First of all I want to express how thankful I am for The Rock Movers…read more Being a full-service moving company, I needed someone to help me pack AND move due to a recent injury crippling me right before I was scheduled to move. Their reliability and ease of setting up the packing and move when I was not even able to be present and the timing was truly helpful. It was more expensive than I had ever paid for movers, even without the packing, and that's honestly why I could not give them full 5 stars. As a military member going through an honorable discharge to help my family in crisis while already injured myself, I had to empty out my own savings and my children's I had saved up over a 9-month deployment in the combat zone to move back to my family when they needed my help, not even sure if I could then provide for them. So while I really thank them for the job they did, I never financially recovered from that and I do ask Rock Movers to consider the vets or military members in San Diego and to complete a weight estimate for them to be reimbursed.

Was moving several hours north after selling house due to husbands sudden death…read more 24/7 was the only moving company i contacted who actually gave me a quote online. all the rest wanted more info or gave reasons why it would cost more to move. Booked 24/7 to do the work. They showed up on the scheduled day about 8:30 am and we did a walk thru, showing them what was going and what was not. moving from a 4 bdrm to a 2 bdrm takes some downsizing. They started right in, wrapping, filling boxes and moving them out to the truck. Taking apart the furniture that needed it and moving it out to the truck. They are definitely good at their job. It took them till 10:30 at night to get it all packed and stowed in the truck. They were prompt on delivery day too. Showed up at 9 am . started unloading and putting together furniture and placing it where requested. Took till 4pm before they were finished with their part of unpacking . Great job! I highly recommend this company. They are prompt, polite and very good at their job.

Through out the moving process I was asked several times to write a review to the point of annoyance. Even asked me to write a review on google which I declined because I don't have any Google accounts. After the job was done, the worker came to verify if I wrote the review and checked on the phone and took a picture. During the payment process even asked if I could give a tip greater than 15%. If I could I would. In spite of all this, I gave a good review because of the "work" that was done, their hard work, and the rest of the team's hard work.

They worked tirelessly for 8-9 hours and were able to fit all our big furniture (including a piano, heavy elliptical, multiple couches, TVs, armchairs, dining table, desks, etc) and our many boxes into 1 big truck. They made sure to carefully wrap everything so nothing was damaged, and were very patient in answering our questions. They were very careful in loading, unwrapping and re-assembling everything at our new house (I could tell they were trying not to bump any doorways or scratch the walls with the heavy furniture which I appreciated). I had everything I own stolen from two separate units…read more I stored my belongings here for over 20 years, paying roughly $40-50k over that time. In the end, about $50,000 worth of my property was stolen from my two units, including irreplaceable items from my late father and grandparents, original artwork, and a career's worth of work samples (50+ snowboards). Their cameras only cover the outside of the buildings. Other storage facilities advertise interior cameras as a safety feature; this one doesn't have any. The front gate regularly allows multiple cars to pass through with one code entry, and the building doors themselves don't require an entry code or are usually propped open - essentially, anyone can enter the property and the buildings with zero verification that they should be there. Their website and payment system make you re-enter your payment information after you've already entered it and clicked confirm. I spoke to them about this numerous times, explaining that it's confusing; no retailer ever makes you reconfirm a purchase. Their response was that they didn't want people double-charged. I'd much rather be double-charged than robbed blind. Read into this however you like, but only my wife, myself, and their staff knew I had these units. I generally came midweek/mid-day and was careful not to leave anything of visible value in the hallways. My units were across the building from each other, and there was no obvious way for someone to know which units to target. My theory - and the detective on my case agreed it was plausible - is that I forgot to confirm my payment on their website one time, sending my unit(s) to pre-lien status. I paid the moment I got the notice, but the damage seems to have already been done. The thieves went through every single box in one unit, but stopped a third of the way through the other, leaving thousands of dollars of stuff untouched. Why? It's almost like they were told to stop for some reason. Maybe after a payment was made? When I reported my theft to the front desk, one employee was genuinely shaken, but the manager had an unmistakable "oh, sh**" look and showed zero surprise that I'd been robbed. To make it worse: insurance requires receipts and proof of ownership for decades-old belongings, much of it from people no longer alive to help me prove what I owned - capped at $5,000 on a $50,000 loss. Two decades of trust, gone. The place looks nice, but not everyone has a nice experience. I left one star, I wish I could leave less.

Right Way Movers moved us from California to Colorado. We called Tony & scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for the move. Brent came out to asses what we had to move. We scheduled a date for the packing and departure. Tony sent out 4 amazing young men to complete the packing and loading of our household goods. Brent did an absolutely amazing job of packing all of our items. Adrian, Shawn and Scott handled all of the loading. In addition, Scott inventoried each and every box and items that were not packable he documented the condition of each of those items. Tony had us trade phone numbers with Shawn and Scott in case of an emergency along the way. They were approximately 2/3 hours behind us the whole route. Everything arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. Shawn and Scott were absolutely amazing. I was extremely nervous and lost a lot of sleep until I saw them pull up in the driveway to our new "forever" home. I have heard and read all of the horror stories of moving and moving companies. I would never recommend anyone other than Right Way Movers. They were so polite and totally respectful at all times. If you ever need a recommendation for Beef Barbecue, you want to speak with Shawn. He is a connoisseur "King" of barbecue. We had dinner with Shawn and Scott. A very enjoyable evening, I mean really, what company does that. They invited us to join them for dinner. This is my second time using Right Way Movers. The first time I called, the owner actually answered on the first ring and has ever since. His crew are the hardest young men I've ever seen. Their answers are always yes and I mean...always, when I asked them to move my grandmother's armoire from upstairs to downstairs and again up again, no attitude, actually smiling. I'm apologizing, it's "no problem mam" Both of my moves were no where near a piece of cake. The best advice I'm going to give you, all is......have them pack for you -it'll make your move a lot less stressful by not adding unnecessary loads and hours. My mistake on my second move, thought I'd be really smart and save a boatload of money packing to 100+boxes, I realized later, I bought the sizes and shapes easiest for me to carry, by doing so, I caused them to add more trips to the truck with my smaller boxes thus; doing myself no favors and not saving me the the 10 hours of billing I was positive it'd be at least that.....no.... A lesson well learned. Obviously, I recommend them because their answer is always yes and I like that and I love to hear laughter, their a great team. My wife and I were in panic mode because our first movers that we hired left with only half of our furniture; they had brought a smaller truck than what was required. They could not provide us with a date when they could return to move the rest of what we had. When they finally delivered it, they had lost or damaged a lot of our furniture and charged us over 5K from the original moving estimate! We were saved by a recommendation for Right Way movers from a family member. On very short notice, Right Way Movers came to our home, talked with us, and quoted us an estimate to move our remaining furniture from California to Nevada. They were fantastic! They loaded their truck with our remaining belongings left behind by the other movers. They packed up our belongings with care. Everyone was so kind, caring and reasonable. They saved the day. Right way movers helped us move on Friday. There was a misunderstanding from the beginning about how large our move was. We were unclear about the amount of items that needed to move resulting in not having the correct amount of men on the job...which was our fault, not theirs. The men were friendly, fast and efficient. They took the time to wrap our items carefully to protect them. This was the first move where we used this company and I am pleased to say we will gladly recommend them to our friends and family and use them again in the future. I am also pleased to say that there was not even 1 broken or scratched item. WOW! What an incredible company. They were everything they said they would be and more! Monte personally meet with our team and he was awesome. Our budget was tight and we had very little time. Right Way Movers was competitive (not the cheapest) but worth every single penny. Monte came with a great crew of guys (Blake stands out so polite and hard working) who really cared about our belongings. They wrap everything to protect it and have one person who guides the team through doorways with large objects to avoid damage. Attention to detail is evident in everything they do. I called this company the other day for a quote and these guys are professionals. I had the quote and date within 10 minutes and they showed up on time which is a rarity for moving companies. The were great guys and the nicest I have ever dealt with moving companies. I had lived and worked in the Middle East and W. Africa for 18 years and moved many times and had horrible experience but this company is a breath of fresh air when it comes to moving. I like this company so much, I signed up for yelp just to give them a review. They are awesome. We moved across town, and they gave us a great price. They were on time, worked fast, took GREAT care of our things, and made sure everything was exactly where we wanted it before they left. Everyone was super courteous and friendly. UHM. These guys are awesome. I went from a terrible moving experience with one moving company to a fantastic experience with these guys. So friendly, quick workers, treated my door frame as gently as possible getting my oversized couch through my apartment door (which they took off and put back on), and I'm back to building my IKEA furniture. I had to pick up my new apartment keys at 11:30, that was the earliest time they could do it. I told them this and they wrote down that my time preference would be closer to 1. They ended up taking their breaks while I was at my other place. What I didn't realize at the time, I got charged for their breaks. Which would have been fine if they hadn't shown up early. On top of this, I did have a furniture item broken, I didn't realize until later because it was under a bunch of boxes. The wheel was broken off and pushed through the wood, no way to fix that. Thankfully one of my oldest antiques made the journey in one piece, minus a screw that makes it a bit wobbly. In conclusion I would recommend this moving company if you're willing to take small risks and you have money to spare. It costs a pretty penny, a lot more than I was expecting. The movers got into a loud, aggressive argument early in the day -- so bad that one of them ended up sitting in the truck cab for the rest of the day, leaving the crew short-handed. The remaining movers were angry, cursing constantly (about my furniture?), and continued to argue with each other throughout the day. The tension was uncomfortable, and honestly, I didn't feel safe or respected in my own home. Because they were down a person, the move ran way over their original estimate -- by 67% -- and even though they adjusted the rate, it still ended up costing far more than expected. When the company followed up for feedback, the person I spoke to was understanding and apologized sincerely. I was asked what could make it right. I said a refund. They offered $100 -- which felt inadequate -- and after I said so, they never responded again. I'm not writing this to get anyone "in trouble." I just think people deserve to know what they're signing up for. I paid for a full team and a professional experience -- and I received neither. I'm still waiting for the company to do the right thing and make this right with a proper refund.

Our experience with Mission Minded Moving and Junk Removal was unacceptable from beginning to end,…read moreparticularly considering that they were entrusted with delivering expensive, custom-made building materials to an active residential construction project. Mission Minded was scheduled to deliver an order of 35 custom residential windows to our job site. They arrived approximately two hours after the scheduled delivery time without a phone call or any other communication advising us that they were running late. On a construction site, scheduled deliveries are coordinated around manpower and the work being performed that day, so a two-hour delay without notice is not a minor inconvenience. Unfortunately, the problems continued once unloading began. Our crew ultimately had to tell the Mission Minded employees to stop helping with the unloading because of the manner in which the windows were being handled and placed. Windows were being unloaded onto the neighbor's side of the property, leaned against a freshly painted fence, and handled without apparent attention being paid to which side of the units was intended to face up. These were not scrap materials or inexpensive stock windows. They were custom-manufactured residential windows that needed to arrive at the project in the same condition in which they left the supplier. We then discovered that two large custom patio doors, with a combined value of approximately $15,000, were not even on the delivery truck. The Mission Minded employees told us they would leave, retrieve the missing doors, and return to the job site by 4:00 PM. They departed at approximately 1:45 PM, and the doors were located only about 28 miles away. Based on their stated return time, we arranged for our carpenter to remain at the project so the doors could be received and properly unloaded. Four o'clock came and went. No delivery and no phone call. By 4:30 PM there was still no communication. It was not until approximately 5:30 PM that we finally received a phone call informing us that they would not be returning that day and would instead deliver the doors the following morning. We had now kept a skilled carpenter standing by unnecessarily, into overtime, based specifically on the delivery company's representation that they would return by 4:00 PM. The following morning also came and went. It was approximately noon when the missing patio doors finally arrived, this time being transported in a pickup truck with an enclosed trailer. Upon arrival, the doors were lying on their sides and their packaging/shipping boxes were visibly torn and damaged. At that point I refused the delivery. As a contractor, I have an obligation to protect my client and stand behind the materials incorporated into their home. I cannot reasonably provide my client with a warranty on approximately $15,000 worth of custom doors after receiving them in visibly damaged packaging and observing the manner in which they had been transported. Whether damage to the doors themselves was immediately visible is beside the point. Once high-value building materials have been mishandled to the extent that their packaging is torn and their proper transportation is in question, I am not going to transfer that risk to my customer. What made an already frustrating situation worse was the response from the delivery employee. When I told him that the customer service throughout this delivery had been very poor and that I intended to discuss the situation with the owner of Mission Minded, I was met with attitude rather than an apology, concern, or any attempt to resolve the problem professionally. Delays happen. A missing item can happen. Even mistakes in scheduling can happen. Any one of those issues could have been handled professionally with timely communication, appropriate care of the materials, and some accountability. Instead, during a single order we experienced a two-hour late arrival without notice, improper handling of custom windows, two $15,000 patio doors missing from the original shipment, a promised same-day return that never happened, hours without communication, an unnecessary overtime expense, a promised morning delivery that did not arrive until approximately noon, damaged shipping packaging, questionable transportation of the doors, and an unprofessional response when legitimate concerns were raised. For a company being trusted to transport high-value, fragile construction materials, that level of service and handling is simply unacceptable. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Mission Minded Moving and Junk Removal for the transportation or delivery of high-value windows, doors, or other fragile building materials.
