Hidden behind Walgreens in Odenton but what a nice finding! I got a fried egg sandwich & it was yummy. They have a choice of white, wheat, rye or bagel (plain & everything). I was greeted right away & it seems like locals come here quite frequently because they were greeted with a smile & asked about family, etc! Will def return

Umm... I was very disappointed with the quality and portion size of the "steak" on my sandwich.

Turkey, bacon and egg with extra egg, cheese snd scrapple on a bed of lettuce! Amazing!!!

Here is to other Keto diet-ers out there! Visit this place. You can request to have your burgers/sandwiches on a bed of lettuce instead of the bread buns! They also have a drip coffee that is less than $2!!!

Intimate convenience store located behind the Ace Hardware and Walgreens. I usually come here for a breakfast sandwich because they are inexpensive, tasty, and provide a great portion size. Their hash browns are humongous and their coffee is pretty good for a small mom and pop type of store as well. Customer service is always great and although it is tight and small inside, there's a few pub tables you can wait for your order at or stand. Even during the morning rush, they don't take long to crank orders out the door. I would highly recommend you give them a try.

Local spot tucked behind Walgreens & Ace Hardware. Always super friendly staff. My go to's are the megwich with two hash browns stuffed inside, pancake stack & turkey club (of course not all in one go ha). Usually really quick and food comes out piping hot unless of course you ordered something cold. It's busy in the AM but worth it!

    Meggwich.

Meggwich was good. Glad I tried something new. Great place to call ahead to pick up breakfast on the way to work.

My mom and I were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in for some lunch. We ordered an Italian sub with lettuce, tomato and mayo, a Steak and cheese sub with lettuce, tomato, mayo, a Meatball sub, and a side order of fries with gravy. The food is made right in front of you, so you could wait a while if there are orders before yours. The place was pretty packed. All of the seats inside were taken and there were quite a few people who picked up to-go orders. We brought the food home and dug in! Everyone enjoyed their food. Everything was fresh. The building is past/behind Walgreens. There are a few seats at this store. Inside there are one or two 2-person tables and a high top table that seats 4-5 people. There are a few tables and chairs outside. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also get your lotto tickets, cash checks, and do money orders here. Overall, we would return if we were in the neighborhood. The prices are pretty cheap compared to other delis. The food was good and the employees were polite and friendly.

Today was the day! ;) It was around 1140 so it wasn't busy yet, meaning I was able to order immediately and got my takeout order in about 5 minutes. The counter person was friendly and so polite. I chose a "choose two" with broccoli cheddar soup and the jalapeño turkey crunch sandwich. Both turned out to be excellent choices. I have to say that the soup beats Panera hands down. The broccoli was distinct bites, the flavor deep and rich, and there were nice globs of cheddar cheese. Wow! I've never had a sammie made with a jalapeño roll except those I make at home with bakery rolls. This was just delightful, and the "crunch" is supplied by jalapeño kettle chips. Inspired! Even one half of each was plenty to satisfy my hunger, so I'm getting two meals for just over $14 including tip. I will definitely go back to try other soups & sammies!

At 1:45 an employee working the dining room area asked the name of the order I was waiting on. He went and asked about it and they handed it over to him. The receipt on the bag was 1:37. I guess they don't call out names when an order is ready so my sandwich was just sitting there waiting for someone to ask about it? Anyway- I got my smoky pepper jack turkey sandwich home, opened it up - and there was NO bacon. The sandwich was just okay- I should have just gone a couple doors down to Jersey Mike's. I am annoyed that I tipped at the register when I ordered and in exchange received terrible service and a bland sandwich.

Newk's Eatery makes grabbing a quick meal easy…read more The biggest thing here is how fresh everything feels. Whether you're getting a sandwich, salad, or pizza, it doesn't feel like typical fast casual food. It's a step above that, but still quick and convenient. I've had the turkey avocado sandwich and the green goddess salad, both solid choices. My daughter usually goes for the pizza and enjoys it every time. We come here every once in a while, and the consistency is there. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. It's clean, not too loud, and works whether you're eating in or just stopping by to grab something and go. Service is solid. You order, things come out pretty quick, and the staff is friendly without overdoing it. One thing I will say is Newk's is one of the cleaner eating options in the area. If you're trying to be a little more mindful about what you're eating but still want something convenient, this is a good move. Overall, it's reliable. Fresh food, good options, and easy to work into your routine. Definitely somewhere I keep in rotation.

I basically got a bowl of tomatoes with a few beans in it and beef that look like was run through a blender. I was lucky if there was an ounce of beef in the chili. It looked nothing like its pic on the wall. See my pic. The toppings they provide did not come with the advertised cilantro. The other advertised condiments were only half filled in their cups and they were not enough I mean seriously I got about two thumbnails worth of cheese. And it was expensive enough to warrant a normal bowl of chili. On the positive side, my half sandwich of avocado and turkey was good. And before anyone says that should've talked to the management that wouldn't have been possible. I don't think there were any more than three people working here on a busy Saturday in December and there was always a long line. I wasn't going to get back in line and wait 15 minutes for something that should have been done right.

The strawberry watermelon lemonade was delicious and perfect. It wasn't overly sweet or tart. The chicken nuggets had a very nice crunch and good spice level for hot. I didn't find them super flavorful but my husband said they were really good. I also got a chicken sandwich and a veggie roo with tomatoes and lettuce. There was a lot of meat/mushroom per respective sandwich. Again, I found the seasoning lacking. The lettuce was more like some type of slaw. I didn't mind it but was confused for a minute because I wasn't expecting that. My husband didn't care too much for the slaw. I wish that it would have been clearer that it wasn't just lettuce. The amount Roaming Rooster sauce was excellent!

I got the OG and they really should put the slaw between the chicken (mine had two pieces) as it makes the bread soggy and I ate mine as soon as they handed it to me. The sandwich was okay but Slim Chickens is much better. Service was good and the staff was friendly. The taste isn't worth the price and nearly $3 for a can of soda (when you include tax) come on guys.
