They wrapped the expensive furniture and antiques in clean blankets then covered in plastic wrap. They took their time and were very cordial and friendly. The owner, Tony, is great about answering phone calls right away - unlike a lot of other movers. His crew are a great bunch of guys - polite, kind, and professional. I paid about $300 over what I was quoted, but the guys had to take an alternate route as the 5 Fwy was shut down in both directions. So I can't really be upset about that - guess that's just my luck! The only reason I didn't give these gents 5 stars was that my dining table got an approx. 1"x3" scratch during the move. Not a huge deal (the wife thinks otherwise. Haha). I called right away movers after calling multiple moving companies, and I couldn't be happier that I found them! I have never used movers before so I wasn't at all sure how it all worked, the owner was so nice and willing to answer all of my questions. I was so comfortable with the pricing and all the reviews these guys had that I booked them then and there. On moving day they were early and started loading everything when they got there. These guys are fantastic. I used to be a mover's helper when I was a young man and these guys are better than I was. They even brought a lovely young lady along to supervise. (I think it was the owner's wife) I have been striken with cancer and can not work the way I used to. I am a disabled vet on a limited income. They took all of that into consideration and more. We were very impressed with the movers, they were PROFESSIONAL, CLEAN, POLITE, PERSONABLE, and well trained, did an excellent job moving our stuff. After calling twice to make sure everything was on for move in day and there was nothing else that was needed from me. Movers showed up day of the move and wanted to be paid in CASH only. I was not aware of this ahead of time nor was I comfortable handing over $1000 cash to group of guys with a truck.(house is 1100sf) When you hire a professional you expect professional service which includes the ability to track and deduct the expense of moving from your taxes. They gave me the "well we will have to leave then" and I said I guess so. I called many other movers that morning to help with my emergency situation All of them take credit cards or at least a check. Gorilla Movers came to the rescue!! They were polite clean and respectful and cheaper than Right Way Movers. On the upside I didn't let it ruin my moving day and now I have a great moving company to refer all my property management business to!! read more

We had a local move - Oceanside to Vista- but we have a lot of collectables and mostly antique furniture. They we so conscience with all of our items. Moved quickly and with great precision. Dave, Adrian and Eli were so polite, efficient and kept the atmosphere cheery even though they were climbing 19 steps up and 19 steps back down each trip to the new apartment. Right Way Movers is a locally owed small business in San Diego county and I believe in supporting our local businesses as much as possible.
