At no point was I "thoroughly explained" that the service I was receiving would result in lower-quality work because of the price (no I didn't refuse any first quote, I actually paid more than the original offer for oem paint) In fact, they were the ones encouraging me to move forward with the project while I already had other work being done on the car. They also claim they repaired dents and body damage at no cost. That's misleading. I specifically asked whether the dings around the vehicle would cost extra because I was willing to pay for them, and I was told they would take care of them. That was their decision, not something I requested for free. As for the warranty, I was originally told there was a 5-year warranty on the work. However, after bringing the car back shortly after pickup to address issues I wasn't satisfied with, I was later told the warranty was no longer valid. Now the response claims it was only a 2-year warranty, which is not what I was told. The problem has never been about money. The problem is the quality of the work and the lack of accountability afterward. If a shop offers a service and accepts a job, they should stand behind the results instead of later claiming the customer didn't pay enough. Looking through other reviews, it seems like any negative feedback is met with an explanation of why the customer is at fault. I understand wanting to defend your business, but accountability goes a lot further than shifting blame. Written estimates, warranty terms, and expectations should be clearly documented to avoid situations like this in the future. This review is not about me trying to get my way or get a free paint job, this review is to save someone the headache of getting a bad paint job. I would never bring my car back here for any work, free or not.

So glad they did! The kid that helped me came out after he mixed the paint and tested it in various places on the car. He also helped remove the touch up paint that was the wrong color. He was also very generous with information and instructions on the best way to fix multiple spots on the car that I was getting this paint for. Oh, and once he mixed the right paint they were able to put it in a spray can so you can evenly cover the spots. So glad this place exists!

He gave me a reasonable and fair estimate for doing body repairs and repainting my entire car. My goal was to restore and spruce up my '88 Chevy Beretta. During the process, I was sent videos of how the project was progressing, and I appreciated the good customer service. Restoring my car was a detailed and extensive project and took several weeks to complete. They even took the time to do an internet search to locate some of the hard to find parts needed, which was a challenge for a 33 year old vehicle. When they finished my car I was blown away with how great and beautiful it looked! The high quality of the body work and the new paint exceeded my expectations. They also replaced the window and door seals, painted the wheels, painted the door jams , inside the trunk, and cleaned the engine and engine compartment and replaced an interior light bulb. They even kindly fixed my turn signal lever, which was a pleasant unexpected surprise. They also nicely cleaned the interior and floor. Years ago I had had my car painted at a different place, but Perfect Auto Paint and Body did a far superior job.
