was a Friday night, so the line was long and the lighting around the kitchen area was a little dim, but once we placed our order everything moved at a steady pace. I ordered several chicken tacos and the rest of the group ordered al pastor. They gave us plenty of onions and condiments on the side, and everyone enjoyed their food. The flavor was strong and the portions were fair. The payment system is simple, they hand you the device to pay, and the staff keeps things organized. Drinks were solid too. Four stars for good food and a dependable late night option.

Good tacos but they lacked a bit of flavor to me. The horchata was good, though. What's nice is that LAX Tacos is a budget friendly spot that's quick and close to SoFi stadium. So if you are short on time but want to grab food before a sports event or other event at SoFi, LAX Tacos is right down the street on Arbor Vitae near the stadium.

Yesterday, I finally tried LAX tacos after living in LA for over a decade. They did not disappoint. I got the crispy chicken and pastor tacos. The pastor meat was so well seasoned, wow. These will be my go to next time for sure. Not traditional style imo which is perfectly fine for me.

We landed at LAX at 8:35 AM and were craving authentic Mexican food. A lot of nearby spots were closed for Monday or didn't open until later, and one place we drove to showed "open" but was actually closed. On the way there we noticed LAX Tacos was open, so we headed back and decided to try it. I ordered four tacos: carne asada, buche, carnitas, and lengua. My husband ordered two hard-shell tacos and two regular tacos, and a carne asada burrito with rice. We asked for spicy salsa on the side. The plates come with pickles, carrots, and rabanos, which is a nice touch. The meat had really good flavor overall. The only taco I wouldn't order again was the buche. It just wasn't to my liking. The salsa had good flavor but wasn't spicy at all, which was disappointing since we love heat. We also ordered three sodas. They do offer aguas frescas, but they aren't handmade, so we skipped those. Overall, it satisfied our taco craving after a long flight. Would I return? Honestly, it's a 50/50 for me.

This place is the definition of hit or miss. I stopped going for a while because I had 2 straight bad experiences but 3rd time's the charm. Pastor Fries were incredible. Felt like 4lbs of toppings. Fresh guacamole, nicely seasoned beans, crispy Pastor that wasn't too chewy or fatty. Fries seasoned and crispy. Carnitas were shredded nicely with a little crunch just how I like them. Right when I thought I was out they pulled me back in!

This is a go to spot for asada fries and their California burritos! I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. I always recommend this spot for anybody craving asada fries. It comes fully loaded and will definitely fill you up.

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

That's what fruit, plain yogurt, and chia seeds are for. Maria's doesn't use any healthy oils, pasture fresh eggs, fancy potatoes, aiolis, or specialty meats. What they do have is 3-meats, melty cheese, textural contrast, and a good, spicy salsa. All that for $10. Ten dollars. I got home to find two giant pieces of lightly fried fish atop tortillas, and basically a full (almost ripe) avocado sliced in half, not cut up. All the other fixin's were on the side so you assemble everything yourself (cabbage, pico, chipotle sauce). Once everything was assembled, which took a while thanks to the tough avocado, I was hugely let down. Despite the large quantity of food, the quality was just not there. The fish was flaky and not overly fried, but it tasted like the ocean, not in a good way. SO so so much salt, yuck. Also disappointed by the sides. The black beans were quite runny, more liquid than beans, and the rice had a bunch of random veggies in there that took away from the dish. I'm sure there are many good things on the menu, but their fish taco meal just ain't it, sadly.
