This hidden gem inside Arden was such a lovely way to end an anniversary dinner! We loved every aspect of the space, from the hidden doorway behind the fountain in the Arden restaurant, to the funky music choices that gave the room its own separate vibe from outside. The inside is absolutely stunning with red velvet curtains and seats, black and white checkered floor titles, marble tables and gold fixtures and french risque art that tie it all together. The drinks are a bit pricey as expected and the martini menu they provide limits your drink choice to vodka, but the bartender told us we could order any drink we wanted, so we did! We loved how attentive he was during our service and that he respected our private moments afterwards as we enjoyed a good hour and a half in the corner gabbing away and stealing kisses as the night went on.

    Cute drinks!

Rideau is such a beautiful, super intimate speakeasy in West Hollywood. The space feels very curated with a subtle French-inspired RED aesthetic that makes the whole experience feels elevated. Their cocktails are made with Half Cut premium vodka at 45% ABV, so the drinks are definitely strong but made in a way that makes you sip slow and really enjoy the drinks. The bartenders clearly care about the quality and balance of each drink. The atmosphere is what really makes the whole experience worth it. The French music, dim lighting makes it feel elevated but not stuffy. This is the perfect spot for a date night, pre-drinks or a nightcap. Definitely recommended.

Hidden behind a dreamy floral entrance, stepping into Rideau feels like discovering a space that quietly transforms the moment you walk in. The transition from soft, garden-inspired surroundings into the speakeasy is seamless, yet striking. Inside, the ambiance is warm and inviting, with rich red tones, velvet textures, and dim lighting that create a calm, intimate setting. It feels thoughtfully designed--every detail, from the seating to the lighting, adds to an atmosphere that's both elevated and comfortable. The drinks were beautifully crafted, with a clear attention to both flavor and presentation. Each cocktail felt balanced and refined, with subtle floral and citrus notes and delicate garnishes that made them just as visually appealing as they were enjoyable to drink. What stands out most is how cohesive the entire experience feels--from the entrance to the cocktails, everything flows together in a way that feels intentional and well curated. It's a great spot for a relaxed evening, whether you're catching up with friends or simply enjoying a slower, more elevated night out.

Such a fun and unique spot. The hidden entrance makes it feel like a little adventure before you even get inside. Once you're in, the whole place has this moody, cozy vibe with great lighting and stylish details. Drinks were really well made and the atmosphere just makes you want to stay longer. Definitely one of those places you'd come back to for the experience, not just the drinks.

We visited Rideau for a date night and had a lovely time! We loved the martini-focused menu of craft cocktails and the beautiful 1920s-inspired decor, and the service was fantastic as well. Highly recommend for a date night, or before or after dining at Arden!

The Rideau speak easy was an amazing experience! Thanks to Jorell, Nour and Lens for making it a special evening . We will be back. . Also the have the best vodka in the world as an exclusive which is Hard Cut vodka!! It's so good

Rideau is a speakeasy located in Arden Restaurant. Reservations are a must as the place probably holds 30 max. You can make reservations on their website via email. Heads-up they do require a credit card for reservation. Rideau is behind Arden's main bar you will see a fountain and the society room labeled on the floor. Upon entry it feels like you are whisked to a 1920s French setting. They do have small bites but the focus is cocktails. All the drinks are done well and with intention. They are stiff but good! Pricing is $22 and up. The bartenders are the servers and are so kind. They really explain everything and give great recommendations. I ordered the La flamme cocktail for $35 and the prep was incredible. It was so good too. I was impressed! They tend to also have magicians on the weekends. Scott was the magician of the night and he was phenomenal. I still am thinking, "how did he do that?!" The whole vibe of Rideau was special and I will definitely be back next time I'm in West Hollywood.

Had a great time here. Perfect for a date night or chill girls night out. Great ambiance and music. My favorite drinks were the forbidden fruit and vanilla voyage. Will definitely be back!

Rideau is a one of a kind bar. This one of a kind bar one of the best kept secrets. From the moment you step in you're immersed in to a sea of vibrant reds that set the perfect mood, bold yet intimate and just the right amount of mysterious. Each cocktail feels like it was crafted by a wizard mixologist, balancing flavor and creativity. Rideau isn't just a speakeasy, it's an experience.

Had a wonderful Thursday night at the Rideau! Good drinks and great ambiance! The drinks came out quickly and the bartender came to our table and made sure we were doing alright. We loved the magic show and the Real Kazam blew us away with his performance! Thank you and we'll be back!

Started with drinks and, honestly, can't remember what everyone ordered. I got a Desert Quench which has a tequila base and flavors of bergamot, lime, raspberry and mango. Tasted great, no complaints. For food, we started with the bone marrow and meatballs. The bone marrow was like most bone marrow, you now what you're going to get, while the meatballs were underwhelming. They didn't look appealing in terms of color and flavor was lacking. Entrees, we each tried something different. The steak frites was cooked to order but really didn't set itself apart from other frites. The trout was cooked well, and seasoned nicely, but the purple cauliflower puree, for me, didn't come together in terms of presentation for the dish. The pistachio pesto pasta was very flavorful, mixing in the burrata on top and then the little pops of spice from the chili flakes.. Just a nice bite. Finally was the double wagyu burger with caramelized onions, American cheese and a sauce emulsified with bacon. Very tasty, and those caramelized onions just added another level to each bite. Overall, nice spot in WeHo serving up some tasty cocktails and decent food. Definitely get the pistachio pesto and double wagyu burger, but you can skip the bone marrow, meatballs, frites and trout.

However, there is no food menu just alcoholic drinks. I found parking across the street where the CVS & WholeFoods are located. I didn't have any issues, but I only parked there for about 2 hours. Right before I left, the bartenders helped me discover a secret entrance to the bar next door.
