She originally wanted to go for the aesthetic because of the pool table, and I didn't realize she was talking about this place, which made me even more excited since it's been on my list for a while. The ambiance inside is really nice, with beautiful decor and a unique vibe. I've heard they also have different shows depending on the day, which adds to the overall experience. It's definitely one of those places that feels lively and visually interesting. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, which was really good, and the Brussels sprouts were also delicious. The food overall was solid and enjoyable for a birthday dinner. What really stood out was the service. The workers were super nice, and when we asked if they did anything for birthdays, one of them actually went to check with the manager and surprised us with a cheesecake, which made the night feel even more special. We spent a lot of time taking pictures of the food, the space, and of course the pool table. There was a bit of a wait to get photos there since people can actually play on it and it's not just for decoration, but it was still worth it. Scarlett opened in January 2026 so they're pretty new to the scene. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing as you walk in. There's a lovely corridor before you enter the main dining room. I will say watch your head as you may hit it on the circle hanging poke in the middle of the dining room on your way to your table ! Obviously that's what happened to me and it was not fun. Lex-the magician was a fun addition to entertainment with his card tricks. There was also a very talented acrobat who gave us a brief performance. This is a great spot for a girls' night out! The food and drinks were both delicious, and the live performances were entertaining and added to the experience. The service was excellent--everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a popular place for influencers, so expect lots of people taking photos and videos. At times it got a little loud and distracting, but that's part of the atmosphere. The biggest downside for me was the temperature. Although it's a covered outdoor space with fans, there isn't air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. After about an hour, it became pretty uncomfortable to stay seated outside. Overall, if you're looking for a fun, lively night with good food, drinks, and entertainment, it's worth checking out. While the vibe wasn't quite my style, I can't say enough good things about the service and the quality of the food. read more

They do use an AI system when it comes to updating your reservation or making one. Apparently they are getting rid of that. While trying to make changes to the reservation it was hard to because of this system and apparently you have to wait X amount of times for them to ring through to the hostess. My friend found this place on TikTok and loved the aesthetic! Very cute place for their girl dinner deal or a romantic date night. You walk in to an outdoor courtyard with an old black and white movie projected against a white wall, a leopard print pool table, and a cozy fireplace. Deeper inside, there's a little cocktail bar and seating surrounding a hanging hula hoop. A dancer comes out about hourly to perform on the hoop, and the lighting gets dark and moody in the evening. The service was very attentive, and the Italian food was tasty. Not the best I've had, but still enjoyable. A bit on the expensive side. We had a birthday dinner for four at Scarlett last night and once again had a really great time. We ordered a lot of the same dishes we loved the first time, but added a few new things as well. We started with the yellowtail crudo, which was light, fresh, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the house bread, and honestly the butter that comes with it is half the reason to order it. Of course, we had to get the meatballs and polenta again, and they were just as good as we remembered. Everyone really enjoyed the wild arugula salad. I did think it was dressed a little lighter this time, which was a bit of a bummer because I loved it the first visit, but it was still a very good salad. For mains, we had the chicken parm, the tomahawk, crispy potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and added the wild mushrooms on the side. The tomahawk was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was absolutely delicious. The crispy potatoes disappeared almost immediately, and the Brussels sprouts were excellent as well. The chicken parm was probably the least-loved dish of the night -- not bad, just a little plain. I would have loved more sauce, even just on the side, because it was very sparsely sauced and ended up a bit dry. Service was great, and we actually had the same waiter as last time, which was nice. The whole "show" they put on in the restaurant is still a little silly, but honestly that's part of the charm at this point. The magician came to our table and did the exact same act he did last time. I'm not complaining -- he might only know three tricks, but he's really good at them. And outside of the Magic Castle, there honestly isn't much magic happening in Los Angeles these days. At one point he pronounced my niece and nephew man and wife, which gave us all a pretty good laugh. I did let the restaurant know ahead of time that we were celebrating a birthday, but they don't really seem to do anything special for birthdays. Totally fine -- the dinner itself was celebration enough. We also ended with the lemon "sorbet," which is actually much closer to shaved ice, but in the best way possible. It was refreshing, nostalgic, and somehow hit right in the feels. Overall, it was a great night. I went to this restaurant for my best friend's milestone birthday and the experience was terrible. It took them so long to get her entree and we complained 3 times about it while the rest of the party had the food. They tried to take another person's food away even though she wasn't done. Also, we were told there would be a magician at dinner and they said he left which was disappointing. They also tried to charge us an extra pasta entree that we didn't order. It's one thing if one mishap happens but it was one thing after the other. After all that the bill showed an automatic wellness charge and the fact it wasn't taken off is crazy. Came here with an out of town guest who had chosen this spot for a quick imprompt business meeting, so I went to another section of the restaurant entirely. Scarlett is one of the hottest new joints in LA which opened a few months ago apparently. (The Beverly center is within walking distance.) Oddly enough, I hadn't been to this specific part of LA and the Beverly center ever since they were foolish enough to let the Grand Lux (Ceesecake Factory family) leave. The Beverly Center has never been the same in many people's opinion since the Grand Lux left.....but I digress. Haven't eaten a ton at the house earlier, I wanted to go light. Went with a side of meatballs, the house bread, and an old school Shirley Temple-all delicious and pictured. You know this part was coming... CSA (or customer service All Star) was Emmitt-pictured. He was Johnny on the spot, was super attentive, and a real pleasure to deal with. Out server was Quentin I believe. He was so attentive and friendly! The food itself was good but nothing impressive. In my opinion- the pappardelle pasta, roasted baby carrots, and skirt steak were all worth ordering. The cheesecake and tiramisu were also good dessert options. I will say they do make a really good dirty martini here. It was really smooth and the olives were so good. The lychee martinis were not good - a little too sugary/ syrupy. It was a challenge getting a reservation in the same week of my bestie's birthday, but eventually we did. When you pull up they have valet for $16/$17 or metered parking. They have outside dining and inside dining which is where you want to be. I noticed there were a lot of girls eating here and just a couple of date nights. Our waiter was Quentin from France. He was very nice and recommended some different items, but it may be best to choose your own. We ordered the following: dirty pear and espresso martini drinks, tuna tartare, yellowtail crudo, smoked fish dip, Caesar salad, burrata, meatballs & polenta, truffle mushroom pizza, branzino, charred cauliflower, and truffle fries. My favorite items were the dirty pear drink, tuna tartare, yellowtail crudo, Caesar salad, and the charred cauliflower. The smoked fish dip was waaaay too salty we had to send it back. The burrata was not my fave, meatballs and polenta were mid, truffle pizza had an excessive amount of arugula and didn't even taste like pizza, and the branzino had no flavor and a lot of fennel which I'm not a fan of. Although some of the food wasn't the best, the entertainment was spectacular! They had dancers who kind of just walked around and smoked real cigarettes, a piano player and singer, and one of the best aerialists flying over the diners in a spinning hoop that I've ever seen! I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was extremely disappointed with how this situation was handled. After weeks of planning my 30th birthday dinner for a party of 13, I received a cancellation the day of my reservation because the restaurant was unexpectedly closed. While I completely understand that unforeseen circumstances happen, what was frustrating was the lack of notice. If the restaurant had already been closed for days leading up to my reservation, I wish someone had let me know sooner that reopening in time was unlikely. Receiving the cancellation just hours before my birthday dinner left me scrambling to find another restaurant that could accommodate a large party at the last minute. It created an incredible amount of unnecessary stress on what should have been a special day. Even 24 hours' notice would have given me time to make other arrangements and notify all of my guests. This was my 30th birthday, a milestone I had spent weeks planning and getting ready for... having everything fall apart just hours before dinner was incredibly upsetting. I had purchased balloons, a cake, and made flower arrangements for the private dining room we were supposed to be in. I was really looking forward to this event. No one wants to spend their birthday frantically calling restaurants instead of enjoying the day with family and friends. While I was fortunate enough to find another restaurant that saved the evening, the stress and disappointment this last-minute cancellation caused is something I won't forget. read more

You're at the entrance and don't feel part of the main restaurant. Very fun place to explore and hang around. They have the pool table and old movies playing. I thought they had live music which is a big draw for me but they had to shut it down and they've now replaced that with burlesque. I saw this place on TikTok and immediately needed to come here for the leopard pool table! We were able to get a 5:45 pm reservation the day before Valentine's Day. Upon arrival, the hostesses were very kind and accommodating. We expressed that we were unsure if bar seating or a table would be best because we just wanted to mainly get drinks. The hostess showed us the table and bar seating and let us choose! She was very proud to show our seating for the show and we went with the table. Since it was still early, the restaurant was pretty empty so we were able to freely take pics and play a game at the pool table! The pool table is located in a very busy area though, but all the staff was well trained to be cautious when people were there. It is hard to navigate around, especially when other people are there for the same reasons, but everyone was very timely and considerate! We had a birthday celebration at Scarlett on a Wed evening. The hostesses that checked us in could not have been more friendly. So far so good! The entry had a very nice vibe of outdoors yet indoors with loud techno music As we made our way toward our table, we passed high top and low tables to the left and right, a pool table in front of us and a small bar on the left. Behind the pool table was a small private room with a large TV, to the left was the main dining room with a red velvet draped piano and a round hoop hanging from the ceiling with a woman spinning and doing acrobatic moves to music. ( think Vegas meets WeHo). Our table was in the back corner, (later and throughout the evening there was a really good piano player that had a Stevie Wonder voice whom was terrific). They even had a classic movie playing on the side and a live show in the back, which really added to the vibe. The ambiance and service were both on point. My cousin and I went to Scarlett for Dine LA where we each ordered an appetizer, entrée and dessert for $65 each. We arrived at 5pm on a Friday and waited more than 5 min for valet so we both parked at a meter on Sherbourne Dr. As we walked over to the restaurant we realized the valet guy was sitting in the patio of the restaurant next door. Maybe on his break? We walked into Scarlett and the restaurant was stunning! The artwork, color scheme, furniture, and lighting were all so thoughtful and well-balanced. Love the live music, which you rarely get in LA, the space should be a cocktail lounge because the food is not good. I won't go through every dish because they were so boring, every vegetable was undercooked. The cauliflower entree was basically raw. The tuna tartar was decent and the roasted carrots had some flavor. Those were the only highlights of the meal. On top of subpar food, the service was bad, waiter didn't know the menu, food all came out at once a second after ordering, but no one checked on us the entire meal. We were celebrating birthdays and decided to try something different before going the Pantages for Hell's Kitchen. Hubby had steak I just asked him again about his meal HE DID NOT ENJOY IT. As soon as I walked into the space my body and mind were transported to another place in time. I have been to Europe, I have since the mountains of austria from a village, I have seen the Mona Lisa, and I have seen the red lights of Amsterdam, but I cannot claim cultural fluency of the Queen's (may she rest in peace) country. This place is suppose to be Italian, but the atmosphere did not give me Italian vibes, it gave me more like a speakeasy vibe in a garden, where the music and decor was modern luxury resting in elegant yet slow-roasting red. To precisely identify the collective vibe, I would call it Modern Morocco, in caricature form with beats to match. What I loved about this place, is that it was an LA hotspot, in form and guest. I was in awe, by the fashion all around me. I will be the first to admit that I would not able to select an Armani suit if it were to be lined up against 9 wash and wear suits, plus my best in closet comes from Macy's. But I saw a woman wear a poncho that looked more like a cape, and I was, like, great, grand, I get to see a cape worn to honor fashion forward bravery. I also took a clip of a woman who wore an all black outfit, but her shoes, had a maze print. Was she rocking a look? I also viewed other high end outfits with ruffles, fur, and asymmetrical cuts, and muted colors that were somehow still bold and I realized that I saw them as costumes for the night, not fashion forward clothes? And I really thought--- I do not have the base of knowledge to accurately decided if all the clothes around me were fashion highs, lows, or works in progress? I just enjoyed having the fashion show, in slow motion. When Conrand and I first arrived we were informed by two hosts that it would be almost impossible to get a seat at the bar, or at the restaurant because they were completely booked. I have been to other hotspots and I have gotten a seat. I mean it happens, one goes, tries their luck. I mean I am not hunting big foot, I might get a table on a Weds night or a bar seat. They encouraged us to play pool and order drinks. Cool. I can vibe with that plan, is literally the scene when one goes to play pool. We approached four people playing pool. They explain that we could play after them. We got the sticks, a girl named Haley (can't remember her actual name) asked if they could play after. I said that they could play with against Conrad and I. You know, a match that would bring strangers together, even for a good game, that would be enough for me. As we played others took pictures of the table--- it called for attention, no doubt on that. We had fun as we played, it allowed us to see the fashion, roast a bit next to the live fire, see the aerial dance in the middle of the dining room, and in general be part of the LA hotspot experience in a way that made sense to us! I will admit that playing pool in the midst of all the people coming and going was hectic. I had to let others pass, but at one point, I just bent and took my shots, others had to wait. As Conrad and I set up for a second game between him and I, a girl with blonde hair that was wavy from the top to the bottom, was wearing a jacket with ruffles, and her whole outfit communicated effort to be glam, started to pose in the table. I asked and she confirmed that she was an influencer. Her friend or manager continue to take pictures as we racked. A staff member tapped me in the back, and whispered to my ear, "Do me a favor, and let other people play, people have been waiting" This was the moment that tainted my experience red. If you play pool in other bars, there is a process to follow. There is either a chalkboard, people put coins or cards or other markers to note one's place in line. Here the pool table was up for grabs, and there was no standard way of knowing whose turn what's next? I felt like I had been called a glutton, I felt like I had been called inconsiderate, I felt like I had been called a selfish jerk. I took these feelings and let the staff member know that the way he approached me was unkind and made me feel like he could have delivered his message with more professional kindness. He tried to sanitize history and tell me two other people complaint that I basically was using the table for too long. Haley confirmed that I only had played one game. He tried to say that he said his sentence in a different way but he was responding to his failure in courtesy not his actual words. And I can take the hit, I did not understand that this was not a pool table but more a prop for the night. But, then the answer is obvious: policy and procedure. I wish I would have gotten his name, but his rudeness was the poison of the night. The restaurant needs a sign-in table for the pool table, or, flyers that explain that a person can only play one game, or have 15 minutes to the table because other people want to use it. Obviously it has a gorgeous ambiance and the decor is very unique, but I would not come here again. The drinks were fine, we were surprised to see that a WELL tequila margarita was $24, which was more than their signature cocktails. The bread was alright, not necessarily worth the $10 but the herb butter was very flavorful. The calamari was typical, nothing extraordinary. For main courses, the pappardelle was great and had a nice flavor. However, with the skirt steak you're mostly paying for a piece of fat in a sauce that is completely lacking flavor. For dessert, the pistachio gelato was nice. The guava panna cotta tasted more like yogurt than a traditional rich and creamy panna cotta. The service was alright, nothing above and beyond. Overall, it's not worth the price. If you're going to charge what they do, both the service and food need to be worth it in quality. I can stand mid service, but the food needs to at least be worth it. Just like Amour, I'm not sure how long this will be around. On top of everything, I wrote that we were celebrating my fiancé's birthday in my reservation notes and we received ZERO recognition for that, nor was anything done to celebrate. read more

Girl dinner! Surprised my bestie for her birthday dinner with the girls at Scarlett, and it did not disappoint -- she looooved it! I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first since they just opened and most of what I'd heard was about the pool table and dancers, not so much about the food. You know how some spots can be all vibes and no flavor? Thankfully, that wasn't the case here. Every single dish we tried was amazing, and we're already planning to come back and try the whole menu! I also have to shout out the staff -- one of our girls has multiple food allergies and has to be really careful when ordering. The team took their time walking us through the menu, explaining what she could and couldn't have, and made her feel completely comfortable. It was so thoughtful and genuinely appreciated. That's how every restaurant should handle it. 10/10 food, 10/10 vibes, 10/10 service, we luv it here and will def be back xx read more

Came here to catch up with friends. My initial thought about the establishment was dark and moody. As far as food, I'm not vegan but I do enjoy vegan food from time to time. I ordered the purple potato gnocchi. The pasta itself had a good and bouncy texture. My only complaint is that the pasta is overly salty. I've run into this issue sometimes at vegan restaurants when it's over seasoned to make up for the fact that it's not real cheese/dairy. We also ordered the espresso martini which I did enjoy as well as the tiramisu. There was no issues with the service, and we stayed a bit past closing and they did not rush us out so I'm grateful for that. read more

I had to cancel my reservation due to a legitimate family emergency. When I tried calling the restaurant, I realized the phone number listed on OpenTable was incorrect. Because I was concerned about being automatically charged if I canceled directly through OpenTable, I immediately sent a message explaining the situation and mentioned that my party of four was hoping to reschedule. They responded as soon as the restaurant opened, saying I would be charged $25 (not $5 per person as stated on OpenTable) and then ended the chat before I had the chance to respond. Shortly after, I saw a charge on my account that did not match the cancellation policy listed at the time of booking. Since the number on OpenTable didn't work, I found a valid phone number on their website and called. The woman I spoke with was extremely rude and insisted the policy had been updated. However, my confirmation email clearly states the fee is $5 per person, not a flat $25 charge. What was most disappointing wasn't just the unexpected charge, but the lack of professionalism and courtesy during an already stressful family emergency. Transparency and basic customer service go a long way... and unfortunately, neither was demonstrated here. read more

Gorgeous ambiance and great live performers! Still have some kinks to iron out here. Seemed like they were understaffed and the poor server was running around the whole dining area. Took close to 30 min to receive our check. Apps were delicious! Loved the meatballs with polenta and the tuna tartare was very fresh tasting. Pear cocktail was great as well but the zero proof drink for $18 seemed steep. Steak entree was cooked well and very flavorful but came with a hefty price tag. The fries were also very underdone and pale. For the carbonara it was a very tiny portion and lacked that creamy thick sauce that is usually on a carbonara. Tasted more like a cacio e Pepe. Panna cotta for dessert was excellent. Will definitely save this spot for a celebration and will wait a bit for them to iron out the kinks of a new opening. read more

This is definitely the place for girls night! I love that they have live music and overall the ambiance is great and vibey. Cocktails are very good. Food was honestly okay. I did really like the fried mozzarella. I do want to recognize their staff for being super friendly and providing great service! for trendy restaurants like this, it's common for staff to be rude or rush you, but not at Scarlett! Everyone even the hostesses were super friendly and helpful. read more
