I was on my way to Luua cafe, but parking was impossible, so I kept driving on La Brea hoping to find something else, and boy did I find a gem! First I saw the bakery and decided to check it out, it was well stocked with Pan dulce, it looked very humble but clean so I purchased a few, then I looked at the little butcher/restaurant place and went in to see the menú, I ordered the guacamole and birria tacos, and I am obsessed with the guacamole! It doesn't have garlic and the guacamole SHOULD NOT have garlic, it was perfect and super fresh, I am craving it again so I'll head over for some more, the service was great, the cashier and everyone around were very friendly and helpful, if you had a bad experience, you probable have to check your attitude....

The restaurant food taste delicious. This review is for the ham I purchased by the pound from the deli. It was old ham. They sliced the ham for me so they seen it and still sold to me like that! I even asked for cheese and they only have packaged cheese for sale and I went to look and they only had cheese that expired July of this year. That should've been my sign to leave and i didn't say anything I just ordered my ham, chips and beans. but when i got home the ham was definitely old close to expiring and the chips and beans weren't fresh.

We ordered catering for Father's Day and everything was prepared so nicely, organized and clean. The owner helped pack the food in our car and by accident our fire extinguisher was pressed and got all of the packaged food covered in the white dust! The owners were so nice and insisted they changed the plastic. The food was delicious and my whole family enjoyed it! Will definitely come back.

Family has been coming here for years...had a chance to revisit today. Meat market and restaurant...food is beyond delish as it was made by your abuelita o mamá. Menu is simple but the taste is something you will always come back for more. Be patient food is cook to order...well worth the wait. Enjoy

It's really good and family owned but pricey They accept debit Have a lot of options But what bothered me honestly is that the food here is really pricey Like my soup was almost 17 dollars ? But overall good food, small restaurant And ladies seem really happy to cook and be in the kitchen overall Ate with my husband and we both loved it :)

Bomb food! I always get the breakfast burrito cuz it hits the spot every time. It comes with chorizo, eggs, beans, cheese and chilaquiles all stuffed inside! Needless to say its huge, they give you a side of crema and chips with it and have a fresh salsa bar (probably one of the best I've seen).Their agua frescas are delicious too! Though I've never had any of the other food, I see it made and served it looks just as good. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could only cuz it's a bit pricey. I paid almost 20$ for 2 burritos. but the foods bomb! The parking lot can be tight if you find a spot but doesnt stop me from going.

The owner will message you privately to cuss you out, instead of solving the problem! Wow lol ... Who does that??

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience. She really ate DOWN, whereas our food and the price point did not.
