When I call them they are quick to get me on their schedule and always so helpful. I was having a pesky squirrel issue that I'm sorry to say drive me crazy. Casey has been creative in helping remove this critter I have nicknamed El Diablo. There was a situation where rodents were able to access a generator and I was afraid they were going to start chewing on wiring which would mean replacing the entire generator. This is a story about the Squirrel from Hell. Once he discovered our Hummingbird feeder (see photo), he would come around multiple times a day to drink from it like he was a sugar water addict! We tried everything to scare him away and make him think twice about returning, but nothing could discourage his craving for sugar water. When he did see us or our dogs, he would taunt us like he was King of the Hood. We borrowed a few humane Squirrel traps to try and catch him to relocate him ourselves. Either they were too small for his size, or he was just too smart for us. I literally saw him crawl into a trap, eat the treats at the back and leave without triggering the trap door to close! We then decided enough was enough and got a bait holder and filled it with poison bait that was supposedly made to kill CA ground Squirrels. He proceeded to add eating bait to his daily routine and ate the bait pieces like candy between his front feet. Bait pieces washed down with sugar water was his new daily routine. We were at our wits end and ready to give up when Ridgecrest Pest Control came to our rescue! When Nick showed up with a much larger humane trap than the ones we had tried to use, I was encouraged. He set it up on the ground below the Hummingbird feeder, with a trail of peanuts leading to the opening of the trap, where a big pile of peanuts awaited Satan the Squirrel at the back of the trap. Sure enough, later that evening, we heard a loud sound of something slamming shut and we knew in that moment that the Squirrel from Hell had finally been captured (see photo). Nick came the next day to pick up Satan the Squirrel in the trap to relocate him far, far away from us and our addictive sugar water. I have been living with hundreds of earwigs and this service who is hired by our HOA don't return phone calls, or texts, and they say they will return pcalls at 12 and at 5pm, I have yet to receive one. I find It hard to believe there is nothing that will get rid of earwigs which is a very common insect. They leave their work order paper which says they have sprayed but the infestation has not been resolved and am going to have to leave my house until I either hire a private service or contact the actual board members to see what can be done. A technician came out a few days later and sprayed the perimeter of my home. Ants were gone for a good two weeks but then they were out again! Totally screwed me over. He sealed access points under my house without clearing inside crawl space of rats. Dead rat odor drove me from my home. It is uninhabitable until I can get someone else to tear things open to remove dead rat. Casey refused to return and fix this, saying that he had spent too much time and money on job already. Their house is backed up to a national reserve in Newbury Park so they get lots of bugs, rats and other wild life invading their home regularly. When I lived there it was a constant battle but since Casey has been servicing their home it is free of pests. He does an every other month thorough spray and inspection for a reasonable price. The main thing is that he actually cares about his clients and that is more than I can say than some of the other majorly advertised companies. Casey spends the time to make sure that we are satisfied with the work and educated us on how to avoid problems. He does service calls if an opossum or rat comes around very quickly and makes sure they are taken care of. When I had a home in West Hills I had a horrible gofer problem.
