Becky is an awesome manager. She is friendly, knowledgeable and takes care of the customers. She reminds me of my payment before it is due with phone calls. Becky provides great customer service. I am not satisfied though with the new owners NSA Storage. They have gone up on the prices. Looking for another storage that provides at least a dolly for the customers for the high fees. The location no longer has USPS postal service. A huge loss for the customer. read more

I have used the 620 location for years and through all the various owners. In general I have not had issues but this newest company keeps raising the rates and there is a huge rat problem on the B side. When we called they didn't seem to care, they just said to file an insurance claim for the damaged items. In the meantime we are stuck with the rats until we can clean and move our items which is a huge undertaking. The only thing we can do for now is use an electronic rat repellant but we have to constantly change out the batteries because when they die the rats are back, I've never seen a rat problem like this and I can only guess that our 100 boxes of books at the least are ruined. read more

Taylor Tx location ..... Michell Schroeder here Brent and I have had a storage unit at the location that RightSpace is now located. I've never had a issue until August of 2024. It has been a sad and very heart breaking experience. I'm not sure where to start other then The day I found out my mother was in icu. I was forced to move back right aqay. As i did i hired two close friends to help me move. I wasnt able to fallow right behind them due to my dog becoming very ill. Leaving me in a position that clearly was priority. My Rocoo of 9 years is no longer with me . It was a misunderstanding situation. The movers accidently placed all my beloging into the wrong storage at righspce. I was told my belongings where pushed out by the storage owner and no one knew where my belongs are today. Not any better than my last review. The service is still lacking. The package I mailed was sent to the wrong address even though the address was clearly on the front. I went back to clear this mistake up and they were not able to track it or even tried to find where it went. The person who sent it didn't even apologize for the error. The management is obviously desperate for anyone to work there since they will hire anyone and not care for quality customer service. read more

All this guy does is play passive aggressive games and even caused my movers to wait a good half an hour because of some BS he pulled where I actually had to call their corporate office in CA to get it handled! Fast, warm, and, friendly service. This is a mini contract post office that sports a drive-thru and manages personal storage units. I've never used the storage units, no need to. My only business here has been for postal needs. These guys are always eager to go that extra step for you. I was doing some official business in Iowa that required a lot of copying and faxing and money orders and notary service, you name it. While these guys couldn't accommodate my money order and notary needs, they did take care of everything else. I have never had a bad experience in here, and, because of these guys, I very rarely go to a USPS anymore. No need to, and, I know I won't feel like going postal before I leave. I use this location from time to time to drop off items to be mailed and we recently started using some storage space here. A recent addition to their services is that they offer shredding abilities. This was a very nice convenience since I had more paper than I honestly wanted to shred or burn when I cleaned out many of my files. They use an off site company that they promised is secure. I've been a tenant here for about 2 months now. I ship out a lot of packages via USPS, so having that here is just an added bonus--it was actually my deciding factor when choosing where to rent. Their location is great, the facility is clean and secure, and the employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Evan and Leslie always have a smile on their face. I won't go anywhere else to mail a package! I was so excited when I learned this "secret" a few years back as it is close to home and I heard there weren't any long lines. It gets MUCH better than that! I always get friendly service with a smile. They remember that I come in to mail packages to daughters out of state and are so helpful in helping me get packages mailed for the best deal for the time needed. I appreciate great service given but am even more grateful when it is given with joy. read more

Avoid. They do not allow returns/exchanges of merchandise. They charge $3+ for boxes that U-Haul sells for 99 cents.

I have only ever used this place for mailing packages so I cannot review the rest of their services. 75% of the staff are super nice and helpful, the other 25% are just ok but no one is terrible. The drive thru is always open when I am there. They always answer all my questions and give advice on how to mail the cheapest while still ensuring shipments get to their destinations in a timely fashion. There is almost always a line but that is due to the location - the clerks are actually really fast. I prefer going here to mail any package. read more

First time in today - went there because its the latest official USPS mail pickup close to us in Cedar Park (just a quick shot down 620) - it closes at 5:00 on Friday. The staff today was courteous, helpful and fast. This is a USPS Postal Annex, so they can't take Fedex or UPS. But for us procrastinators - the Saturday afternoon service is just what we needed. read more

Great American Storage is also a contract post office, and that is why most people go there. As a post office, they are superb. Super speedy and accurate at the same time. Never a gigantic wait. And they even have a drive through lane! I take complicated packages shipping internationally there, and they do it all correctly. Happy to show you all the commemorative stamps available. This was the third time I had horrible customer service so I decided to put it out on yelp. I have only had two positive experiences in 10 but three were particularly rude encounters. First of all, I drive to the place to go to the drive-through because I have two small children. Two times in cold-weather the drive-through has been shut down. If you are not going to have your services available during cold weather then make a sign that says that so I don't waste my time driving across town to still have to get out of my car. Secondly, I have had several staff members be very unfriendly there. One younger man was super nice but the rest of the staff in general has been curt and unfriendly. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would recommend you go down to the UPS store a block away -very friendly customer service and if you have to get out of your car anyway you might as well get out with nice people. I found Right Space Storage (the name changed) online in a haste to find a place to put all my wordly possessions. I completed the info on sparefoot and the pricing was exactly what I needed. This was my first storage experience and Russell called me to confirm my arrival. After driving from Chicago, Russell was just what the doctor ordered. He was so patient and kind and prepared my paperwork for me so I would not have to return until necessary. Russell spirit really lifted my spirits and each time I talk with him he is just as kind. He accommadated me when I needed extra supplies and water on those extra hot days. Russell has made my storage experience so pleasant and I will be certain to tell all my family and friends about Right Space Storage. read more

The only reason I drive to this location is to use the drive through. I have been informed that I first have to come in and ready my materials, then go through the drive through. This is nuts. You guys used to be friendly and helpful-I've been using the post office and storage spaces for years. I Won't be returning until the customer service improves. Don't offer a drive through if you don't want to serve customers through a drive through. With no customers inside or in line I was told "I don't have time for that" when I asked for a flat rate box and then had the door shut in my face when I asked about the new policies. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERMIN INFESTATION! I used Great American Storage for about 3 months while waiting to move into our new house. I went in to the office and provided notice of my intent to vacate and the clerk said "Ok, you're good. Just be out by Friday". I had to work on Friday so I moved everything out by Thursday. Come to my surprise I get an email on Monday saying that I owe rent. When I contact them, they said that I never provided intent to vacate and I never signed a move out checklist. I advised her (the manager Nicky) that I did provide intent to vacate, but I don't know the name of the employee I spoke to. I am basically called a liar and told that I owe for an additional month. After a bit of arguing, she stated that she could only offer half of the rent, but I still owe for another month. On the day I went in to pay, Nicki is not there and no other employee can do anything without her. I'm forced to pay for an additional month after having provided notice and vacating early. ALSO. All of my property was covered in vermin feces. It took several days of sanitizing and washing. I had advised Nicky of this issue while I was still a tenant and she seemed very apathetic. She blamed it on the construction across the street and said they have had terminex out several times. There was no apology for damaged property and no consolation when it came time to charge for another month. This place will do anything to charge you more and more money. read more

They really have terrible customer service. You are better off going to the actual post office. At least at the real post office you avoid the extra fees and are greeted with a smile. If it's 4:59pm and you aren't inside yet they will actually lock the door even if you are standing right outside of it. It is what it is. Just be sure to go by way before 5pm if you choose to use this place. read more

I visited this private post office to send a package. I felt discriminated and disrespected when asking one question generated that two employees got involved in the conversation and with a loud tone and diminishing attitude said the place has a new general manager and they will not send my package. They refused to tell me the reasons for since new administration, they will no longer send packages internationally, APO and Puerto Rico. When I initially rented the storage unit they had offered free use of a move in truck as part as their policy. Unfortunately I had already rented a truck and did not have use of the truck at the time. I asked them if I could use the truck when I moved out instead and they said that it wasn't a problem. Now that I am moving out, it is a problem and they said that I would have to pay $25 for the use of the truck. They pulled out my initial contract and said that it stated that I did wave the use of the truck, among several other fine print in the contract. Obviously $25 is not going to break the bank. I'm mainly upset about the fact that I had specifically asked them about the truck and now they are not willing to stand by what they initially told me. read more

Great American Storage used to be awesome when it came to using their post office services. Short and sweet with no long wait. I actually would pass another post office because I preferred their customer service over the USPS. However, recently I have had multiple packages delivered to my clients broken, missing items or not delivered at all. I will no longer use them because they are costing my business more money due to mistakes on their part. I chose them for speed and it has cost me. Never again. read more

It all seemed good at first but its like a wolf in sheep clothing. Yes they give you a free truck rental but they do not tell you up front that it has a time limit then oops no more free truck but hey you can rent it. I have been a customer of both the mail office for years and had two storage units for the last six months. They all know me well there as I am a frequent customer. When I was getting all my stuff out I needed a place for a very small amount of trash but they would not allow me to use their dumpster nor would they allow me to come back and pick it up after five o'clock even though the manager stays on the property, they were trying to get a $250 "clean up" fee out of me! They left me no option but to make a very small stack outside the gate so I could come back in about 20 minutes to get it. The manager called and said she was going to call the police! She immediately began the conversation with threats. She has extremely poor customer service skills and even worse communication skills! I did as I said I would do and promptly picked up the trash. It is appalling when a business like this one treats customers with no respect, This woman has a great lack of character. I would recommend that you never do business with this place, they will certainly try to cheat you with policies and fees. read more

Long story short, they sold me a lock for my storage unit and it only had a single key. I made the assumption that they kept the other key on file for emergencies (bad assumption). Today, I needed access and could not get my key for 72 hours. I went to their office and was told that my unit only had a single key and it was the one they gave me. They could sell me a new lock and 3 keys (which they should have done in the first place), but they would have to drill my existing lock - only they can't drill it for 2 more days as the maintenance person only works 3 days a week. So, in essence, they sold me a single key to my unit, rather than a lock with multiple keys, and I am 100% locked out of my unit. They should have never sold a lock with a single key in the first place when a backup key was not available. Ridiculous! Nice facilities, but their customer service and lack of compassion and common sense is frustrating. The people make the business and today, they failed. read more

BEWARE! RODENT INFESTATION, and as put by current storage manager, Sue, MASSIVE infestation that they have not been able to control. Per district manager Chase, this has been a problem since October 2016 & they have spent over $2000 with Terminex to try and control the problem and still have not been able to get the situation under control. After being out of the state for several months, I return to move my items out of the unit to find them destroyed. The minute I walked into the building you could smell urine. When I opened my unit, my items were covered with rodent feces and urine, items ruined beyond repair, the smell imbedded into items that when washed several times you still could not remove the smell, holes chewed into beds. When speaking with Sue the manager and ask why they didn't let unit owner's know of this situation since they knew since October she said they decided to take it on a case by case basis of "if anyone said anything". When I approached the manager Sue and district manager Chase of what they would do to replace my items since they took it upon themselves not to tell of the massive infestation, after they consulted with another "manager", they said nothing, they would pay my move out fees and that was it. I had a "climate controlled" unit that I paid good money for and trusted this place to have a good facility to store my most precious items. I followed all their "rules" and had no food or dirty items in my unit. I've lost all my son & daughter's keepsakes due to the embedded smell of urine for six months or urine ruining pictures that I can never replace, a oil painting from the National Guard that was painted for my late father that was a Colonel in the Army, not to mention the furniture worth several thousand dollars. These people knew this was a major problem & chose to tell no one and let their items rot in rodent feces and urine. Had I known I would have removed my items immediately. Per Chase, they didn't need to let us know, they were not negligent because they called Terminex & tried to "fix" the problem. But they never gave anyone the opportunity to clean or saving their items by sharing the problem with them, they let them rot. SHAME ON THEM! I wonder how they would feel if it was their belongings? read more
