This is a very friendly place with a terrific Italian sub. I like supporting small local businesses and this one is a winner. It's a bit hard to spot if you don't know the area, at the back of a very small strip mall next to the Exxon gas station. The dining room is small, casual and nice. Stopped by for the first time. We tried the Cheesesteak, an Italian cold cut sub and a Ham club. Along side we had their fries and onion rings. All of it was very good, prepared as was asked and provided very quickly. don't let the informal atmosphere fool you, they prepare some very tasty food. Great prices, quick service and yummy food. I was right down the road for a work event last week where I only had a short time to grab lunch. I stopped in with a few coworkers to get lunch to go. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast with lettuce, tomato and onion. I made it a combo which added fries and a drink. The chicken salad was good, the shredded style. Fast, friendly service! Tasty menu offerings where I can get breakfast while my wife orders her lunch items. Breakfast sandwiches are loaded with eggs, meat, and cheese (my favorite is fried eggs, sausage, and cheese on a toasted croissant with breakfast potatoes). Cheesesteak sub is very good per my wife. They also have desserts along with cut up fresh fruit if you want to have something sweet. Originally heard about SK from a neighbor and it is now one of our favorite places to eat. Not a fancy place but a true neighbor gem. Can eat in or get take-out. Looking forward to our next visit! read more

My wife and I stopped in because we were hungry and in the area, so glad we did. The food is incredible and really inexpensive. We got two breakfast meals and drinks for less than $20. I had the chipped beef since they have all day breakfast on Saturday. The portion size was perfect, and the taste was spectacular. I went there with a craving for a Italian cold cut sub. Ordered at 6 in sub . The guy behind me in line ordered the exact sub. Of course , he got his order first. I was upset and the clerk so the look of surprise on my face. I watched the guy who ordered after me and ordered the same thing walk out while I waited for my order. Rating this place as 3 stars was one of the easiest ratings I've ever given, as it really is completely average. I don't mean that in a bad way though; It is about what you'd expect, from looking at the outside of the place. To me, that means a quick place to grab a decent and quick lunch....nothing more, nothing less. I got a cheesesteak and mozzarella sticks, an order which really is pretty hard to screw up. And, while neither were anything special, they weren't bad either. They could have put on a little more steak, but they didn't seem cheap either, and it was certainly filling. It was also far less greasy than I am used to from carry out restaurants. I've found there to be two basic kinds of mozzarella sticks: those that seem breaded in bread crumbs, and those that seem somewhat beer battered (which I much prefer). S K serves the latter, which I was glad to see. There are a few seats inside, if you decide you want to eat there. The owners are friendly and the food comes out quickly. Folks, ignore the reviews before 2016. Sarah and her mom took over and the food is tastier and service friendlier. We've ordered delivery and ate in the restaurant at least a dozen times in the past year and the food is above par. Their phone was usually busy, but they've solved the problem by having online ordering via their website ( https://skpizzasubs.com/users/login ). I'd give them 5 stars if they were open later (and Sundays if possible). After 7:30pm (and on Sundays), Milano's is the only other delivery option in this area. read more

The bread is a perfect combination of crusty but chewy, the way I like it! The fries are awesome, they do not need salt or anything they are just perfect. oh man. another childhood classic spot that I'm so glad is still open and in business!! my mother owned a nail salon 2 stores down so I spent a lot of time in the plaza SK is located at. I remember playing in this store when I was a child with the owner's son but they handed store ownership to family and renovated almost everything :) still the same store I remember just with some TLC. food still tastes just as good as I remember it too.. I tend to come here on occasions when I'm feeling nostalgic and order the Philly Cheesesteak!! I usually also ask them to toast the bread extra and add green peppers :) If it's not the cheesesteak, their all day breakfast is a bargain too. I prefer the egg and cheese w/ hash brown sandwich! extra toasted haha. and when I'm not feeling a sandwich or sub, their wing-zings are a solid deal.. dry wings but they're juicy and spice breaded so it's got a kick to em! they've definitely expanded their bakery selection since I remember but that's never a bad thing hehe. it's nice to see new pastries and baked goods on display every time I come in. :) read more

My husband brought home french toast from S&K one morning and oh my! It was the absolute best. It was so fresh and tasty I began to wonder if they make their bread. I was so good! I am typically not a deli person so I was surprised that their breakfast was so good. (Remember, he's a regular) Hubby took me in to introduce me since he'd started picking up his breakfast regularly. The mother and daughter were so pleasant. The place is spotless which means a lot to me, seeing how other people keep their restaurants. This is a tiny place in a hole-in-the-wall shopping strip, but they do their hardest and it shows. I am a pizza snob and I consider SK to have the best pizza in the entire Annapolis area.

Probably okay for pizza and perhaps cheesestakes but don't venture too far off that menu choice... also a better pick-up and go than dine-in experience. During a power outage in the area it was one of the few places open to eat and the quality of food was very poor. Boneless chicken tasted as if it were re-heated & fried in days old grease. Fries were of same poor quality. Questionable cleanliness of interior (tables not very clean) though perhaps that was a function of the timing. read more

I do agree with Scott L that cheesesteaks are hard to mess up, but they aren't exactly easy to make great. I think that S K has the best around. I've been going there since high school and have always had a constantly good cheesesteak when I order and the experience has always been positive.
