I came here with my family & but unfortunately we couldn't see the movie due to how dirty it was. So the lobby area looks very clean & it's spacious, however the theater needs a major MAKEOVER! The seats were so disgusting, we couldn't stay. When we walked into the theater, a couple who walked in after us was also inspecting the seats & questioning sitting down. That is horrible! When my sister spoke to a manager he didn't give any push back (I'm assuming this isn't the first time this happened happened) & gave her a receipt or ticket to go to another location. Ughh I haven't been to the movies in awhile and was so exited to go. I purchased my tickets in advance. Checking in was a breeze but the service counter was a joke. We ordered nachos grande no salsa no jalapeños. Ordered pretzel bites i got flavored bread. The popcorn was stale and the hot dog was old. Got to the theater and it was lined with litter and I guess going to the movies isn't what it used to be. Movie was great service was horrendous. read more

Ridge hill the best place to come to for shopping movies or restaurants even if you just tryna come window shopping. The cinema is amazing it even has a bar inside in case you waiting for your movie to start hey! Why not a soft drink. If you come by car, which I suggest is the best way coming to this place you can pay a all day parking space for under $5 that's amazing! The food inside the theater is a bit over price, I.bought 2 hot dogs and a Powerade that was $16 mind u the hot dog bun had nothing inside. My boy got a small pop corn and a vitamin water that was $12. One thing I love about this place is the seating it's very comfortable. Plus the movies screen are huge with great sound and quality. I very rarely go to the movies but I went on discount Tuesday which is a good deal in New York $8.75. The movie theatre looks really nice on the outside but the theatre we was in theatre 10 was just average. The seats were old and the seats were extremely low. At first my daughter thought the seats were broken but they wasn't. I could never understand why the concession stand is so expensive. Almost $5 for a bottle of water and over $8 for a regular popcorn. On top of that they had a combo special for $21 ( 2 drinks, large popcorn & a snack) lets not forget everything is plus tax. I think if the theatre is offering a discounted entry on Tuesdays then they should discount the concession stand too. This is one reason why I don't go to the movies it's too expensive and if I do go I would prefer the dine-in theatre. Taking a date to the movies is not cheap anymore even on the discount days can cost you almost $50 dollars. read more

I actually like this theater. It's not our go-to choice because we like to reserve our seats so we don't have to fuss with anyone but if you know how to maneuver a movie night then coming here shouldn't be a problem. We usually order our tickets online because it's just that much better to do so. We always arrive thirty minutes early so that we can be one of the first to enter the theater. We have specific seats that we head towards that allow us the best viewing as access for bathroom runs, possible but I will never disclose that info to anyone because I don't like racing people. Concessions is probably the worst thing about this place. The lines are always super long and it takes forever to get your order. One thing I will say is that the cashiers are always nice, despite some of the nasty patrons. Bring your parking ticket with you so you can get a disco on your food. I want to say it's about $2 off the price. We've tried to eat at the restaurant within the building but you'll just get frustrated at how long it takes to get anything you order. You're better off coming to the shopping area early, eating at one of the better restaurants in the area and then going straight to the movie theater. Especially on opening nights. It gets very packed and people and their children can just be so oblivious to others around them. The theater can get loud from talking which is annoying but for the most part, people are usually relatively quiet. We'll probably always come here just because it's closest to our home but only as an alternative. read more

Sometimes I come to this theatre when the time is convenient rather than others. This theatre is on the third level of the mall. Right above dicks sporting goods and tj maxx. The theatre is very clean. It's very spacious as you walk in. There is cashiers available but there are multiple self paying stations if your using a debit or credit card. The downside is that the line for concession items are ALWAYS long! There is always only ONE cashier open while there are 25 people waiting on line about to miss their movie. There was one time that I literally missed the beginning of the movie meanwhile I got on line 20 minutes before the movie started. There is a restaurant in there and Ben and Jerrys and they never have lines so I always decide to get ice cream lately since it's quicker. Plus side is that if you have a parking ticket then it will discount money off of your purchases in the theatre. The theatre's are very clean and nicely set up. But now since new roc has the recliner seats it kind of beats their seats which just go back a little bit more than the regular ones. So as we were leaving we notice the whole parking lot was PITCH black! They blocked off going down to the ground level so we had to leave through some weird exit. Meanwhile my friends car was on the ground level and it took a while to find a way to get to her car meanwhile I had to literally drive her to her car because you couldn't see a thing because it was so dark. Meanwhile they shut the parking lot down at 11 pm and movies were still going on. That is NOT ok to have customers walk in darkness to find their car it's unethical and NOT safe! read more

I went early in the day but it looks like it does tend to get kind of crowded. I did quite enjoy the reclining seats though. I wasn't really excited about the fact that one of the people working there implied that parking was free but it was just indeed validated for a cheaper price but that is neither here nor there because I was suppose I could have read about that online. It's also really convenient if you have to run errands to Costco afterwards since that's just across the highway. Overall I would go back to this place again if I had local errands or wanted to grab something at one of the restaurants in that shopping center. read more

Love this place to see a movie and I have had two birthday parties for my kids there which they handled so well. They escort all the kids and give them a snack pack with popcorn a treat and something to drink section off an area and come back to check on you. Then you can have a pizza party either before or after. So easy You just bring your own cake or cupcakes. The theaters are comfortable and clean and there's a whole snack bar they even have Starbucks pizza and Nathan's and a bar for adults. There's also a little game room. I've been here maybe more than 7 or 8 times.! They have very good offers like for example on Tuesdays is just $8.50. In my opinion they only have one issue, their staff is RIDICULOUSLY SLOW.!!!! when I tell you ridiculously believe me it is.!! This movie theatre is very clean with lots to do in the mall itself. There's even a little restaurant/bar in the theatre lobby. The staff are nice; never had an issue with them. It's your average movie theatre with over priced food. I've been here plenty of times in the past. My favorite part is the view of my parents house. Having grown up around here, I remember before Ridge Hill existed: There was nothing. The whole parking situation seems to be a little messy. It's not terribly hard to find, but be prepared to pay $4 in addition to watching your movie, as street parking is coincidently dissapearing from all the spontaneous parking restrictions. Well played Ridge Hill. The movie theatre does offer a discount on parking if you've bought tickets. Just remember to bring the parking ticket to the front desk. Compared to other movie theatres in Yonkers, I would say this is one of the better ones. I would say it comes in second to The Alamo on Central Avenue which has free parking and serves food and beer lol Can't compete with that! The concessions are horrendous. I am so livid about this because it ruins the entire experience for us every single time. I'll excuse you the first, second, even the third time it happens, but it's common practice there and I am DONE with it. I waited 25 minutes in a line with only 3 people ahead of me this time. Really nice place. When you walk in, nice open lounge area, plenty of seating, as you wait for others to arrive. Plenty of electronic ticket stations, and a few lines if you prefer to speak with an agent to get your ticket. There are plenty of lines to get your snacks ($10.50 for extra large bucket of popcorn), as well as a full restaurant on-site. Not sure how good it was because we ate before coming. Once inside the theater, HUGE, clean and the seats were comfortable. The only thing I did not like, was trying to get to it. Need more signs to get to it. It is at the very top, but there was no sign. My brother happen to look up, and saw the sign way up top. And the movie, BOO2 WAS HORRIBLE!!! Not even worth being on free tv. read more

EVERYONE PLEASE BE ADVISED This place is horrible. I worked here 9 days and the managers are TRASH!!! Definitely Sanchez. She young and immature and lack of experience as well as her professionalism also without any direction of how to delegate duties. The Workers aren't the issue in the kitchen on the Nathan's side but the Health Department would shut this place down. Overall this establishment is poorly maintained and be careful from food poisoning and the inexperienced management (but there are some good people who do work here it's just the young dumb ones). 1 star is only for the comfortable seats. read more

Last night a group of friends and I went to see the 300 Rise of an Empire 3d film $16.75/ticket plus snacks. We waited 45 minutes for the movie to start then I had to personally pick up my phone and call the theatre to remind them that a theatre full of people were waiting to the see a movie. The reply was "oh its not playing?". They then hit play and played the audio for another 15 minutes without picture. 1 hour later we finally were able to watch the movie. Terrible experience. No apologies were made. What will be done to remedy this situation? I am a frequent customer who lives closer to Cross County Theatre and I can just as well take me and all my friends and family there. read more
