It just had that simple balance of fatty fragrance and crunchy bite. The Seafood Omelette ($26) was also really, really nice. The portion of seafood was genuinely generous: I counted at least three scallops, four shrimp, and mouthful after mouthful of lobster folded into a provolone béchamel. Scoop up a piece with the toasted focaccia and it's hard to imagine a better way to start the morning. Service was prompt and the room was cozy and unpretentious. When the restaurant is busy, the noise level becomes overwhelming and takes away from what is otherwise a fantastic dining experience.
